Influence of repetitive lOOO°C-treatment on N2 adsorption onto H202-oxidized
publisherPowdery sample ofSri-Lankan graphite pre-oxidized in HzOz aq.soln. was heated at 1000°C under flow of 1
atm Nz repeatedly, and measured volumetrically for its adsorption-desorption isotherms of Nz at -196°C after
each heat treatment. It was found that, with increasing frequency ofsuch treatment, the adsorption isotherm
shifted downward, and the hysteresis between adsorption and desorption appeared smaller. Besides, the cycle
of heating at 1000°C did not eradicate a ~ubtle step over the relative pressures from 0.3 to 0.4. These facts are

Preparation of AgInS(2) Thin Films by Sulfurization of Ag/In Precursors
publisherThis paper describes preparation of AgInS(2) thin films as an absorption layer material for a top cell of
tandem solar cells. The film has been prepared by sulfurization of evaporated Ag/In metal precursors.
Ag/In ratios in the films were controlled by changing Ag/In ratios in the vacuum chamber. The annealing temperature of 300℃ was found to be appropriate for sulfurization in our case.departmental bulletin pape
Development of teaching material to learn mechatronics using AVR microcomputer and toy model
publisherMechatronics is composite technology which is combined mechanics with electronics. In technical education,
it has been discussed how to teach the mechatronics to beginner students. In this field of education,
hand-making practice attracts our attentions as the effective education method. Some years ago, the author
developed the teaching material that was the remodeling exercise of a toy model into the autonomous mobile
robot by using microcomputer. This mobile robot used the Z80 microcomputer for CPU and assembly language
for programming. But, in recent years, new microcomputer such as AVR microcomputer has been presented in
this technical field. The AVR microcomputer is simple and highly efficient device compared with the Z80
microcomputer. So, the author improved the previous mobile robot system by altering the Z80 system to AVR
one. And also, the assembly language was changed into the BASIC language. This paper shows the improved

ある言語学者のエスペラント観について
エスペラント運動をはじめて内部からながめるときに、すぐにきがつくのは、そこにかかわっている職業的言語学者が非常にすくないことである。なぜ言語の「専門家」であるはずのひとびとがエスペラントやエスペラント運動に関心をしめさないのか。あるいはエスペラント運動の(批判ではなく)中傷すらおこなうことがあるのか。本稿ではこの点についてかんがえてみたい。そのてがかりとするのは、くろだりゅーのすけ(黒田龍之助)『にぎやかな外国語の世界』(白水社、2007 年、pp.156-7)におけるエスペラントについての記述である。これを選択した理由は、この著者が一般むけの比較的良質な書籍を商業出版している著者であることと2、エスペラントについてふれたその内容が、言語学者・言語研究者のあいだにみられる立論の典型例であると筆者が判断したことにある。本稿ではその議論がもつ特徴の析出をこころみ、なぜそのような議論がなされるのか、その背景をかんがえる。こうした作業は、エスペラント運動の障害ともなりうる言説がうみだされる構造を把握し、その対抗言説を構想するための基礎となるだろう。まず、当該の記述をしめす(下線は引用者による)。journal articl

word knowledge is almost equivalent to deciding participants’ English skills, though English proficiency has a variety of aspects such as the abilities of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. When conducting a vocabulary examination, the shorter the time to complete it is, the more comfortable the test-takers and examiners feel, as long as the results are not skewed. The extension course using model rocket as teaching material

For this problem, Tsuyama National College of Technology has organized extension courses and exhibitions which provide opportunities to perceive the interest of science and technology for schoolchildren and junior high school students. Especially, Department of Mechanical Engineering has provided production guidance for robots, solar cars, and wind cars. In this report, we deal with a model rocket as a new teaching material. The model rocket is well known as safe superior science teaching materials all over the world if handled according to the rule for the model rocket. In addition, because a model rocket’s flight is based on the same theory as a genuine rocket, a model rocket is the best teaching material to encourage
interest in science. Therefore, we prepared the new teaching material which used handmade model rocket and two types of model rocket kits in 2006. Research and development of a drainpipe with vortex chamber: a finding about the effect of projected ring on rotating flow in the vortex chamber
publisherWe developed a new drainpipe with vortex chamber in order to free from the danger of getting caught in
drain of swimming pool. This new drainpipe can control the suction force with the working of vortex flow. In
this study, we tried to reduce the suction force by using the ring which was attached on the side wall of the vortex
chamber to prevent secondary flow. This trial was not successful, but another interesting characteristic was
found by the analysis of experimental data. That is to say, it is reasonable to think that the flow should be reduced
by the ring, but in this experiment any rings do not affect the flow rate of the drainpipe. This result is very attractive, so we show the experimental results and consider the result from some angle.departmental bulletin pape
Loss Tangent and Constraint of Deformation of\n Composite Rubber Plate with Inclined Layers
publisher弾性体であるゴムの複合体の解析は,タイヤの動的性能などの基礎的研究としても重要である粘弾性に対する重要な材料定数として,複素弾性率と損失正接(loss tangent)がある.複素(動的)弾性率は,静的弾性力学におけるHookeの法則の弾性係数を,粘弾性体の動力学的挙動に対して拡張したものである.また損失正接はタイヤなどゴム材料の重要な材料特性値となっている.本報告では,粘弾性体としてゴムを考え,それが不均質であるとした場合に考えられる2種類のゴムからなる複合体について,損失正接などを解析的に求めるとともに実験結果と比較検討する.応力軸に対して斜めに配置するゴム積層板を考え,1軸方向に対する弾性定数を線形複合側を用いて求める方法を拡張することにより,種々の斜め角度に対するゴム複合体の複素弾性率および損失正接を求める.解析に用いる仮定を変えた場合の解析を示し,実験結果と比較することによって,解析方法の妥当性を検証する.Tensile deformation of composite rubber plate with inclinedlayers to the stressaxis is analysed. Effects of Retained Austenite Characteristics on Delayed Fracture Properties of Ultra High-Strength TBF Steels

TRIP-aided steels with bainiticferritematrix (TBF steels) were investigated. The hydrogen concentration of TBF steels
were increased with increasing volume fractionof retainedaustenite.It was considered that the hydrogen which charged to the TBF steelswas mainly trapped in retained austenite and/or on retained austenite/matrixinterface.The TBF steel with high carbon concentration of retained austenite indicated high delayed fracture strength. This was expected that (1) hydrogen-assisted and/or stress-assisted martensite transformation of retained austenitewas suppressed by existence of the stabilizedor carbon enriched retained austenite,(2) hydrogen was trapped in refined interlath retainedaustenite films and (3) localized stress concentration was relaxed by straininduced plasticityof retained austenite.departmental bulletin pape
Study on dielectric characteristics of Contaminated Resin Case\nFor High-voltage Semiconductor Module
publisherThe purpose of this study is to clarify insulation characteristics of contaminated resin case for high-voltage
semiconductor modules under dc voltage. Also this study plans to develop a novel design of resin case which has higher insulation performance. 3 kinds of model are prepared for the test made of PBT and PPS resin. The tests were carried out under the conditions of 50℃ and 80%RH. We found out that the design now used for 1700V IGBT maintain enough dielectric strength for 30 years under 0.06mg/cm(2) contamination.
