EL ESTUDIO DE CASOS COMO ESTRATEGIA DIDACTICA EN LA CARRERA DE ADMINISTRACI 3N P aBLICA DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE COSTA RICA
Get PDFEl presente documento expone una experiencia basada en la aplicaci\uf3n del estudio de casos, como estrategia did\ue1ctica para impartir el M\uf3dulo "Dise\uf1o Organizativo para la Prestaci\uf3n de Servicios P\ufablicos", perteneciente a la carrera Administraci\uf3n P\ufablica, de la Universidad de Costa Rica. El objetivo general del trabajo consisti\uf3 en aplicar y evaluar la estrategia did\ue1ctica del estudio de casos en el curso aludido, con la participaci\uf3n de un grupo de 14 estudiantes matriculados para el primer ciclo del a\uf1o 2016. La metodolog\ueda utilizada en el estudio es de car\ue1cter cualitativo, con aplicaci\uf3n del m\ue9todo investigaci\uf3n-acci\uf3n, si bien se introdujeron algunos aspectos cuantitativos en la fase de evaluaci\uf3n de la estrategia, con el uso de la t\ue9cnica de encuesta, dirigida a los estudiantes. La evaluaci\uf3n de los resultados de la estrategia did\ue1ctica fue favorable. Seg\ufan opini\uf3n del docente, la misma permiti\uf3 abordar una serie de conceptos y m\ue9todos de an\ue1lisis administrativo de gran complejidad, realizando una vinculaci\uf3n balanceada entre teor\ueda y pr\ue1ctica. Por su parte, los estudiantes manifestaron comprender el prop\uf3sito de la estrategia, la consideraron \ufatil en el aprendizaje del curso abordado y percibieron que fue beneficiosa, al propiciar un proceso participativo con retroalimentaci\uf3n grupal, que favorece la construcci\uf3n del conocimiento y mejora la comprensi\uf3n de los contenidos. Se concluye que la estrategia del estudio de casos estimula el desarrollo del pensamiento cr\uedtico, al permitir a los educandos identificar diferentes perspectivas de un problema, adem\ue1s de favorecer el desarrollo de habilidades blandas.

ABSTRACT
This document describes the experience of implementing a teaching strategy to a fourteen -students group, enrolled in the V Module called: Organizational Design for the provision of public services, which belongs to the third year of the Public Administration career at University of Costa Rica. The objective of this study was to apply and evaluate a didactic skill to implement the study of cases in the formative process of the students. It was used a qualitative methodology with the application of the action research method. Also, some quantities aspects were introduced in the study, through the use of a survey instruments directed to students.
Students were able to develop the proposed steps of the case study through a participatory process that encourages group feedback, analysis of information and knowledge construction. According to the results of the evaluation, this process is considered favorable in terms of meeting the objectives and the obtained products, as well as the evaluation results by students and teachers at the end of the process. The application of this teaching strategy in the modules of the Public Administration career is recommended, because it allows the cognitive development and the acquisition of soft skills in the students.

ACOMPA 1AMIENTO AL FAMILIAR DE PACIENTES CON ENFERMEDAD EN ETAPA TERMINAL
Get PDFEl objetivo de este estudio fue determinar el acompa\uf1amiento del grupo familiar a pacientes con enfermedades en etapa terminal en ambientes hospitalario y domiciliario para un bien morir. La presente investigaci\uf3n se ubica en el paradigma positivista, cuantitativo, tipo descriptiva apoyada con dise\uf1o de campo, transversal. La poblaci\uf3n fue 13 familiares de pacientes; los cuales se encontraban con diagn\uf3stico m\ue9dico de C\ue1ncer en fase terminal, a quienes previo consentimiento informado, se les aplic\uf3 un instrumento de 24 \uedtems, los resultados reflejan que el acompa\uf1amiento del grupo familiar a pacientes con enfermedades en etapa terminal est\ue1 centrado en disposici\uf3n al cuidado que indica que la familia debe contar con el tiempo necesario para ofrecer cuidados a su enfermo, apoyar y canalizar los deseos del paciente para ayudarlo a transitar sus \ufaltimos d\uedas de vida y que la familia se siente en la capacidad de brindar los cuidados necesarios a su familiar en su hogar. En relaci\uf3n al reconocimiento de las necesidades espirituales, el familiar debe inclinarse a alguna creencia como m\ue9todo de afrontamiento ante la enfermedad, as\ued mismo, que las creencias religiosas que tiene el paciente, influyen en la manera en que afronta la situaci\uf3n de su enfermedad. Por otro lado, en las manifestaciones de afecto, la familia demuestra expresiones de llanto y desesperaci\uf3n para que, \ue9l pueda ver cuanto lo quieren, la persona enferma prefiere estar en su domicilio durante los \ufaltimos d\uedas de su vida, bajo el cuidado de sus familiares, y en cuanto al manejo de las emociones del paciente, est\ue1n la ira, tristeza y temor experimentadas durante la enfermedad.

ABSTRACT
The objective of this study was to determine the accompaniment of the family group patients with diseases in terminal stage in environments home and hospital for a good death. This research is located in the quantitative, positivist paradigm, not experimental, descriptive type supported by field, cross design. The population under study was 13 relatives; which were with a medical diagnosis of Cancer in terminal phase of his illness, who informed consent is applied to an instrument of 24 items, results reflect that the accompaniment of the family group to patients with end-stage diseases is focused on willingness to care which indicate that the family must have the time needed to provide care to his patient and help channel the wishes of the patient to help you navigate your last days of life and that the family feels in the ability to provide the care necessary your family member in your home, in relation to the recognition of the spiritual needs the family should bow to any belief as a method of coping to disease, likewise, that the religious beliefs that the patient has influence on the way in which is facing the situation of his illness. On the other hand, the demonstrations of affection the family shows expressions of weeping and despair so he can see how much want it, the sick person prefers to be at his home during the last days of her life under the care of relatives, and the handling of the emotions of the patient are anger, sadness and fear experienced during the illness.

EL V\uc9RTIGO DE BABEL Y LA EDUCACI 3N NORMALIZADORA
No full textSer en sociedad implica la construcci\uf3n de espacios y mecanismos normalizadores y de homogeneizaci\uf3n de lo particular, en funci\uf3n del inter\ue9s com\ufan interpuesto intr\uednsecamente en el acto mismo de socializaci\uf3n. El orden se erige como la categor\ueda central de este ensayo anal\uedtico-interpretativo, desde el cual se pretende generar reflexi\uf3n sobre el rol de la educaci\uf3n como mecanismo de contenci\uf3n de las fuerzas que desaf\uedan el orden social. A tal efecto, se adopta como referente fundamental la teor\ueda del poder de Foucault (1976) en torno al papel capital del acto educativo, dentro del entramado de interdicciones y regulaciones del poder. La educaci\uf3n se entroniza como un mecanismo que modela y produce individuos socialmente aceptables, seg\ufan el esquema de un ordenamiento espec\uedfico que se expresa en todo momento de la vida social del individuo en la supresi\uf3n de todo elemento perturbador del orden. El principio de escolarizaci\uf3n en que ha derivado la educaci\uf3n en la contemporaneidad hunde sus ra\uedces en la paideia plat\uf3nica, modelo por excelencia que le asigna a la educaci\uf3n la responsabilidad de regular los primeros a\uf1os de vida del hombre a favor de determinados par\ue1metros de orden social y en detrimento del v\ue9rtigo impl\uedcito en el caos.

ABSTRACT
Being in society implies the construction of spaces and normalizing mechanisms and homogenization of the particular, in terms of the common interest interposed intrinsically in the very act of socialization. The order is erected as the central category of this analytical-interpretative essay, from which it is intended to generate reflection on the role of education as a mechanism of containment of the forces that challenge the social order. For this purpose, Foucault's theory of power (1976) is adopted as a fundamental reference around the capital role of the educational act within the framework of power interdictions and regulations. Education is enthroned as a mechanism that models and produces socially acceptable individuals, according to the scheme of a specific order, which is expressed at all times of the social life of the individual in the suppression of any disturbing element of order. The principle of schooling in which education has derived in contemporaneity has its roots in the paideia Platonic excellent model that assigns to education the responsibility of regulating the first years of life of man, in favor of certain parameters of social order and to the detriment of the vertigo implicit in the chaos.

FACTORES LABORALES QUE INCIDEN EN LA SALUD DEL PERSONAL DE ENFERMERIA EN EL QUIR 3FANO
Get PDFEl estudio presento como objetivo determinar los factores laborales que inciden en la salud del personal de enfermer\ueda en quir\uf3fano. Este estudio estuvo enmarcado en una investigaci\uf3n cuantitativa, de campo, tipo descriptivo con dise\uf1o transversal; siendo la poblaci\uf3n constituida por quince (15) profesionales de enfermer\ueda de un centro de salud privado de Barquisimeto y la muestra utilizada fue de caracter\uedstica censal, la cual se asumi\uf3 con el mismo n\ufamero de sujetos; a los cuales previo consentimiento les fue aplicado un cuestionario. Para, la confiabilidad se utiliz\uf3 el coeficiente estad\uedstico Kuder Richardson, para ello se busc\uf3 determinar la consistencia, pertinencia, claridad con el objetivo de la investigaci\uf3n resultando 0.80 altamente confiable. Los resultados obtenidos revelaron que la mayor\ueda de los profesionales de enfermer\ueda sujeto de estudio poseen desconocimiento sobre salud laboral y los factores biol\uf3gicos, qu\uedmicos y disergon\uf3micos a los cuales est\ue1n expuestos en sus actividades diarias en quir\uf3fano.

ABSTRACT
The objective of the study was to determine the labor factors that affect the health of the nursing staff in the operating room. This study was framed in a quantitative investigation, field research, descriptive type with transversal design; being the population constituted by fifteen (15) nursing professionals of a private health center of Barquisimeto and the sample used was of census characteristic, which was assumed with the same number of subjects; to which prior consent was applied a questionnaire. For reliability, the Kuder Richardson statistical coefficient was used. For this purpose, the aim was to determine the consistency, relevance, clarity with the objective of the investigation, resulting in a highly reliable 0.80. The results obtained revealed that most of the nursing professionals subject to the study have ignorance about occupational health and the biological, chemical and disergonomic factors to which they are exposed in their daily activities in the operating room.

No full textEl prop\uf3sito del presente art\uedculo est\ue1 orientado a analizar la importancia que representa el concepto de capital social (CS) para comprender el mundo de los cuidados colectivos del profesional enfermero dentro de una comunidad, adem\ue1s de fortalecer su \ue1mbito de actuaci\uf3n y el rol actual en una sociedad cada vez m\ue1s individualizada. La Enfermer\ueda comunitaria es la disciplina que sintetiza los conocimientos te\uf3ricos y las habilidades pr\ue1cticas de la enfermer\ueda y de la salud p\ufablica y los aplica, mediante cuidados directos e indirectos a las personas, a las familias, a grupos y a la propia comunidad en su conjunto con el fin de promover, mantener y restaurar la salud de la poblaci\uf3n. De ah\ued que el profesional enfermero como capital humano y capital social (CS), es mucho m\ue1s que el conjunto de las capacidades productivas que un individuo adquiere por acumulaci\uf3n de conocimientos generales o espec\uedficos, el cuidado de enfermer\ueda en todo sentido responde perfectamente a este an\ue1lisis de CS, pues se desarrolla dentro de una relaci\uf3n enfermera-persona (familia, colectivos) que recibe asistencia.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this essay is aimed at analyzing the importance of social capital (CS) for the performance of nurses in the area of Public Health, areas of action and role in the world today community nursing is the discipline that synthesizes the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of nursing and public health and applies them, through direct and indirect care to people, families, other groups and the community as a whole in order to promote, maintain and restore the health of the population. Hence, the nursing professional as human capital and social capital (CS), is much more than the set of productive capacities that an individual acquires by accumulating general or specific knowledge, nursing care in every sense perfectly responds to this analysis of CS, because it develops within a relationship nurse-person (family, groups) that receives assistance.

CONSTRUCCIONES SOCIALES EN FACEBOOK. SAQUEOS DURANTE UNA HUELGA POLICIAL (ARGENTINA, 2013).
No full textLa inseguridad se presenta como una de las principales preocupaciones de la sociedad civil, es por eso que la descripci\uf3n de un determinado acto de delincuencia es importante para no distorsionar la imagen de aquellas personas que participaron de un hecho delictivo o que se viero involucradas por la coyuntura del propio caso. Este trabajo es producto de una pesquisa ampliada que se basa en una investigaci\uf3n period\uedstica policial a partir del abandono de tareas de la polic\ueda - en reclamo de mejoras salariales - y que inici\uf3 los saqueos en diversas provincias de Argentina. A partir de esto, se pretende reflexionar sobre un caso particular - los saqueos de diciembre de 2013 en C\uf3rdoba, Argentina - exponiendo c\uf3mo se representan y eval\ufaan los actos de los sujetos implicados con el
fin de inferir en los conceptos de justicia e inseguridad ciudadana que las redes sociales contemplan y promueven. De esta manera, en el siguiente art\uedculo, se realiza un an\ue1lisis socio-semi\uf3tico con capturas de pantalla de Facebook considerando que este suceso signific\uf3, tambi\ue9n, una 'guerra en red' entre aquellos que saqueaban y quienes hac\uedan 'justicia por mano propia'.

ABSTRACT
Insecurity presents itself as one of the primary concerns of civil society, reason why the description of a determined act of delinquency is important in order not to disrupt the image of those that participated in a criminal event or that were involved because of the own cojunture of the case itself. This paper is a result of an extended research based on a police journalistic investigation
aroused by the abandonment of the police enforcement -claiming wage increases- which led to the riots in a number of provinces in Argentina. From this conception, we pretend to make a reflection
about a particular case - the lootings of December 2013 in C\uf3rdoba, Argentina- exposing how the acts of those involved are represented and evaluated, within the concepts of justice and civil insecurity that social media contemplates and promotes. This way, in the following article, a socio-semiotic analysis is made through print screens from Facebook, considering that this event also
meant an 'online war' among those that commited the lootings and those that took 'justice by their own hands'.

A inseguran\ue7a se apresenta como uma das principais preocupa\ue7\uf5es da sociedade civil, \ue9 por isso que a descri\ue7\ue3o de um determinado ato de delinqu\ueancia \ue9 importante para n\ue3o distorcer a imagem
daquelas pessoas que participaram de um feito delitivo ou que se encontraram envolvidas pela conjuntura do pr\uf3prio caso. Este trabalho \ue9 produto de uma pesquisa ampliada que se fundamenta em uma investiga\ue7\ue3o jornal\uedstica policial a partir do abandono de tarefas da pol\uedcia - que reivindicava melhorias salariais - e que deu in\uedcio a saqueios em diferentes prov\uedncias da Argentina. A partir disto, pretende-se refletir sobre um caso particular - os saqueios ocorridos em dezembro de 2013 em C\uf3rdoba, Argentina - expondo como se representam e avaliam os atos dos sujeitos implicados, com a finalidade de inferir os conceitos de justi\ue7a e inseguran\ue7a cidad\ue3 que as redes sociais contemplam e promovem. Desta maneira, neste artigo, se realiza uma an\ue1lise s\uf3cio-semi\uf3tica com capturas de tela do Facebook levando em conta que este evento significou, tamb\ue9m, uma 'guerra em rede' entre aqueles que saqueavam e aqueles que faziam 'justi\ue7a com as pr\uf3prias m\ue3os'.
