Design of a tool to improve the non-compliance process in manufacturing plant
Prowadzenie analizy procesów pod kątem niezgodności umożliwia przedsiębiorstwu
ciągłe doskonalenie. Zbudowanie narzędzia w zakresie eliminacji
niezgodności umożliwiającego kontrolę nad realizacją działań zapobiegawczych
i akwizycję danych jest więc działaniem koniecznym. W literaturze przedmiotu
mało jest przykładów pokazujących praktyczne zastosowanie metod Ishikawy,
Pareto-Lorenza czy FMEA oraz stworzonych na ich podstawie narzędzi
w zakładach produkcyjnych w celu usprawnienia procesu sterowania. Celem
przedstawionych rozważań jest analiza procesu kontroli niezgodności w badanym
zakładzie produkcyjnym, wskazanie przyczyn generujących największą liczbę
zarejestrowanych niezgodności oraz zaprojektowanie narzędzia pozwalającego
usprawnić dany proces i zminimalizować występowanie wad. W tym celu
przedstawiono możliwości zastosowania metody Ishikawy, Pareto-Lorenza oraz
FMEA.Conducting an analysis of processes in terms of nonconformities enables the
enterprise to continuously improve. Construction of a tool in the scope of elimination
of nonconformities enabling control over the implementation of preventive actions
and data acquisition is, therefore, a necessary action. In literature, there is a lack of
examples showing practical use of Ishikawa, Pareto-Lorenz, or FMEA methods
and tools created on their basis in production plants in order to improve the control
process.
The aim of the presented considerations is to analyse the process of controlling
nonconformities in a studied production plant, to indicate the causes generating
the largest number of registered nonconformities, and to design a tool allowing to
improve a given process and minimize the occurrence of defects. For this purpose,
the possibilities of implementing the Ishikawa, Pareto-Lorenz, and FMEA methods
are presented

Towards Detection of Unknown Polymorphic Patterns Using Prior Knowledge
The presented paper proposes a novel approach for detecting unknown
polymorphic patterns in sequences composed of random symbols and
of known polymorphic patterns. We propose to represent rules that drive
pattern generation as regular expressions. To detect unknown patterns, we
first incorporate knowledge on known rules into a Convolutional Autoencoder
(CAE), then we train the CAE with additional objective to prevent
weights from learning the already known patterns. Analysis of training results
provides statistically significant information on presence or absence of
polymorphic patterns that were not previously known
Balancing the Quality of Public Good within the Dynamics of Urban Form. Experiences from the redevelopment of residential areas in Bulgaria
The escalating speed of economic and technological development since the beginning of the 21st century is evident in the transformations of urban form and tissue worldwide taking the forms of both land-take and densification. The drivers behind these processes in Bulgaria have been the dynamics of political and economic contexts and the rearrangements of the legal framework since the fall of the Iron curtain. Being one of the most significant changes in spatial planning, the reframed balance between public and private has dominated the redevelopment and restructuring of urban tissue in Bulgaria for the last three decades. This paper relates the quality of public good in residential areas to their morphological characteristics through a diachronic comparative study of the development of two generic forms of residential areas in Bulgaria – the traditional housing neighbourhoods from the first half of the 20th century and the mass housing residential areas, called complexes, from the second half. It reflects on the morphological and structural changes from the perspective of quality of living and public good and evaluates the flexibility and adaptability of the typologies. It finally outlines the key relations between national context and city management that shape the streetscapes of the neighbourhoods
Strategies to enhance the competitiveness of the city by realization of publicness
As the world's economy becomes increasingly globalized, cities compete for people, capital and jobs with other areas. It is empirically known that the ‘realization of publicness’ is critical to enhancing a city's competitiveness. There are many actors in implementing publicness and here the local government and corporations are the key actors. Many actors are in play, including local governments and private corporations, creating the edges of public space towards value creation. This paper attempts to analyse the physical asset of public spaces in the Seoul metropolitan area, where many jobs have been created
Combined Accessibility Index for Public Transport Networks The case of Donostia / San Sebastián
One of the greatest challenges of the contemporary city in the context of energy transformation is that of sustainable mobility. The issue is marked by the dichotomy between the city centre and its periphery and also by the social class conditions, and it is at the centre of the current local political agendas. The article focuses on a mobility project that the authors carried out: the bus network redesign proposal for Donostia / San Sebastián, as a result of the study of its public transport service coverage. The paper introduces the concept of CAI, Combined Accessibility Index, which we used as an indicator for different simulations during the network redesign process. It also aims to illustrate the opportunities that data analysis, visualisation, or simulation methodologies offer in the field of sustainable mobility among others
Anonymizer for Polish Language
Researchers and enterprises require anonymization of unstructured
text. This is not only due to the GDPR regulation, but also due to
the increasing use of large language models (LLMs) such as GPT-3, where
there is growing concern about the privacy and security risks associated
with these models. The texts to be processed by such models need to be
anonymized beforehand, and very often they need to be anonymized at the
data providers’ premises rather than at the machine learning teams. In this
paper, we present an effective anonymization pipeline for Polish. It provides
a modular and configurable solution that employs different modes, including
the challenging pseudo-anonymization mode in languages with complex inflectional
systems. The system can be easily integrated with existing systems
and deployed in different environments using a microservices architecture
solution with a REST interface
Machine Learning for Water Leak Detection and Localization in the WaterPrime Project
We present an integrated approach for water leak detection and localization
developed for the WaterPrime project. Proposed method is based
on telemetric monitoring of a District Metered Areas (DMA), using first an
application of anomaly detection on sensors’ data and then building a ‘digital
twin’ of a DMA state using a combination of hydraulic simulator and
machine learning algorithms. This approach leads to reduction of time of
leak location estimation from the order of weeks/months to days, and provides
a significant reduction in quantity of water lost, as was preliminary
verified in two waterworks associated with the project
