Community Perception Towards Vermitechnology: Insights from Zamboanga City, Philippines
This study explores the perceptions, attitudes, and adoption possibility of vermicomposting technology (vermitechnology) among vegetable growers in Barangay Baluno, Zamboanga City. Vermitechnology, an eco-friendly waste management system that uses earthworms (African night crawler) to process and convert organic materials into organic fertilizer, offers significant economic and environmental benefits, such as reducing chemical fertilizer dependence, enhancing soil fertility, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. Aside from its promising sustainability as an alternative to the rise of solid waste generation, it also serves as source of income for smallholder farmers. Using a descriptive research design, data were collected from 40 purposively selected vegetable growers through a self-developed questionnaire. Findings highlight high level of awareness and generally positive perceptions of vegetable growers recognizing its low capital requirements (M = 4.47), reduced chemical input (M = 4.45), and ease of management (M = 4.40). Vermitechnology was also seen as aligned with local farming conditions. Despite its advantages, vermicomposting faces several challenges among vegetable growers, particularly those categorized as laggards. These include the labour-intensive nature of the production process, unstable market demand due to low consumer awareness, and limited knowledge about the technology itself. In light of these challenges, the Organic Agriculture sector presents significant potential, offering avenues for strategic planning and technical assistance. The paper highlights the necessity for governmental action to enhance market connections, encourage local production, and provide assistance to smallholder farmers. By addressing these challenges, Zamboanga City could be better positioned as a vital contributor to organic fertilizer production in the region

Application of Embellishment Techniques to Fashion Products with Pekalongan Buketan Batik Inspiration
The fashion business is now experiencing several advancements, including the employment of methods for manufacturing decorations, among others. However, many people in Indonesia have yet to recognize the enormous potential for developing cultural diversity by preserving Indonesian culture by utilizing traditional cloth in a way that adapts the Batik Buketan motif using the Tasik Embroidery technique, which will be combined with beads made into embellishments and applied to fashion products. The local fashion sectors have changed dramatically over time, starting with the processes utilized to create wonderful fashion goods using sustainable principles. Several designers apply embellishment methods, such as designer Biyan Wanaatmadja uses floral patterned embroidery and beading accents; Benita Oktaviana applies a custom-made cheongsam with embroidered elements; Nita Senoadji uses Indonesian traditional literature motifs which he applied in the form of embroidery; and Cynthia Tan adds custom-embroidered lettering on the wedding dress. This research provides an understanding of why designers play such a crucial role in maintaining Indonesian culture. This research employs qualitative methods of investigation. The findings of this study take the shape of an experimental examination of beading mixed with Tasik embroidery techniques, which will result in new decorative innovations in the form of bead embroidery that can be applied to fashion goods created with beading techniques.

Strategy to Build Word-of-mouth in Increasing Bandung City Tourism Through City Tour Bus Services Quality
As the capital of West Java Province, Bandung City has a strong identity as a Tourism City. For tourists who want to get around the city while getting to know history, the Bandung City government created the Bandung on Tour Bus (Bandros). However, there are obstacles in the management system of Bandros as a city tour bus, especially in the field of service management. As a result, people who have ridden Bandros have unpleasant experiences and create negative word-of-mouth about Bandros. This study aims to design a design strategy to improve community word-of-mouth towards Bandros management. The research method used in this study used the design thinking ‘double diamond’ method. Primary data collection used observation of research objects, structured interviews with Bandros workers, and questionnaires with differential semantic calculation scales. Secondary data collection with literature study. The result of this study is a recommendation for strategies in improving Bandros services digitally through website design. So that with the improvement of service, it will form a positive word of mouth. This research is expected to produce management strategies for city tour bus services in increasing positive word-of-mouth in the community through a design approach.

Gringsing Textiles as Cultural Archives: Designing Story-Making Tools for Conservation
Traditional textiles are central to understanding values and influences integral to regional design forms. For example, the various kinds of gringsing woven in Tenganan Pagringsingan, Bali, Indonesia, have a distinct ecology that is social, natural, and spiritual. How can this be sustained to attract a new generation of weavers and dyers within the community as well as ensure the appropriate use of natural resources? Woven textile motifs and patterns can capture cultural forces, and transcribe them into images, forming visual records or archives of significant relationships, perceptions, events, and stories. These images are semiotic and perceptual tools that can facilitate knowledge conservation by re-connecting textile makers/users with original sources of inspiration, myth, and other cultural information. Contemporary media, such as photography or illustrated books, can also be used as tools of connection when used to document textile motifs and cultural practices within these communities. Based on research conducted over 2014-2019, this article introduces 27 gringsing weaves as well as local knowledge associated with the usage of natural elements. Field observations, interviews, and discussions also helped co-create a story prototype and visual character design with some of Tenganan’s inhabitants. These can be used as tools to help re-identify social-natural-spiritual resources in gringsing’s composition and acquaint the community’s younger generation with their cultural inheritance.

Processing of Pearl Clam Shells as Beads Materials in Deluxe Ready-to-Wear Fashion
Indonesia is famous for its territorial waters, including the sea and islands, which have a high potential for resources produced, namely mussel shells. Clams have economic value, both meat and pearls, while the shells cannot be utilized, resulting in the accumulation of shell waste, one of which is pearl clam shells. The shoreline that becomes a dumping ground for shell waste makes the beach unattractive and uncomfortable. Pearl clam shells can be utilized as a basic material with strong and shiny characteristics. The utilization of pearl mussel shell waste is currently only used as the main basic material for making various crafts, and there is an opportunity to develop pearl mussel shells as an alternative material for beads with beading techniques. Beading is one of the design techniques used to embellish or add value to the decoration. Stringing like beads gives a three-dimensional effect on the fabric’s surface. The results of this research produce innovative beads in the form of shells that can be applied to fashion products using beading techniques. The data used by the author is a qualitative method consisting of collecting data from literature studies, interviews, observations, and conducting experiments to find out the characteristics of shells that have lustre.
