Heidegger and the Conservative Revolution ―“Philosophy of Finitude” or “Outside of Philosophy”―
publisherHeidegger, who was deeply aware of the finite conditions of human knowledge, tried to envisage a “philosophy of finitude”. Therefore his philosophy was always exposed to “outside of philosophy”. The purpose of this treatise is to depict the characteristics of his philosophical ideas in new historical perspectives in the context of the philologist Hellingrath, the legal scholar Schmitt, and the writer Jünger. As a result, Heidegger’s thinking turns out to be an original and radical theory of the Conservative Revolution.departmental bulletin pape
Manufacturing Education by Students Themselves, and Its Effect after That
publisherA classical iron-making process, named Tatata-method, performed with some 2nd year students at ground of Tsuyama-college in March 2020. In this experiment, the classical iron-making process performed by some different grade students themselves, expecting an educational effect. In this report, effects of the manufacturing education for making consciousness construction between students are reported.departmental bulletin pape
Meaning and Effect of the Learning Portfolio introduced at Junior Doctor Science School of Tsuyama College
publisherThe Junior Doctor Science School is a project developed by the Japan Science and Technology Agency, and seeks out elementary and junior high school students with high motivation and outstanding ability to develop outstanding human resources who will lead future science and technology innovation. The purpose is to discover junior high school students and develop and implement a systematic training plan to encourage their abilities through learning in the fields of science and mathematics and information. Tsuyama College has been adopted for this project and has been working on it since 2018. This program introduces a "learning portfolio" as a formative training and assessment method for students. A learning portfolio is a file that systematically and continuously collects evidence (e.g. worksheet) about what students have worked on, what efforts they have made, and what they have achieved. It is a "self-growth file" that contains all the materials related to the student's own learning. A major feature of the learning portfolio is that it can track the “learning trajectory” and “history” of each student. In this report, we describe on the learning portfolio developed at the Junior Doctor Science School of Tsuyama College.departmental bulletin pape
Observations on Students’ Reading Comprehension of Communication through Literary Works in the Subject “Communication II”
publisherThe purpose of this article is to show what the subject, “Communication Studies II” was like in 2019. The author set the topic, “how students rethink about communication through literary works” and in the lessons they made groups of 4 students, read short stories by Oscar Wilde, summarized the plot, and gave presentations group by group. In addition, each student was given assignments to think about communication failure. In this article, these points will be focused on: how to decide the syllabus and the textbook, how to set the topic, and what kinds of activities students did in the class.departmental bulletin pape
Solving the Schrödinger equation for Kosen students : Hydrogen atom
publisherSolving the Schrödinger equation in quantum mechanics is not easy. In this research report, we would like to solve the Schrödinger equation concretely for the energy eigenvalue problem of the hydrogen atom. To help Kosen students understand this problem, we explain general solutions from the calculation of concrete solutions. We also explain the relationship between the principal quantum number n, the azimuthal quantum number l, the magnetic quantum number m, and the spin quantum number s.departmental bulletin pape
Study on Nurture of Mechatronics Engineers Using Prototype Educational Material for Visualizing inside of the Microcomputer
publisherThe purpose of this study was investigating whether students' understanding and motivation for the microcomputer changes by making them aware of data movement in the microcomputer during execution. First, we created a prototype educational material to visualize relationship between the internal data flow and program execution. Then, we hold a workshop using the prototype. Consequently, effectiveness of a workshop using the study material were able to be confirmed.departmental bulletin pape
