What Factors Fluctuate Japanese EFL Speakers’ willingness to Communicate? Examining the very Moment of the Fluctuation
No full textThe dynamic and multifaceted nature of willingness to communicate (WTC) plays a critical part in second or foreign language acquisition, as it varies throughout the course of communicative interactions. Sato (2023) conducted a comprehensive examination of the high and low WTC and the underlying reasons that contribute to high or low WTC during English language learner utterances. Although this seminal investigation successfully elucidated the reasons behind both high and low WTC, it did not delve into the factors influencing the fluctuations between these two extremes. To address this gap, the present study undertook a reanalysis of the data collected by Sato (2023) in order to scrutinize the specific very moments when these fluctuations occurred and to identify the factors behind them. Upon conducting this in-depth investigation, distinctions were observed between the reasons for high WTC recorded in Sato (2023) and the factors that caused high WTC (current study). However, there was no difference in the case of low WTC. The findings from the current resarch provide more insightful implications for enhancing students' WTC in the classroom setting, thereby offering valuable guidance to teachers aiming to foster an environment conducive to optimal language learning and development.departmental bulletin pape

No full text本稿は、沢野井信夫（1916-1990）の美術教育の構想に関する継続研究の一報である。沢野井は学校教育に直接関わった人物ではないが、一連の「あそび」著作は、自らの芸術体験をふまえた美術教育の構想と捉えることができる。本稿では、これまでの成果をふまえて沢野井の美術教育構想を考察するために、その著作である『版画のいろいろ- 版画あそび』（1960 年）の内容分析を行った。『版画のいろいろ』の内容構成は、前稿で分析した『新しい絵あそび』に比べて具体的な「題材」の占める割合が下がっていたが、これは版画に欠かせない技法や用具に関する内容があるためであった。しかし、内容や挿入画像から判断すると、『新しい絵あそび』と重なる内容が多く、その趣旨も継承されていることを確認した。また「題材」では、「つくった版を手や足などで押す」スタンプタイプの版画が全体の1/4 を、「型紙を作り上から絵の具をつけるタイプ」の版画が全体の1/5 を、それぞれ占めた。子供にとって取り組みやすい材料や内容を中核においていることを確認した。departmental bulletin pape
A Study on Judging by Referees in Handball：Focusing on Manipulative Judgment
No full textThe purpose of this study is to clarify "the existence of intentional misjudgment" and "the actual situation of manipulative judgment and the situations in which they can occur" in handball competition by conducting an interview survey and a questionnaire survey of referees certified by the Japan Handball Association. In this
study, "intentional misjudgment" was defined as a judgment caused by the referee who doesn’t intentionally take a foul even though the referee recognizes the foul. “Manipulative judgement” has two types: type A is a judgment that the referee does not intentionally take a foul even though he / she admits the foul act, or a judgment that the referee lightens the penalties for the foul act; type B is a judgement that the referee intentionally calls a foul despite the fact that he / she admits no foul, or the referee increases the penalty for the foul.
In order to clarify the existence of intentional misjudgment, an interview survey was conducted with three persons who have A-class or B-class referee qualifications officially recognized by the association. In order to clarify the occurrence of manipulative judgement, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 66 people who had
he A, B, C, or D grades of the referee qualifications.
The following findings were obtained:
(1)There are "intended misjudgments" in handball games, and they are used for the purpose of invalidating and reducing the weight of penalties. (2) Manipulative judgment (type A) was confirmed by nearly 70% of the subjects, and they adjusted the adaptation of the rules depending on the situation. It was suggested that the
background of such judgment is the idea of "modern handball" that has been advocated in recent years. Thirty-year changes in trees and shrubs in Nara University of Education: species composition, stem number and basal area
No full text2020 年 2 月から 2020 年 4 月にかけ、奈良教育大学構内 (奈良県奈良市) 約 13 ha に生育する高さ 2 m 以上、胸高直径 1 cm 以上の樹木を調査し、1990 年に同大学構内を対象に行われた公文・北川 (1990a, 1990b) の調査結果と比較した。本調査では、48 科 89 属 140 種 149 分類群 [114種 3 亜種 14 変種 4 品種 14 園芸 (栽培) 品種；便宜上、以下では種以下の分類群を「種」と表記する] の樹木の生育を確認した。確認された個体は 3,340 本、幹数は 5,641 本、胸高断面積は 7.9 m2/ha であった。公文・北川 (1990a, 1990b) の調査時は附属小学校校庭、附属小学校養護学級棟北側、構内南西部のアラカシ Qercus glauca 群生地が調査されておらず、総樹木数は 1,033本、胸高断面積は 3.3 m2/ha であった。公文・北川 (1990a, 1990b) と調査条件を揃えて集計すると、2020 年の総樹木数は 2,736 本、胸高断面積 7.2 m2/ha となり、30 年間で本数は 2.6 倍、胸高断面積は 2.1倍となった。departmental bulletin pape
Development of Teaching Material for electronics using TWELITE
No full text筆者は「電気実験実習」という科目で電子工作を指導している。これまでに電子工作の教材として様々な教材を開発してきた。本稿は「生活の役に立つ電子工作」という観点から、「授業で作ったものが自分の普段の生活に役立つ」という電子工作教材の開発について述べたものである。具体的にTWELITE を用いて1 bit の情報（on/off）を無線伝送する装置を開発した。受信機はon を受信したら音と光でそのことを通知する。送信側のセンサとして「光センサ」「超音波センサ」「人感センサ」を用意し、受講生は自分の生活に役立つものを選択して作成する。2022 年前期の授業において実施したところ、受講生6 人は全員が大きな問題なく、工作物を完成させることができた。departmental bulletin pape
ESD Workshop on Forest Ecosystem for Lower Secondary Students, Utilizing the Biosphere Reserves, Mt. Odaigahara, and its effect
No full text本研究では、ユネスコエコパークである大台ヶ原を利用した森林生態系 ESD ワークショップを行い、学校教育 での大台ヶ原の利用例を提案することを目的とした。また、学習指導要領に示された目標の生徒変容をもとに本ワークショップを評価した。シカによる森林更新阻害が起きている大台ヶ原の状況を理科教育の文脈で解釈してまとめることで、理科教育の複数単元と結びつきがあり、教科教育でも取り入れられる内容が多いことが分かった。また、ESD ルー ブリックを活用し、学習前後で学習指導要領の目標である「学びに向かう力・人間性」の「自己肯定感」や「知識・技能」 の「ESD の知識」の観点が変容したことから、本ワークショップは「自己肯定感」や「ESD の知識」を獲得できる活動であったことが分かった。奈良県で ESD を推進していくためには、ESD の理念と関連性の大きいユネスコエコパー ク大台ヶ原の利用も候補となるだろう。departmental bulletin pape
