Demandeurs d’asile : options pour un accès plus équitable aux soins de santé. Une consultation des stakeholders
43 p.ill.,Tout migrant qui arrive sur le sol belge et y demande l’asile reçoit automatiquement un accès aux soins de santé pendant le temps que durent les procédures. Or plusieurs rapports belges et internationaux ont souligné que l’accès à ces soins n’est pas égal pour tous les demandeurs d’asile. Il a été demandé au Centre fédéral d’Expertise des Soins de Santé (KCE) de proposer des pistes pour remédier à cette situation, qui met la Belgique en porte-à-faux avec les traités internationaux qu’elle a signés. L’essentiel du problème réside dans le fait que le financement de ces soins de santé dépend d’instances différentes selon que le demandeur d’asile est hébergé dans un centre d’accueil collectif ou dans une Initiative locale d’accueil gérée par un CPAS. Le KCE propose de simplifier l’organisation de l’accès aux soins en intégrant tout dans une même enveloppe globale. Qui va gérer cette enveloppe ? Chlamydia, gonorrhée et syphilis sont en tête du peloton, et deviennent de plus en plus difficiles à traiter en raison de leur résistance croissante aux antibiotiques. Le Centre fédéral d’Expertise des Soins de santé (KCE) a développé, en collaboration avec des praticiens de terrain, des scientifiques et des associations de patients, le premier guide de pratique clinique belge sur le diagnostic et le traitement de la gonorrhée et de la syphilis. Diagnose en aanpak van gonorroe en syfilis : Synthese
38 p.ill.,Het aantal gevallen van seksueel overdraagbare infecties (SOI’s) neemt in België, net als in de rest van de wereld, onrustwekkend toe. Chlamydia, gonorroe en syfilis zijn daarbij de sterkste stijgers. Door de toenemende antibioticaresistentie wordt het ook steeds moeilijker om ze te behandelen. In samenwerking met clinici, wetenschappers en patiëntenverenigingen ontwikkelde het Federaal Kenniscentrum voor de Gezondheidszorg (KCE) de eerste wetenschappelijke Belgische richtlijn voor de diagnose en behandeling van gonorroe en syfilis, een primeur voor ons land. De richtlijn, vooral bestemd voor huisartsen, moet ervoor zorgen dat de opsporing en aanpak van deze infecties op een uniforme, wetenschappelijk onderbouwde manier gebeurt. Kwaliteitsindicatoren voor de aanpak van hoofd- en halskanker : Synthese
28 p.ill.,In België nemen het Federaal Kenniscentrum voor de Gezondheidszorg (KCE), het Kankerregister en het College voor Oncologie al een aantal jaren initiatieven om de zorgkwaliteit voor kankerpatiënten te verbeteren. Deze keer werd de zorg voor mensen met hoofd- en halskanker onder de loep genomen. Het KCE stelde samen met klinische experten een set van kwaliteitsindicatoren en te behalen doelstellingen op, en evalueerde aan de hand daarvan de zorg die in de Belgische ziekenhuizen wordt aangeboden. Opnieuw stelde het KCE vast dat de kans op overleving significant groter is in ziekenhuizen die jaarlijks meer dan 20 patiënten met hoofd- en halskanker verzorgen.
