Cancel Culture in South Korea's Entertainment Industry: Media Framing through the Lens of Deviance
The media has the power to carry out media framing and the public has the power to believe or not and participate in spreading the results of the media framing or not, which will eventually lead to whether or not a cancel culture happens. The author wants to analyze how Kumparan news articles apply framing to actor Kim Seon Ho's scandalous news which caused him to be exposed to cancel culture, through journalistic analysis with The Sphere of Deviance theory by Daniel Hallin. The author conducted a thematic analysis of 9 articles regarding the actor Kim Seon Ho scandal published by Kumparan in the period of 19 October 2021-22 October 2021 and resulted in 3 divisions of categories: positive (not supporting cancel culture), negative (supporting cancel culture), and neutral. From the 9 news articles that were sampled, after the analysis, the writer produced the following data: 2 articles in the positive category, 1 article in the negative category, and 6 articles in the neutral category. Even though there is no dominant framing in the article published by Kumparan regarding the Kim Seon Ho scandal, it can still be concluded that indeed the media has power through media framing, as well as the public who have power over the information obtained from the media (whether it is the result of media framing or not)
Factors Causing Disparity in Judges' Decisions in Narcotics Cases
This study aims to analyze the factors that cause the disparity in judges' decisions in narcotics cases in Indonesia. The disparity of judges' decisions refers to the difference in the results of decisions between one judge and another in similar cases. The factors that cause this disparity can come from various aspects, both internal and external, that affect the objectivity of the judge in giving the verdict. Some of the factors found include differences in interpretation of the law, the social and cultural background of judges, as well as pressure from the public and the media. In addition, the subjectivity of judges and inconsistency in the application of legal provisions also play a role in creating injustice in the criminal justice system. This study uses a qualitative research method with a literature study approach and interviews with legal practitioners. The results of the study show that the disparity in judges' decisions in narcotics cases can be minimized by having clear standard operating procedures (SOPs), increasing the capacity of judges in understanding narcotics cases, and providing more intensive professional ethics training. The study also suggests the need for tighter supervision of judges' decisions to ensure that every decision taken is in accordance with the principles of justice and applicable law

Cyberbullying is a form of violence committed through electronic contact, either individually or in groups to harm others psychologically. This study examines the psychosocial factors behind the phenomenon of cyberbullying from the perspective of victims, perpetrators, and both victims and perpetrators, namely social anxiety, general belongingness, and social connectedness. Data were collected from 377 students aged 16-18 years by the use of purposive random sampling. All measuring instruments used were translated into Indonesian Language by a sworn translator, and the validity and reliability were tested. The results of data testing using hierarchical multiple regression show that psychosocial factors like general belongingness, social anxiety and social connectedness partially influence cyberbullying with the biggest role coming from general belongingness in a negative direction. Meanwhile, the results of simultaneous testing show that the role of social connectedness is not visible because it is dominated by general belongingness and social anxiety. The findings of the test using support vector machine (SVM-AI) clearly show that cyberbullying is a real phenomenon among teenagers. The psychosocial factors behind the phenomenon of cyberbullying are primarily driven by individual needs which not only require connectedness that meets the need for affiliation, but also relationships based on trust and care
