This research discusses the da'wah planning of the Aisyiyah organization in dealing with love scamming victims in Medan City. Love scamming is a form of online fraud that exploits the feelings of victims, especially women, through romance to gain financial gain. This phenomenon is increasingly widespread due to developments in technology and social media. Aisyiyah, as a women's organization under Muhammadiyah, plays an active role in providing education, guidance and legal assistance to victims through lectures, outreach and the establishment of legal aid posts (Posbakum). The main factors that make women vulnerable to love scamming are loneliness, low digital literacy, and lack of supervision when using social media. Challenges faced include the difficulty of victims admitting fraud and limited data on perpetrators. With structured da'wah, Aisyiyah seeks to build women's awareness and resilience towards cybercrime so that they are wiser in interacting in cyberspace

The Role of Digital Communication via X in Increasing Tourist Visits to the Mandalika Area, Central Lombok Regency

Mandalika tourism serves as a key economic driver in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, contributing significantly to regional revenue. To boost tourist arrivals, the local government uses social media, particularly X, as a digital communication platform to promote the destination. This study explores the impact of X-based communication on tourists’ perceptions and decision-making, while also identifying factors that influence the effectiveness of destination promotion. A combination of qualitative and quantitative methods was employed, including a survey of thirty respondents from both within and outside Lombok and a content analysis of tourism-related X posts published between July - December 2024. The survey data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression techniques. Findings demonstrate that X plays a significant role in shaping tourists’ perceptions and increasing awareness of Mandalika. Information relevance and visual content quality emerged as the most influential factors in travel decision-making. However, excessive posting frequency can lead to reduced interest, whereas positive engagement with content increases visitor attraction. Content analysis further reveals high engagement levels, with seventy five percent of posts reflecting positive sentiment and strong support from official accounts and local influencers. The study concludes that X is an effective promotional tool for tourism when supported by relevant, engaging, and data informed communication strategies. These results provide practical insights for tourism stakeholders and policymakers aiming to enhance digital marketing efforts in Mandalika and similar emerging destinations

Traditions of Welcoming Islamic Holidays Case Studyo of the Transformation of the Hagaf Tradition in Gunting Saga, Labuhan Batu Utara, 2000-Present

HaGAF (Happy Aidilfitri Day) is a local cultural heritage of the Gunting Saga Village community, North Labuhanbatu Regency, which has since its inception served as a medium for religious and social expression in celebrating Eid al-Fitr. However, the acceleration of globalization, the penetration of popular culture, and lifestyle changes especially among the younger generation have driven a significant transformation of this tradition. This study aims to analyze the form of HaGAF transformation, identify its driving factors, and examine the role of the local community and government in its preservation. Using a qualitative approach with participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques, this study found that HaGAF has evolved from a traditional, ritual-based celebration into a more inclusive and modern festival, encompassing a music festival, a digital content competition, and an e-sports tournament. Despite this modernization, traditional elements remain intact through the involvement of the younger generation and the promotion of cultural values via social media. The local government plays a crucial role in supporting the sustainability of this tradition by granting permits and securing events. Theoretically, these findings reinforce Clifford Geertz's view that culture is a dynamic system of meaning that is continually reinterpreted according to changing social contexts. On the contrary, these results challenge the structural-functional approach as proposed by Bronislaw Malinowski and Talcott Parsons which tends to see tradition as a stable component in the social system to maintain order, often ignoring the internal adaptation and progress of culture

An Analysis of the Determinant Factors of Poverty and Inequality in Indonesia and Their Implications for Village Development Planning

This study aims to analyze the key determinant factors influencing poverty and inequality, as well as to examine their implications for village development planning. The research adopts a mixed-method approach by integrating robust regression-based quantitative analysis with qualitative literature studies derived from secondary sources. The findings identify five factors that significantly affect inequality: economic growth, the open unemployment rate, the human development index (HDI), the proportion of informal agricultural workers, and fiscal transfers from the central government to regional administrations. Furthermore, six determinant factors are found to influence poverty: economic growth, inequality, the open unemployment rate, the human development index, the proportion of informal agricultural workers, and fiscal transfers from the central government to local governments. As a key implication, the study emphasizes the need to prioritize the allocation of village funds toward programs that directly address the root causes of poverty and inequality. This strategic focus is essential to ensure that rural development planning contributes effectively to social equity and sustainable economic growth at the village level

Vigilante Law Enforcement Eigenrichting Causing Death Through a Criminological Perspective

The phenomenon of vigilantism (eigenrichting) resulting in death reflects a failure in the formal legal system and the rise of revenge practices in society. This research uses a normative juridical method that focuses on the analysis of positive legal norms. Data were collected from various written sources, including legislation, court decisions, legal doctrine, legal theories, and the views of legal experts. The analysis was conducted qualitatively using a descriptive approach to interpret the meaning and information contained in documents, media reports, and newspaper archives. The analysis found that low legal understanding, socio-economic inequality, and a crisis of judicial legitimacy are the main triggers for vigilante behavior. The impacts are clear: loss of life, weakened public trust in legal institutions, and increased social insecurity. Recommendations include transparent and professional law enforcement, early legal education, improving socio-economic conditions, and implementing restorative justice principles to prevent revenge-based violence

Analysis of Budgetary Slack Indications in the Implementation Effectiveness of the Family Hope Program

This study aims to explore the influence of budgetary slack and implementation effectiveness on the success of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Buraen Village, South Amarasi District. The problem of high poverty and unequal distribution of PKH assistance recipients is the main background. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method and involves 84 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The analysis results show that budgetary slack has a positive and significant effect on the success of PKH with a coefficient of 0.677 (p < 0.01), while effectiveness also has a positive effect with a coefficient of 0.202 (p < 0.10). The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.735 indicates that 73.5% of the variation in PKH success can be explained by these two variables. These findings indicate that strategically managed budget flexibility and effective program implementation can increase the social impact of PKH, especially in the education, health, and economic aspects of poor households. Therefore, PKH implementing agents have an important role not only as administrative distributors, but also as adaptive decision makers in addressing the dynamics of local needs

Implementation of the Role of Ankum and Papera in the Process of Resolving Military Cases in the Jurisdiction

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the role of Ankum (Superiors Who Have the Right to Sentence) and Papera (Case Submission Officers) in the process of resolving military crime cases in the jurisdiction of the Medan High Military Court I. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive-analytical methods through in-depth interviews, document studies, and observations. The focus of the research includes three main aspects, namely the case administration process in the military judicial environment, the application of fast, precise, and simple judicial principles after the integration of the one-stop system under the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, and the role of the unitary commander in case resolution. The results of the study show that the case administration process still faces obstacles, especially in terms of the completeness of documents and the accuracy of procedures by Ankum and Papera. Although the one-stop system provides an opportunity to speed up the case process, technological limitations and internal resistance are challenges in the application of the principle of fast, precise, and simple justice. In addition, the role of the unit commander as the initial decision-maker greatly affects the smooth process of resolving cases, even though there is a disparity in the understanding of military law among Ankum. This study recommends increasing legal training for Ankum and Papera, stricter supervision of the implementation of legal procedures, and accelerating the digitalization of the military judicial administration system. Thus, these findings make an important contribution to efforts to improve the military justice system to realize efficiency, transparency, and justice
