Development of a Child’s Reactions Scale When Their Responses Were Seen by Their Teacher Focusing on hiding the responses in math classes to hide mistakes or areas of unclear understanding.
No full textWe aimed to develop a child’s reactions scale when their responses were seen by their teacher. In Study 1, 49 undergraduates participated in the survey to clarify what the reaction would be when their responses were seen by their teacher. The descriptions about the reactions when their responses were seen by their teacher were categorized into 7 categories. Based on the results of Study 1, items for the scale were created. In Study 2, 165 undergraduates participated in the survey to examine the structure of the scale. In addition, 372 elementary school students participated in the survey to exam the validity and reliability of the scale. The results of exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses showed the scale consisted of two factors: behavior of hiding responses and negative emotions. The Cronbach’s alpha coefficient indicated the reliability of the scale in terms of internal consistency. The validity of the scale was examined in relation to mathematical self-efficacy. The results demonstrate that behavior of hiding responses and negative emotions were negatively related to mathematical self-efficacy. These correlation indicated the construct and factor validity of the scale.departmental bulletin pape

A study of Fudō-Myōō of Myōhō-ji Temple, Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture : Focusing on the statue’s style and colored patterns
No full textIn the course of a survey of cultural properties at Myōhō-ji Temple in Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture, conducted by Nara University of Education last year, it was discovered that a standing statue of Fudō-Myōō owned by the temple is an important example of a statue from the Kamakura period (the late 13th century)
that retains all of its original surface finishing, including colors and cut gold patterns. In this report, We outlined the statue and compared it with relevant references and similar examples, focusing on its shape and colored patterns. We also discussed its place in the history of Buddhist sculpture. As a result, it was found that the statue’s shape is similar to those of the Nara Busshi school, and its colored patterns may be closely related to those of the Nanto E-busshi. The statue found in this research is an excellent example of a standing statue of Fudō-Myōō left in Nanto that should be paid attention to in the future.departmental bulletin pape

conducted at four tourist farms, and a text-mining analysis was conducted by organising the word-of-mouth about each farm. As a result, the following conclusions were drawn about the actual situation of tourist farms in Nara Prefecture. 1.Large-scale tourist farms are mainly managed by local communities, while small-scale
farms are mainly managed by individuals. 2.The nearby historical and cultural tourist attractions are also a major feature of the farms. 3.In terms of management methods, the main type of management is a composite management type, and in addition to fruit picking and vegetable harvesting, they also ship to agricultural
cooperatives, run direct sales outlets and cafés. 4. The composition of users shows that they are mainly groups of two or more people, such as family members and friends, with a small number of single users. 5. A Comparative Study of Junior High School Students' Reasons for Choosing Extracurricular Baseball Teams and Local Baseball Club Teams and Their Activities

In this discussion, the problems
with current athletic club activities include the smaller scale of athletic club activities due to a decrease in the number of students, and the long working hours and low professionalism of teachers involved in athletic club activities. Issues such as teachers' long working hours are important, but it is also necessary to consider the
needs of junior high school students, such as whether they are satisfied with the current situation and what kind of club teams they want. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to conduct a questionnaire survey targeting junior high school baseball club members (138 people) and junior high school students participating in local regulation baseball clubs (172 people), compare the reasons for choosing the team and the satisfaction level of each team. Based on these findings, we will make recommendations regarding the transfer of extracurricular sport activities to local communities that reflect the needs of junior high school students.
The main results of the questionnaire survey are as follows. The reasons for choosing extracurricular sport club activities are diverse, and it can be inferred that students choose school club activities as a way to enrich their school life. For those who belonged to local club teams, items related to competitiveness and
aspirations were considered important as reasons for their selection, while quality of coaching and reputation of the team were reasons for their selection. When comparing satisfaction levels, those who belonged to local club teams showed higher values for coaching and goal orientation than those who belonged to school club
activities. The results of this survey revealed that junior high school students' needs for extracurricular sport teams and local club teams are different. If extracurricular sport activities were to move to the local communities, it would be impossible to simply integrate the school club activities and the local club teams, and multiple teams
would be needed within one organization to be able to respond to both needs.departmental bulletin pape
