Aplikacje mobilne nie muszą służyć wyłącznie rozrywce – obecnie coraz więcej małych, średnich i dużych przedsiębiorstw korzysta z nich w celu ułatwienia sobie pracy i budowania relacji z klientami. Achieving the desired success by each entrepreneur is possible thanks to the use of basic management functions, which are: planning, organizing, coordinating and motivating. Nowadays, despite the increasing requirements of customers and employees, it may be helpful to use not only new technologies understood as modern machines on production lines, devices for performing treatments, but also mobile applications available for smartphones that we all use. Mobile applications do not have to be used only for entertainment purposes, nowadays more and more small, medium and large enterprises use mobile applications to facilitate their work and create relationships with customers. Creating your own application is often associated with very high costs, which cannot be afforded by enterprises from the SME sector, and low efficiency. The most common disadvantage of such an application is also the lack of integration with other systems, which now gives a competitive advantage. There are many types of software on the mobile application market that can be used for a subscription that allows you to modify a given program to the required preferences of the company. Mobile applications are becoming the basic tool that facilitates not only business management, but also customer relationship managemen

RNN-based Phase Unwrapping for Enabling Vital Parameter Monitoring with FMCW Radars

    No full text
Application of radar technology enables remote breathing and heart rate monitoring by analyzing motion waveforms, which are reconstructed from phase signals extracted from radar-delivered data. However, nonlinear deformations introduced by phase recovery procedure make accurate motion reconstruction highly challenging, especially for millimeter-long waves that are commonly generated by state-of-the-art radar devices. In the presented paper we show that a GRU-based neural predictor is capable of correct phase unwrapping under presence of noise (originating e.g. from random subject’s movements), enabling vital parameter monitoring in realistic scenarios, which cannot be accomplished using standard approaches

Differences of breakfast Spatial Distribution in Real and Virtual Space: An empirical study in the central city of Beijing

    No full text
The breakfast service is an important part of local vitality which are traditionally provided by restaurants and street vendors in real space. The booming virtual economy and delivery service provide alternative type. With the outbreak of COVID-19, both the temporary lock-down of many streets and the reduction of travelling have great impact on breakfast service at the beginning of 2020. During this epidemic period, what kind of breakfast service suffers more, if the location matters, these became interesting questions. This paper presents a comparative study on the central city area of Beijing before and after the impact of Covid19. Based on two site surveys in 2019 July and 2020 September, over 3000 breakfast service are mapped in 6 categories in real space. Cell phone data of 2018 and 2020 are also used to provide other factors such as employment/residential densities and distances of commuting. Additionally, social media data of breakfast distribution from Dazhongdianping.com are collected to study how service in real and virtual space overlap. In general, it can be found that the space with dominant accessibility has stronger resilience. Breakfast services in an advantageous position are more likely to expand new opportunities through the network platform in virtual space

Research on the resilience assessment method of urban form based on‘resolution’

    No full text
In his seminal work, Conzen recognized that the evolution of different morphological types of towns has different persistence, which reflects a certain resilience characteristic of the physical environment in response to the pressure of change. With the continuous progress of urban resilience research, scholars begin to combine typo-morphology theory with resilience theory. On the one hand, the typo-morphology method has great potential in assessing urban form resilience. On the other hand, there is a need to combine typo-morphological methods and resilience assessment to promote urban form practice. Based on the concept of ‘resolution’, this paper discusses the methodology of urban form resilience assessment. Firstly, it discusses the operability of urban resilience and the development of the concept of urban form resilience. Besides, combined with the current research works on urban form resilience, it proposes the construction of the ‘resilience assessment unit’ and its four levels: plot combination unit, block unit, urban area and urban unit are expounded, including Spatial characteristics and assessment contents

Multi-task Learning for Classification, Segmentation, Reconstruction, and Detection on Chest CT Scans

    No full text
Lung cancer and COVID-19 have one of the highest morbidity and mortality rates in the world. For physicians, the identification of lesions is difficult in the early stages of the disease and time-consuming. Therefore, multi-task learning is an approach to extracting important features, such as lesions, from small amounts of medical data because it learns to generalize better. We propose a novel multi-task framework for classification, segmentation, reconstruction, and detection. To the best of our knowledge, we are the first ones who added detection to the multi-task solution. Additionally, we checked the possibility of using two different backbones and different loss functions in the segmentation task
