Intervention of Apartment Developers in the Management of Apartments in Indonesia
The existence of flat is a solution to fulfill the housing needs of citizens considering the limited land to build landed house. Each flat consists of common property, common share, and common land. The management of the flats is carried out by owner corporation, either by forming their own building management or by appointing an external building management. The current problem is the intervention by developer in the management of flats that occurred in several flats in Indonesia. In fact, there several cases regarding the formation of owner corporation that should be facilitated by developers, but have not been carried out consistently and optimally by developers. The intervention by developer in flat management will have potential for privatization and management monopoly, which will be detrimental to flat’s owner. Therefore, the local government and the department of housing should supervise developer’s performance and ensure that developers are aware of and carry out their obligations under the law. To examine this problem, I apply normative juridical methods with qualitative analysis techniques. I also use several approaches in conducting the analysis, such as case approach, conceptual approach, and statute approach
Development of Islamic-Based Sex Education Module for Students
Article entitled Development of Islamic-Based Sex Education Module for Students at SMP IT Madani Payakumbuh, by Yuliana NIM 20122014. Juridical Evaluation of Articles 112 and 127 of Law Number 35 of 2009 Concerning Narcotics
This study aims to evaluate the application of Articles 112 and 127 in Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and analyze judges' considerations in the application of law and evidence in cases recorded in Decision Number: 154/Pid.Sus/2023/PN.Bnj and Decision Number: 294/Pid.Sus/2023/PN.Bnj. This research uses qualitative research methods with a normative juridical approach and case studies. The results of the study show that the application of Article 112 often does not distinguish between users and drug dealers, so that drug users are often sentenced to heavier penalties even if they are not involved in narcotics trafficking. Meanwhile, Article 127 which provides space for rehabilitation has not been consistently applied by judges in handling cases of narcotics users. Analysis of the two decisions shows that there are inconsistencies in the use of Articles 112 and 127, which have implications for justice for perpetrators of narcotics crimes. Therefore, it is recommended that judges consider the rehabilitation factor for drug users more and not only focus on prison sentences. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a fairer and more humane narcotics law policy in Indonesia
Influence of Financial Performance, Board Size, and Audit Committee on Sharia Profit Management
Investment interest in the Indonesian capital market continues to experience significant growth, reaching 9,540,027 investors in August 2022, an increase compared to the previous year. Data shows that Indonesia's stock market capitalization ranks 27th in the world with a value reaching 9,300 trillion in the same year. The growth of the stock market is also reflected in the increase in the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) by 5.02% and the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) which grew by 6.02% in June 2022. The study utilizes a quantitative approach, analyzing data from Sharia companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) over the period 2021-2023. Findings reveal that financial performance significantly influences earnings management, with larger board sizes showing a smaller positive impact, while larger audit committees have a negative impact on earnings management
Integration of Ontology in Marketing Management Decisions: A Systematic Literature Review
This study aims to determine the role of ontology in determining marketing management decisions Design/ methodology/ approach - This study uses the SLR method to collect articles related to ontology in marketing management published between 2019 and 2024. This researcher uses Mendeley software. Of the 558 articles that were netted according to the keywords, exclusion was carried out according to the criteria that had been prepared, only 6 articles were considered and extracted. Findings – Ontology in marketing management decisions is used as a framework for managers to define their marketing strategies. Managers use the knowledge they already have with current market demand or trends. It can be said that in deciding on a marketing strategy, it takes things from within the manager, such as the manager's understanding and emotions, and things outside the self, namely market demand. In determining a decision, managers do not consider emotions but rational data. However, managers must still have the understanding and knowledge to be able to think about appropriate marketing strategies and be able to achieve organizational goals. Limitations/implications of the study – This study only focuses on the general ontology of marketing management, so there are not many articles found. Practical implications – With this research it can be used by marketing managers to consider creating a framework with an ontological foundation to decide on a marketing strategy in their organization. Originality/value – This research is related to the foundation of ontology in marketing management which can be explored more deeply, because there are still limitations in research on this subject
Evaluation of Bureaucratic Simplification Performance: Institutional, Human Resources, and Administrative Practices Analysis in Achieving Good Governance in Indonesia
Bureaucratic reform is a strategic step toward achieving effective and efficient governance. One key focus is simplifying bureaucracy by transitioning structural positions to functional ones, as mandated in Presidential Regulation No. 18 of 2020 on the 2020–2024 RPJMN. This study employs a descriptive method with a literature study approach to analyze the implementation of this policy in institutional, human resources (HR), and administrative management aspects. The analysis highlights three main challenges. First, institutional changes often lead to function duplication and workload misalignment. Second, in the HR aspect, gaps in ASN competency for functional roles persist, alongside negative perceptions of these positions. Third, while digitalization accelerates work processes, ASN performance management remains suboptimal. To address these challenges, a holistic approach is recommended to design adaptive policies that enhance organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability. Bureaucratic reform must remain focused on improving the quality of public services, ensuring governance achieves its ultimate goal
The Role of Semiotics Analysis In Advertisement: Bibliometric Analysis
Semiotic analysis in advertising plays an important role in understanding how signs, symbols and meanings are constructed and received by audiences. With the development of digital technology and social media, an understanding of semiotics is increasingly relevant to examine how brands build identity and create emotional resonance with consumers. This research aims to analyze the development of semiotic studies in advertising using bibliometric methods with VOSviewer. With this approach, scholarly publication patterns can be mapped to identify trends, academic collaborations, as well as key topics in advertising semiotics studies. The method used in this research is a systematic literature review (SLR) combined with PRISMA-based bibliometric analysis. Data were collected from journal articles published between 2014 and 2024, then analyzed using VOSviewer software to map the linkages between concepts. The results show that the study of semiotics in advertising has experienced significant developments in the past decade, with a focus on visual and linguistic representations, mythology in advertising, and multimodality in digital media. Bibliometric network visualization reveals a close correlation between semiotic theory and strategic marketing concepts
