No full text奈良県十津川村と北海道の新十津川町は、遠く離れていても密な交流を保っている。1889年に発生した十津川大水害に伴う集団移住を契機とする「母子の村」の縁が、130年の長きにわたり続いている。本研究では、十津川村と新十津川町の交流の履歴について、第二次世界大戦後を中心に概要を把握し整理した。その結果、両地域の交流の歩みは、特徴や状況の異なる4つの時期に区分できることが明らかになった。また、交流は地方自治体どうしにとどまらず、民間団体や学校教育へと広がりを見せており、このことが両地域間の交流の持続可能性を高めている。departmental bulletin pape
Development of Temperature-Variable Flow Electron Spin Resonance Measurement for Sensitive Detection of Short-Lived Unstable Radicals and Its Application to Reaction Kinetics
No full textNovel flow measurement system for electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy under variable temperature conditions has been developed. ESR spectroscopy has been applied for direct detection of initiating and propagating radicals during actual radical polymerizations in our research group. Chain initiating and propagating radicals of styrenes, dienes, (meth) acrylates, vinyl esters were clearly observed by both steady-state (SS) and time-resolved (TR) ESR spectroscopy. On the other hand, measurements of these radicals of nitrogen containing monomers like vinyl carbazole, N-vinyl pyrrolidone, and (meth) acrylamides have been very difficult or even impossible probably due to the fast relaxation of nitrogen nuclei. In order to improve the sensitivity of the ESR measurements, the novel flow system was developed. The developed system can conduct under various temperatures. Control of the temperature was excellent. Using the novel apparatus, TR ESR spectra of N-tertbutyl methacrylamide has been successful under various temperatures. Community Education in Taiwan under the Japanese Government：Focusing on materials held by Tainan University
No full textThis article presents a new perspective on community education in Taiwan under the Japanese government. This study focused on analyzing the case of Tainan Normal School in the 1930s. The conclusions of this article are as follows: ①The Japanese learned more about Taiwan through community education. Moreover, the Taiwanese were restrained from forming their identities through community education and thus fostered patriotism through assimilation. ②Geography was a central part of the study in community education, and the“ New Taiwan Geographical Overview” consisted of two parts: i) physiographic content that incorporated the latest geographic research results and ii) human geographic content on Taiwan as a Japanese colony. ③The community education at Tainan Normal School focued on geography, history, and education.departmental bulletin pape

As developmental theorists highlight, a goal of moral education lies in developing the ability to make logical judgments about the rightness or wrongness of actions amid new situations, or to develop rational decision-makers with such abilities. However, as clarification approaches have accentuated, moral education primarily aims to provide an opportunity to cultivate a certain kind of character. To this end, it is important to consider one’s own emotions that are inspired by each situation and one’s own experiences affecting their emotions. Administrative difficulties confronting vice-principals in guiding students through special classes at high schools: A retrospective analysis based on survey results.
No full textThis study aimed to elucidate the types of difficulties being confronted by public school administrators, especially vice- principals, according to the system implemented in high schools in 2018. The current system requires administrators to guide students through class distribution. A survey comprising two types of multiple-choice questions was administered to high school teachers nationwide in 2011. The teachers were also asked two open-ended questions originally established for this study. They were further questioned about problems and were invited to seek clarifications. The questionnaire items on types of selection yielded the following four features: business, shortage of supporters, lack of understanding and cooperation from protectors, and unfamiliar support methods. No significant changes were found compared to 2011 apropos the inadequate knowledge evinced by teachers and staff members. Around 10% of students required additional support despite recent advances in discussions within schools. Further, answers to the free description questions revealed problems such as lack of space for teachers, paucity of knowledge, absence of cooperation within and outside schools, and the need for assistance after students entered high school. Teachers desired awareness of specific methods support suited to their students, assessments, achieving cooperation within and outside the school, and offering better support to parents. High schools in which more than 21% of the students needed support faced the common problem of deficiencies in parental understanding. The difficulties confronting administrators were examined in view of the above outcomes to seek an ideal way of ensuring cooperation within and outside schools and to suggest a model apt to the context of aiding guardians. The insights offered by this study can help schools institute programs that allow them to confront prospective challenges with foresight, from the elementary and junior high school stages.departmental bulletin pape
A Research Trend on the Use of Advanced Technology to Visualize Teaching Behavior
No full text教師を目指す学生や現職教師の教授行動を視覚化し、分析や振り返りの機会を設け、それを育て磨くことに貢献するために、様々な技術が開発され運用評価され、関連研究が積み上げられてきている。本論は、その研究動向をレビューすることを目的とした。結果として、1) 教師の教授行動を見取ることと関わって、有効性を持つ技術自体の「イノベーション」を考え、開発を進めようとする研究と、2) 使える技術、開発された技術を用いて、視覚化、身体感覚等の精度を上げ、教師を目指す学生や現職の教師の深い省察を促し、教授行動自体の意識化のイノベーションを試みる方法を明らかにしようとする研究、に多くの関心が向けられていることがわかった。departmental bulletin pape

An Educational Practice Report on Graduate School Course “Contemporary Approaches to Lesson Development”: Focusing on “Flying”, a Teaching Material for Third-year High School Students
No full text英語教育における文学教材の指導法について、高校3年生用教材“Flying”を例に取って考察を行った。最初に日英対照のパワーポイントの教材を作成し、通訳技能開発の教授法を用いて指導した。これによって大学院生は大まかな物語の内容を掴むと共に、作品内に一定の「矛盾」が埋め込まれていることについて理解することができた。次に、ブレインストーミング的に受講生に、その「矛盾」をどう読み解くのかついて意見を言わせた。様々な意見を言わせる中で、一定の解釈の方向に彼らを導くことができた。さらに、学生たちに文学作品の読解には、生徒をして読みの行為に参加させることが必要であることを理解させた。意味創造に参画する形で指導を行い、高校の教育現場でも生徒に作品について意見を言わせることにより、コミュニケーション指導に文学作品を応用する方法を修得させた。departmental bulletin pape
"Artistic activities" as spiritual growth and self-care: A Reflection Through Play in "Art as Therapy"
No full text「アート活動」そのものの効用を知り、さまざまな教育・福祉現場等でこころの成長やセルフケアにつなげるための要素として、「アート活動」の治療機序としての「アートアズセラピー」的な視点を持つことの重要性を考察した。「アートアズセラピー」の要素の中でも特に、「遊ぶこと」へ焦点化し、教員やスクールカウンセラーなどの様々な立場の支援者を募って、同テーマに関するオンラインセミナーを開催した。セミナー後のアンケート調査で得た内省報告の分類を試みて検証を行った結果「遊ぶこと」の意義を伝えることで、「アート活動」がこころへのアプローチとして可能性を持つことが指摘された。支援者が、「アート活動」の提供者となる場合において、「遊ぶこと」の重要性を知識とともに実際の創作体験を通して実感する必要性が示唆され、このような実際の創作体験が、「アート活動」を「アートアズセラピー」として認識することに繋がると考えられる。departmental bulletin pape
