Sports for wounded soldiers in wartime: Focusing on the Japan-China War （1937-1945）
No full textMany reports have documented sports programs for wounded soldiers of war, focusing on the origin of the Paralympic Games. Exercises for citizens and army during periods of war have also been reported. However, there are few reports about wounded soldiers enjoying exercises and sports, even in wartime.
In this study, we focused on exercises and sports in which wounded soldiers participated during the Japan-China War (1937-1945). We analyzed newspaper articles of the time to clarify what was the soldiers’ purpose behind exercising and how they exercised.
As a result, it was found that the government held "Blind Hero" athletic meetings extensively during the war, as part of support for the wounded soldiers to secure the opportunity to exercise. In addition, wounded soldiers enjoyed various kinds of sports, such as baseball, mountain climbing, and swimming, even though the general public could not enjoy sports openly. Media called these exercises “white costume hero’s activities.” Brave and vigorous heroes, suffering from severe disabilities, participated in these activities.
Originally, wounded soldiers seemed to be the symbol of antiwar to the people. However, news about wounded soldiers actively playing sports helped people remember the brave in the battlefield. Development an English Learning App and Its Evaluation
No full text近年のテクノロジーの進歩に伴い、教育の情報化が急速に進んでいる。生徒１人１台の学習環境が整備される日は、そう遠くないであろう。教員のICT活用はもちろんであるが、今後は、生徒がICTをどのように活用するのかが課題になる。本研究では、生徒が活用するための、文法学習と語彙学習のコンテンツを搭載したアプリケーションを開発し、その運用評価を行うことを目的とする。実際に、奈良県内の公立中学校で、生徒が１人１台iPadを活用できる環境を準備し、教材の運用評価を行った。生徒は10分間の学習時間で、内蔵されたコンテンツから学習したいものを選び、学習した。生徒は楽しみながら学習に取り組むことができ、事後アンケートで、生徒の多くは、アプリケーションを活用し英語を学習することで、「英語力が身に付く」と感じ、「家庭学習で活用したい」と回答した。これらの要素は、生徒の学習を継続させる要因になると考えられる。departmental bulletin pape

No full text2020年度から小学校外国語科が全面実施されるが、指導するにあたっては多くの課題がある。角谷・前田（2019）は、児童のコミュニケーション能力（Canale 1983）の向上が期待されるブレンディッド・ラーニングの枠組みを開発した。本研究では、公立小学校6年生3学級を対象に、小学校英語の指導経験が長くない、指導に自信がない学級担任が、ブレンディッド・ラーニングの枠組み（角谷・前田2019）を取り入れた実践を行った。
児童と学級担任を対象としたアンケートや聞き取り、パフォーマンステストの分析から、児童のコミュニケーション意欲とその自信を高め、不安が軽減され、コミュニケーション能力（「社会言語能力」「方略的能力」に相当すると考えられる力）が向上し、指導者に関わっては不安と負担感を軽減し、指導意欲を向上させる可能性が示唆された。departmental bulletin pape
The effects of the expectancy on interpersonal affection and causal attribution in failure of confession of love
No full text大学生を対象にして、仮想場面法を用いて、異性に対する告白を失敗した場面における感情，原因帰属及び次への意欲を検討した。告白する相手に対するこれまでの関係がうまくいっている場合（期待高条件）と、うまくいっていない場合（期待低条件）を比較した結果、告白を拒否された場合の不快感情は期待高条件が期待低条件よりも高かったが、次への意欲も前者が後者より高かった。また、告白を失敗した原因を努力帰属する程度は、期待低条件が高条件よりも高かった。さらに、期待高条件では、男女ともに、魅力不足に失敗原因を帰属することで、次回への意欲が低下することが明らかになった。そして、男子では期待高条件で随伴経験と努力帰属の間に正の相関、女子では期待低条件で随伴経験とタイミング帰属の間に正の相関が見られ、随伴経験と原因帰属の関係における性差が示された。departmental bulletin pape

No full text1998年に滋賀県で始まった菜の花プロジェクトは、2002年奈良県にも導入され、その後県内各地で取り組まれていった。組織的な取り組みが2019年現在まで継続されてきた奈良市、桜井市、葛城市では、非営利団体が学校等での教育実践を支援し、また、ナタネ油を地域の寺社に奉納している学校等が多い。奈良市立の3小学校と2幼稚園で菜の花プロジェクトに取り組んでいる中で、鼓阪北小学校と六条幼稚園における取り組みを具体的に検討した結果、学校・園と地域が一体となって取り組み、体験学習としての成果や世界遺産学習としての意義を見い出すことができた。departmental bulletin pape
A Study on Multilingual Activities Originated by a Primary School Teacher in Japan: From a Viewpoint of Plurilingualism and Language Awareness
No full textThis paper deals with a practice of multilingual activities in a Japanese primary school, which has been designed and implemented by an in-service teacher in Nara, one of the tourist sites in Japan. He has let his students, for example, make multilingual interviews with tourists from abroad, perform multilingual Manzai (stand-up comedy) and public speaking. This practice is extremely rare in the Japanese context, where English is almost exclusively designated as the foreign language at school.The primary purpose of this paper is to demonstrate that this practice can be identified as a realization of language education for plurilingualism and language awareness, in that the students were approaching and achieving the goals of plurilingual education and language awareness through the activities. The outcomes of the practice were clarified by an analysis of the curriculum and their reflection by text mining. The secondary purpose is to discuss teachers’ experiences, awareness of their own linguistic competences and the professional competence for practicing multilingual activities. Profiling of the teachers’ experiences and competences enabled us to infer that the teacher who tackled multilingual activities would have complicated and diverse language experiences, perception of his own plurilingual competence, and the professional competence to make use of intercultural materials including parents and others, according to children’s needs.departmental bulletin pape
