An attempt to infer English-language Proficiency from Vocabulary Test Scoresfor Second Graders of College of Technology
Get PDFpublisherThis paper aims at clarifying whether it is possible to estimate students’ performance of English by conducting receptive vocabulary tests. Measuring word knowledge is almost equivalent to deciding participants’ English skills, though English proficiency has a variety of aspects such as the abilities of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Participants were Japanese students of college of technology. One overall English proficiency test and a series of vocabulary tests were administered over a one-week period. Analyses of the data revealed that the consequence of the 3000 word-level receptive vocabulary test named Mochizuki’s vst31 had the most significant relation to that of the English performance examination, the third grade of the STEP test or Eiken of all the indicators. This study also offers a suggestion to shorten the time used to measure one’s general English performance.departmental bulletin pape

I fabricated the bulks that have many cavities by varying the sintering temperature and the pressure. In this paper, the computer experiment training system using 'T-Engine' platf{mll focused on the embedded software education for student experiment program in a teclmical college was investigated and discussed. It is found from this research: (I) the computer literacy with the BTRON3 operating system can apply as the personal computer experiment practical training. (2) Windows or LiI111X operating systems are suitable for software development trainings rather than BTRON3. (3) The PIC microcomputer device is suitable for an experiment training of I/O controls. (4) The 'T-Engine'platfol111 of the ITRON is suitable for the experiment training of the small liquid crystal display control. STUDIES ON DEVELOPMENT OF ADAPTIVEALGORITHMS FOR TWO-DIMENSIONAL FILTERS AND PROCESS SYSTEMS
Get PDF広島大学博士(工学)2009本論文は，筆者が広島大学大学院工学研究科博士課程後期複雑システム工学専攻において行った，２次元フィルタおよびプロセスシステムに対する適応アルゴリズムの開発に関する研究成果を５つの章にまとめたものである。
第１章では，ディジタル信号処理の分野における２次元適応FIR フィルタとその適応アルゴリズム，およびプロセス制御の分野で広く用いられている適応制御，PID 制御系とその調整アルゴリズムについて概説し，その歴史背景，当該分野における本研究の目的を明確にしている。そして，５章からなる本論文の概要を詳細に述べている。
第２章では，直交射影アルゴリズムを用いた２次元適応FIR フィルタの設計について提案している。従来の２次元LMS アルゴリズム，２次元正規化アルゴリズムについて詳述し，図式解釈を通してこれらの問題点を指摘する。２次元直交射影アルゴリズムが提案され，その収束条件が与えられている。一般的には垂直あるいは水平の場合に対して信号の性質が異なる場合が多いため，水平・垂直の２方向から処理を行う直交射影アルゴリズムおよび水平・垂直の２方向の入力信号を直交化させるアルゴリズムについても同様に考察する。最後に幾つかの応用例を示し，これらの手法の有効性を示している。
第３章では，制御性能評価と制御系設計を融合するモデル予測型PID 制御系の設計について提案している。定常状態における制御性能に関して，代表的なPID 制御則との比較によりGPC 制御則の有効性について検証を行なっている。制御系従事者にとって直感的に理解できるパラメータを用いてGPC-PID 制御則の設計パラメータの調整を行うことにより，プラント従事者にとって極めて有効で有益なPID パラメータ調整法を確立している。また，定常状態における制御性能を評価することで性能が劣化したPID 制御器のパラメータを設計パラメータの再調整により適応させるアルゴリズムを構築している。コンピュータシミュレーションにより，従来法であるセルフチューニングコントローラと比較することで，定常状態における制御性能の改善やシステム同定回数の大幅な削減などの観点から本手法の有効性を検証している。
第４章では，制御性能評価機能を有するCMAC-PID 制御系の設計について提案している。CMAC およびCMAC-PID 制御系について詳述し，CMAC-PID 制御系に含まれる荷重値を第３章で述べた方法により更新させることで，所望の定常特性が得られるように適応させるアルゴリズムについて提案されている。これにより，１つのCMAC で所望の過渡性能および定常性能が得られるコントローラが構築できる．最後にコンピュータシミュレーションにより，第3 章の方法と比較することで，非線形システムにおいて本手法の有効性を
検証している。

Windows NTドメインからActive Directory環境へのドメイン移行
Get PDF津山工業高等専門学校では、2000年度から会議用資料のペーパレス化に取り組み、現在でもWindows NT Server 4.0（以下NT Serverという）をファイルサーバとして運用している。また、定期試験の答案を電子化して保管することを目的とした「定期試験の答案管理システム」［1]と連携してユーザ認証の役目も担っている。運用開始から９年が経過し、サーバ機の老朽化、2004年12月末にNT Serverのサポート終了、そしてNT Server対応のウイルス対策ソフトのサポートが2009年3月末で終了と運用環境に限界が生じてきた。これを機会に新たにサーバを用意し、ユーザ情報等の環境をそのまま引き継ぐ方法でWindows Server 2003（以下Server 2003という）へバージョンアップを図ることにした。これにより最新のセキュリティ対策も行うことが可能になる。
