Crisis de la década de 1690 en el Moxos jesuítico: Una reconstrucción histórica con base en un epistolario misionero de la Biblioteca Nacional del Perú
Full text linkLa madrugada del 10 de mayo de 1943, se produjo un gran incendio en
la Biblioteca Nacional del Perú, Lima (en adelante BNP). Este desastre
redujo el edificio de la BNP a escombros y más de cien mil volúmenes
empastados y cuarenta mil manuscritos a cenizas. Entre los fondos de la
BNP afectados por el incendio se encontraba una colección de cartas que,
desde las misiones establecidas en los Llanos de Moxos (actual Oriente
boliviano), los misioneros de la Compañía de Jesús enviaron a sus
superiores y colegas de Lima. Rescatadas de los escombros y las cenizas,
hoy estas cartas forman parte de dos legajos de la sección de manuscritos:
C58 y C63. Este artículo tiene por objeto recalcar su importancia para los
estudios históricos de las misiones fronterizas de la América española.
Prestamos atención especial al estado de crisis en que cayeron los
misioneros de Moxos durante la década de 1690 con una sublevación
indígena y una invasión de milicias brasileñas. Con base en las cartas de la
BNP, reconstruimos los hechos, corregimos los errores de los estudios
previos y aclaramos las consecuencias de la crisis en la historia posterior de
las misiones de Moxos.1943 年 5 月 10 日深夜，リマのペルー国立図書館（以下図書館）で大火災が
発生した。この惨事により，図書館の建物は瓦礫と化し，10 万冊以上の製本済
文献と 4 万部の手稿が灰燼に帰した。火災の被害に遭った図書館の蔵書には，
イエズス会がモホス平原（現在のボリビア東部）に設立したミッションから，
宣教師がリマの上長と同僚に送った書簡のコレクションが含まれる。瓦礫と灰
のなかから回収されたこれらの書簡は現在，図書館の手稿部門の C58 と C63 と
いうふたつの文書群に収められている。本論文の目的は，スペイン領アメリカ
の辺境ミッションの歴史研究におけるこれらの書簡の重要性を強調することで
ある。モホス・ミッションの宣教師は 1690 年代，先住民の反乱とブラジルの
民兵の侵攻に直面するが，本論文はこの危機的状況に注目する。図書館の書簡
に基づいて出来事を再構成し，先行研究の誤りを修正し，その上で，この危機
がモホス・ミッションのその後の歴史的展開に与えた影響を解明する。departmental bulletin pape

Acting like Others : Analysis of Caregiver-Child Interactions among the !Xun＜Naturalizing Cultural Anthropology＞
Full text link本論文では，言語の自然化は可能かという問いの一環として，他者と同じよ
うに行為することの社会的意義について考える。私はこれまで，模倣の社会科
学と模倣を可能にする認知過程についての研究，いいかえれば，ルーマンらが
議論している社会システムと心理システムを媒介する次元としての相互行為シ
ステム（e.g. ルーマン 1993; 1995）について論じてきた（高田 2019）。本論文で
は，ナミビア北中部に暮らすクン・サンにおける乳幼児を含む相互行為（CCI
と略す）に着目し，模倣に関わる行為間の関連性について論じる。さらに，こ
うした相互行為システムにおいて創造的な模倣が可能になる条件を探っていく。
私たちが他者と同じように行為することによって，どのように行為の意味を生
み出し，理解し，それに応答しているのかを分析していくことは，言語の自然
化を経験論的に推進する。それは心と物の二世界物語の脱構築（ライル 1987）
をともなうとともに，自然の入念な観察から世界の仕組みを学ぼうとするとい
う自然誌の伝統に沿った学問的アプローチである。In this paper, I reconsider what it means to act like others, as part of the
question of whether language can be naturalised. I have discussed the social
science of imitation and the cognitive processes that make imitation possible;
in other words, the interaction system as a mediating dimension between
social and psychological systems, as discussed by Luhmann et al. (e.g.
Luhmann 1995; 高田 2019). In line with this, I focused on interactions
involving infants and young children (CCI) among the !Xun San living in
north-central Namibia, and discuss the relationships among actions related to
imitation. I also explored the conditions under which creative imitation is
possible in such a reciprocal system. Empirically Analysing how we create,
understand, and respond to the meaning of actions by acting like others promotes
the naturalisation of language. It entails a deconstruction of the twoworld
narrative of mind and object (Ryle 1949) and is a scholarly approach in
keeping with the natural history tradition of trying to learn how the world
works through careful observation of nature.1 はじめに
