The punctual Hilbert schemes of degree two for monomial plane curve singularities
publisherIn this paper, we show that punctual Hilbert schemes of degree two for monomial plane curve singularities are isomorphic to a projective line.departmental bulletin pape
Repeat Space Theory Applied to Carbon Nanotubes and Matrix Art
publisherIn conjunction with the series of papers entitled "Repeat space theory applied to carbon nanotubes and related molecular networks. I, II, III" published in the J. Math. Chem., Springer, two Challenging Problems E and F have been formulated and discussed. The Matrix Art pictures of carbon nanotube energy band curves played a significant role as a heuristic trigger in formulating Problem E, and the pattern analysis of matrices in the repeat space was crucial in providing a conjecture in Problem F. The visual and audible data analysis are playing a significant role in the international, interdisciplinary, and intergenerational Second Generation Fukui Project and in its special new part, the Niagara Project.departmental bulletin pape
The Judgments of UK Courts on "The Right to Life" in Armed Conflict outside its Territory No.1
publisherThe main purpose of this study is to analyze the conflict (?) between UK Supreme Courts and European Court of Human Rights over "the Right to Life" in the case of Al-Skeini and others. Six Iraqi civilians were killed by British Armed Forces in 2003 during its occupation of Iraq and their relatives applied for an order of judicial review against the Secretary of State for Defense in UK Courts and European Court of Human Rights. On the one hand five appeals of them did not succeed at UK Courts, on the other hand all their appeals succeeded at European Court of Human Rights in 2011. Why does such a conflict (?) between two courts come about? How will the judgment of European Court of Human Rights influence the future judgments of UK Courts? The purpose of this article is to analyze the judgment of Queen's Bench Division of the case of Al-Skeini and others as the first stage of this study.departmental bulletin pape
Fabrication of Two-layer Structure Superconducting Bulk with YBCO
publisherYBa(2)Cu(3)Oy(Y123) superconductors are highly attractive for bulk applications, such as strong superconducting bulk magnets. Phase diagram shows a peritectic point at about 1010℃ where Y(2)BaCuO(5)(Y211), a liquid and Y123 coexist. Y211 is known to contribute to a critical current density. We put Y211 powder in Y123 powder and made the superconducting bulk. As the result, we could have Y211 film in Y123 superconducting bulk. We named two-layer structure superconducting bulk. We showed that superconducting properties improved by putting Y211 powder with an experiment.departmental bulletin pape
Basic Study of an Intellectual Agent Implementation for Scheduling Labor Reduction
publisherIn order to improve a quality of communication, we study a system to automate a personal schedule. The central part of the scheduling system is implemented as an intelligent agent build by a hybrid system with production and frame systems. The system is built as a Web system using the open source software such as Ruby, PostgreSQL, FreeBSD. We confirm that the basic operation of a scheduling generation is confirmed for sample tasks.departmental bulletin pape
Introduction of LED matrix display control to Electrical and Electronic Creativity Exercises class
publisherThis paper reports introduction of display of flip-flip animations on 8x8 LED matrix display used PIC micro-controller
to Electrical and Electronic Creativity Exercises class.
Students have no knowledge about PIC maicro-controllers, and so teacher gives them the circuit drawing and a prototype
program. Students had made the circuit on a through-hole circuit board and displayed a prototype flip-flip animation at the present time. From now on, students are going to design original flip-flip animation, furthermore design original display program.
Students are hoped for the acquirement of the skill using PIC micro-controller and a pleasure in this subject.departmental bulletin pape
Tsuyama-castle Function and Matrix Art
publisherThe present paper constructs a class of complex-valued functions c-MagicMt(θ) and associated operator theoretic tools, which serve as powerful tools for proving the Asymptotic Linearity Theorem Extension Conjecture (ALTEC) in the repeat space theory (RST). The real part of c-MagicMt(π) is what is called the Tsuyama-castle function. This function has an interesting inwardly repeating fractal structure and self-similarity, useful in the RST and in the Matrix Art Program of the Niagara Project, which is a special new part of the ongoing international, interdisciplinary, and inter-generational Second Generation Fukui Project.departmental bulletin pape
