University Students' Perceptions of Education in Remote Areas and Small Schools and Guidance:From Results of the Awareness Survey Questionnaire for Students of Nara University of Education and the situation of the “Education for Remote Areas and Regional Development Program”
No full text教員養成系大学に通う大学生がへき地に対してどのようなイメージをもつのか、奈良教育大学の学生を対象としたアンケート調査を実施し、へき地・小規模校教育に理解や関心がない学生の回答を中心に分析した。そこでは消極的なイメージが多い中で積極的なイメージも見られた。この積極的なイメージを生かしつつ、消極的なイメージに対する価値観の変容を促す指導が求められる。また、へき地・小規模校へ勤務することに対する不安の調査では「生活環境の変化」を挙げる学生が多数いた。教員養成において、学生が抱くへき地・小規模校で勤務することへの不安を把握し、その不安を解消する手立てを講じることが重要である。以上のようなアンケート結果と考察を踏まえて、教員を目指す学生のへき地・小規模校教育への関心や理解を高め、赴任を希望する学生の増加、さらには奈良教育大学の「へき地教育・地域創生プログラム」の活性化を目指す。departmental bulletin pape
A Study of Practical cases of Support for School Attendance:Through the Examinaton of Practical Cases of Support in Video Teaching Material
No full text本研究は, 令和５年に奈良教育大学において筆者らが作成した教員向けの不登校支援のコンテンツ動画教材にある７つの実践を事例として不登校支援のありかたについて分析的に記述した。さらに別室機能についての本間（2006）の「存在―自己愛の場」と「遂行―自尊心の場」の観点から考察を行った。その結果, 多くの実践で支援者のかかわりによって2 つの機能を移行させながら, 児童生徒の自己決定や自律を促すあり方が見てとれた。また校内にある別室と通常学級での異なる文化を共存させ, 繋げるための連携の工夫や理念・目標の伝達の意義についても言及され, 不登校支援を通して多様性を受け入れる風土を育む意義について示唆された。departmental bulletin pape

A Historical Study on the Development and Education of Children with Progressive Muscular Dystrophy : Focusing on Life and Education in the Muscular Dystrophy Ward at the National Sanatorium Utano Hospital (Part 1)
No full textThis paper examines policy measures implemented for children with progressive muscular dystrophy from the late 1960s through the 1970s, with particular attention to the establishment of muscular dystrophy wards in national sanatoria. It traces these developments while focusing on the Kansai region, where in-hospital classes were introduced for children with muscular dystrophy. In particular, the study elucidates the process by which specialized classes for muscular dystrophy were established within the in-hospital educational programs of Kyoto Municipal Omuro Elementary School and Narabigaoka Junior High School, following the inauguration of the muscular dystrophy ward at the National Sanatorium Utano Hospital. Furthermore, it explores the conditions of disability, mental development, and psychological characteristics of the students enrolled in these in-hospital and muscular dystrophy-specific classes at Utano Hospital. The findings indicate that the intellectual development of children with congenital muscular dystrophy—who are typically classified as having severe disabilities— necessitated the establishment of special education classes within the in-hospital schooling system. Additionally, intelligence testing revealed developmental challenges in abstract thinking among students with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.departmental bulletin pape
Toward the Implementation of Neo-Endogenous Development in Rural Areas : From the Cases of Challenge of the Most Beautiful Villages in Japan, a Non-profit Organization
No full textThis study clarifies the background that led to the decline of Japan's rural villages and presents a new way of regional development through cooperation between cities and rural areas. The subject of the study is “The Most Beautiful Villages in Japan“ that has been working on endogenous development ahead of the rest of Japan. The results showed that, first, cities and rural areas can establish complementary relationships based on the norm of reciprocity by establishing specific themes in common. Secondly, it is important to fully understand the individual characteristics of strong and weak ties, and to build a resilient system in which they can function simultaneously. Significance of Using the PCAGIP method in Case Study Workshop for Teachers
No full textAccording to the Student Guidance Proposal (2022), preventive and developmental student guidance by teachers is emphasized in educational consultation. There is a need to improve teachers’ competence in educational consultation. This study discusses a case study session using the PCAGIP method (Murayama and Nakata, 2012). First, we examined how the PCAGIP method is performed, and specific examples. Next, the characteristics of the PCAGIP method are discussed from two perspectives: (1) the structure of the PCAGIP method and (2) the theory of the person-centered approach (PCA). Changes in butterfly fauna in Mt. Kasuga, Mt. Takamado and Nara University of Education and their influencing factors
No full text奈良公園のニホンジカは高密度で棲息している。また、餌条件が悪いことも知られている。当該条件下でのメスの繁殖特性について分析した。齢査定した239頭のうち、妊娠個体は1歳で4.3%、2歳で55.8%、3歳以降の数年は約60%で推移していた。胎子の性比はほぼ1:1で、149例中、双胎は1例であった。胎子の体重から、受胎日は9月から12月、出生日は5月から9月と推定された。2月から4月のメスの体重から、50％妊娠確率体重は35.1 kg、50%妊娠確率腎脂肪指数はライニー腎脂肪指数で19.3と推定された。奈良公園のシカ個体群は妊娠開始の遅れから低質個体群と判断されたが、受胎日や出産期は他地域と大きな違いはなかった。Sika deer, Cervus nippon, in Nara Park live in high density. They are also known to have poor feeding conditions. We analyzed the reproductive traits of female sika deer under these conditions. Of the 239 individuals investigated, age specific pregnancy rate was 4.3% at age 1, 58.8% at age 2, and approximately 60% at age 3 or older. The sex ratio of fetuses was almost 1:1, and one twin pregnancy out of 149. The date of conception was estimated to be from September to December based on the weight of the fetus, and calving from May to September. The 50% pregnancy probability weight was estimated to be 35.1 kg based on the weight of the female from February to April, and the 50% pregnancy probability kidney fat index was estimated to be 19.3 for Riney’s kidney fat index. The deer population in Nara Park was determined to be a low performance population due to the delayed onset of pregnancy, but conception dates and calving seasons were not largely different from those in other areas.departmental bulletin pape
A Practical Study on Learning Activities Using Real-Life and Real-World Phenomena in Inquiry-Based Learning with ICT
No full text本研究は、奈良県立奈良高等学校第２学年の生徒を対象に、BYOD 端末を用いたICT を活用した教育活動が、日常の事象を扱った教材を用いた探究型学習に対してどのような効果があるかを明らかにすることを目的とした。先行研究を参考に、数学的探究モデルに沿った授業を設計し、探究活動を実施した。質問紙調査とドキュメント分析の結果、生徒は未知の課題に意欲的に取り組み、その過程を振り返ることを重要視していることがわかった。また、既習の内容を活用し問題解決につなげることの必要性を感じつつも、探究活動を通して、数学が実生活で役立つという意識が高まり、ICT の活用は生徒の知的好奇心を刺激し、探究活動を促進する効果があることが示された。なお、未知の課題に取り組む必要性や課題への見通しを持った取り組み、問題を解いた過程の振り返り等に関しては、ICT を活用した教育活動との関連について慎重に判断する必要がある。departmental bulletin pape
