A Study of Some Treasures of Sekigan-ji Temple, Aichi Prefecture : Artworks from the Heian Period and Those Associated with Nara
No full textSekigan-ji Temple in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, is a temple known for its concentration of cultural properties, housing important cultural assets designated at the national, prefectural, and municipal levels. However, a survey conducted by Nara University of Education has revealed that many cultural properties at the temple remain undesignated. Among these undesignated items are works from the Heian period—such as a seated statue of Amitabha Tathagata, a standing statue of Manjusri Bodhisattva, and Iron Khakkara Head— which serve as evidence of the temple’s long history through their existence. In addition, there are works such as the Seated Tile Buddha images and the image of Kasuga Akadōji that demonstrate the normative influence of Nara culture in Aichi Prefecture (formerly Mikawa Province). This study conducts an investigation and analysis of these works using methods from art history, cultural heritage research, and scientific studies on cultural properties, and aims to present the findings to the public. It is hoped that this paper will serve as an impetus for the re-evaluation of these currently undesignated cultural assets.departmental bulletin pape
The field occurrence of the Natsumi composite intrusion in the Yoshino district of Nara prefecture : An example of magma mingling in a volcanic conduit
No full textThis paper reports on the field occurrence of the Middle Miocene Natsumi intrusion exposed in the Yoshino District of Nara Prefecture, and discusses the mingling of two magmas of rhyolite and andesite. From the observations the main rhyolite magma was intruded by the andesite magma, and the contact between them changes gradually, indicating that both magmas were hot enough to deform when the andesite magma intruded to form the composite intrusion. Therefore, both felsic and mafic magmas were existed simultaneously in the magma chamber in the central area of the Kii Peninsula during the Middle Miocene.departmental bulletin pape

A Study on Future ESD Class Practice
No full textユネスコが2023 年に公表した2030 年に向けたESD ロードマップでは、人類が直面する課題として気候変動に焦点が当てられており、グテーレス国連事務総長は「我々は真に人類の生存を賭けた闘いに直面している」と述べた。世界の温室効果ガス排出傾向は止まらない。SDGs を広めるにはメディアが大きな役割を果たすものの、個人の行動の変化を促すには教育（ESD）が重要である。ロードマップが示すように、一人一人の行動を変えるためには、人類の生存にとって何が正しいのかという素朴な感覚を養う学習が必要であり、五感に訴える学習活動の重要性が明らかになった。そこで2022 年度2023 年度に近畿ESD コンソーシアムのESD ティーチャープログラムにおいて、作成された275本のESD 学習指導案を調査したところ、その多くは五感に訴えかける学習状況を設定していた。しかし、学習過程の前半に配置される傾向があった。 ESD が学習後の子どもの行動変容を促すことを考慮すると、学習の後半に子どもたちが向上心を刺激する人々と出会い、協働する場面を設けることが効果的であると、結論付けた。departmental bulletin pape
Classroom Practice in the Geography of Junior High School Social Studies from the Perspective of SDGs:The Relationship between Fair Trade and Monocultural Economies in African States
No full text本稿は、SDGs の視点から捉えた中学校社会科地理的分野の授業実践報告である。社会科とESD やSDGs の関係性は深い。持続可能な社会の創り手の育成には子どもたち一人ひとりの意識や行動の変革を促す社会科の授業づくりが重要である。授業では、アフリカ州におけるフェアトレードとモノカルチャー経済を例に挙げ、これらがSDGs 達成にどのような影響を与えているのかについて中学生自身が考え、課題を解決するためにはどうすればよいのか、自分たちにできることは何かを探究する活動を実践した。現在、地球上で起きている問題は決して他人事ではなく、自分にも関係することである。授業での学びは自分事にまで落とし込むことで初めて定着する。本実践では、演習課題の記述内容やアンケート結果から多くの生徒は自分事に落とし込むことができていると分かった。これによって、持続可能な社会の創り手の育成に寄与できたのではないかと考える。departmental bulletin pape
Individuals’ Attitudes and Acceptance Ratios in Educational Settings:A Computer Simulation-Based Analysis of Normally Distributed Critical Numbers
No full text教室や学校等の集団・組織における「個人（成員）が持つ態度（社会的感受性）」の分布様態が，その集団での当該行動の採用率に及ぼす影響について，個人間の相互作用がグローバル・ローカルいずれの範囲で行われるのかに着目して検討した。まず，個人が持つ「ある行動」に対する社会的感受性を様々に変化させた正規分布するデータセットを作成した。次に，限界質量モデルをベースとしたシミュレーションを行い，集団・組織における当該行動の採用率を算出した。その結果，当該行動に関する成員の社会的感受性が概して否定的なものである場合は，ローカルな相互作用が行われた方が，採用率は高くなることが示唆された。逆に，社会的感受性が肯定的なものであるときは，グローバルな相互作用の方が，採用率は高くなる傾向が見られた。最後に，得られた知見を基にして，援助行動における傍観者の発生を抑制する方法等について考察した。研究データファイル名：figure_rslt.xlsx
