    No full text
The implementation of general elections for Indonesians is a representation of democracy that is held every five years, where candidates for national leaders and civil society participate in the use of their rights to be elected and vote as mandated by Indonesian Law Undang-Undang No. 39 Tahun 1999. For this reason, this research aims to analyze the level of inclusion of peoples with disabilities in the 2024 general election. It uses a descriptive-qualitative approach and secondary data sources that describe the situation faced by disability groups in general elections. This research uses access, participation, control and benefits (APKM) analysis theory to measure the inclusion of people with disabilities in elections. The results showed that the concept of inclusive elections needs to be improved, with the urgency of the 2024 Regional Head Elections, which will be held in the near future, and as a form of effort to grant political rights to peoples with disabilities in accordance with applicable laws and regulation

    No full text
The focus on green businesses is increasing, but not all investors are committed to green products due to their high cost and innovative technology. According to a Katadata Insight Center survey in 2021, only 28% of consumers understand green products. This study aims to analyze the effect of Sustainable Brand (SB) moderation on the relationship between Green Product Awareness (GPA), Green Product Concern (GPC), Green Product Perception (GPP), and Green Product Value (GPV). The population consists of consumers in Jakarta and its surroundings. A sample of 100 people was selected using a combination of purposive and convenience sampling. Data analysis was carried out using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with SPSS 23. The results of the study show that GPA has an effect on GPV. GPC affects GPV, and GPP affects GPV. The SB variable is able to moderate GPA and GPC towards GPV while for the GPP variable, the SB variable is not able to moderate effectively. The implications of this study show that further efforts are needed from the government, business actors/entrepreneurs, and the public to increase consumer awareness, concern, and perception of green products to create a better environment

The Role of Customer Review Towards Gen-Z Customer Trust with the Transformation of Consumer Behavior as a Moderating Variable and Shopping Experience as an Intervening Variable

    No full text
This research examines how online customer reviews (OCR) affect customer trust, with consumer behavior transformation (TPK) as a moderating variable and customer experience online (CEO) as an intervening variable. The study surveyed 185 Gen Z respondents, aged 17 or older, who shop on platforms like Shopee and Tokopedia. Using SEM PLS analysis, the study found that OCR positively influences customer trust, while TPK moderately enhances this effect. However, CEO has a weak impact on trust and cannot mediate the OCR-trust relationship. TPK also has a direct positive impact on customer trust

This method enables contextual learning by allowing students to engage directly with the learning environment outside of the traditional classroom setting. This research uses literature studies, drawing insights from books, academic journals, and other relevant sources. The findings show that traveling class learning effectively supports contextual learning and contributes significantly to improving the overall quality of education

Analysis of Competency Gap in the Civil Servants of Southwest Papua Province and CompetencyDevelopment Strategies

    No full text
This study analyzes the competency gap of civil servants (ASN) in Southwest Papua using a thematic analysis approach to qualitative data. It studies interviews from 20 informants consisting of 13 indigenous Papuans and 7 non-indigenous Papuans, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis. Data processing was conducted using NVivo software through systematic stages of open coding, axial coding, and theme development. The research findings identified three primary themes explaining the competency gap phenomenon: structural incongruence, adaptive capacity disparities, and professional identity dualism. Findings reveal that the competency gap among civil servants in Southwest Papua is multidimensional and requires a comprehensive approach considering the unique geographical, socio-cultural, and institutional contexts. The study proposes the concept of “adaptive contextualization” as an integrated framework for civil servant competency development in Southwest Papua, encompassing three key elements: structural flexibility, adaptive capacity enhancement, and identity integration. Recommended competency development strategies include decentralization of development programs, adaptive learning approaches, incorporation of local wisdom into competency standards, and evidence-based implementation. This study contributes to understanding the competency gap attributes of civil servants in regions with unique geographical and socio-cultural characteristics and provides a concept for developing effective strategies

Fraud is an act of deviation, often occurring in financial services institutions. Every financial services institution is expected to implement an anti-fraud strategy by considering the characteristics of comprehensive fraud potential and implementing a fraud control system. This study uses a qualitative method to analyze the implementation of anti-fraud strategies at Bank Sulselbar in South and West Sulawesi Provinces. Primary data sources are obtained from in-depth interviews with various informants who play important roles in implementing anti-fraud strategies. Secondary data relates to statistical data related to fraud. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis. The results of the study found that the anti-fraud strategy at Bank Sulselbar was carried out by issuing a Director’s Decree number: SK/068/DIR/K/XII/2024 concerning Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the Implementation of the Anti-Fraud Strategy of PT. Bank Sulselbar. Other prevention efforts are carried out by building anti-fraud awareness, carrying out verifications and surprise audits, and using fraud detection systems. In addition, the Know Your Customer and Know Your Employee policies have been implemented but have not been consistent. In detecting fraud, the whistleblowing system method is used, but its implementation has not been optimal. Investigations and reporting are carried out in accordance with applicable procedures. Sanctions are given by implementing zero tolerance for fraudulent acts. Evaluations are carried out periodically and continuously and various findings are followed up according to applicable mechanisms

Human-machine Dynamics in Local Digital Governance: Evidence from North Kalimantan's SPBE

    No full text
One of the efforts to improve the quality of public services is the implementation of the electronic-based government system (SPBE). However, in its implementation, various regions experienced different obstacles, including North Kalimantan Province. This obstacle is primarily related to the capacity of employees in the government and the community in adapting to and adopting technology, which tends to indicate that there is still resistance to the use of digital systems in public service processes. The lack of human resources with technological capacity also remains an obstacle in the implementation of the SPBE in North Kalimantan. This situation causes government agencies to prefer collaborating with third parties for the preparation and development of related applications. In addition, the quality of technological infrastructure is also not yet adequate, with only 65% of the areas in North Kalimantan Province having stable internet access

Literature Study of Ethics and Accountability of Governance in Handling Export-based Fishery Products

    No full text
This study aims to examine the role of ethics and accountability in the governance of export-oriented fishery product management in Indonesia through a literature review approach. As a maritime country with one of the longest coastlines in the world, Indonesia holds significant potential in the fisheries sector, regulated through national legislation, including Law No. 31 of 2004 and its amendment, Law No. 45 of 2009. Indonesia’s fishery exports cover various categories such as fresh, frozen, canned, and processed products. Effective governance in this sector involves multiple stakeholders, with the government serving not only as a regulator but also as a facilitator, supervisor, and partner to both the private sector and local communities. These partnerships play a crucial role in ensuring efficient fish distribution and access to financing and capacitybuilding for fishermen and small-scale enterprises. The marine-based processed food industry also demonstrates promising growth, particularly through the involvement of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, coastal MSMEs often face challenges related to limited capital, technical skills, and market access. This study applies the governance theory proposed by Dwiyanto and Noerhaeni, which highlights three dimensions: institutional structure, value-based decision-making, and the responsiveness of public institutions. The findings suggest that governance rooted in ethical principles and accountability can enhance transparency, effectiveness, and sustainability in managing the fisheries export sector. Strengthening cross-sectoral collaboration is essential to establish an inclusive and participatory governance system for long-term development

Transformational Leadership and Innovative Work Behavior to Realize a Sustainable Organization: Case Study at the Wajo Regency Education Office

    No full text
This research examines the influence of transformational leadership on innovative work behavior (IWB) and its implications for organizational sustainability, with a case study at the Wajo District Education Office. In the face of dynamic change and increasing demands in the public sector, adaptability and innovation have become critical. Drawing on Bass and Riggio’s (2006) four-dimensional framework—idealized Influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration—the study analyzes how leadership shapes employees’ creativity, engagement, and willingness to generate and implement new ideas. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data were collected from 49 civil servants through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression and Bayesian ANOVA. Results indicate that charismatic leadership (β = 0.415; P < 0.01) and individualized consideration (β = 0.284; P < 0.05) significantly enhance organizational performance sustainability. Meanwhile, although several mediation paths were statistically nonsignificant, IWB emerged as a key mediating variable, reinforcing the link between leadership and sustainable outcomes. These findings confirm that transformational leadership plays the dual role of directly encouraging innovation through behavioral influence and indirectly sustaining performance by fostering an environment of psychological safety, creativity, and learning. The strong posterior support for models including individualized consideration (P(M|data) = 0.940) underscores the strategic value of personalized leadership approaches in bureaucratic contexts. The study highlights the importance of leadership development initiatives focused on strengthening transformational capabilities, particularly in motivating innovation and empowering employees. This approach can enhance organizational agility, resilience, and long-term relevance in the public sector

Network Structure in Local Wisdom-based Creative Economy Development in Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi Province

    No full text
This study aims to examine the network structure in creative economic development in Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Baubau City has a strong heritage of customs and culture, and hence a great potential in developing a creative economy based on local wisdom. However, it faces many challenges because it involves many actors, so a distribution of roles and power is needed to make the collaboration between these actors more effective. This research used a qualitative approach, and data were collected using interviews, documentation, and observation. Interviews were conducted with eight informants, namely: two people from the leadership, two creative economy actors, two academics, and two persons from the cultural community. Data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results showed that the government network structure in Baubau City is hierarchical. The relationships between network structures — measured through network integration, external control, and network effectiveness — continue to point toward the dominance of unofficial power. These relationships are often based on personal or informal connections rather than formal authority. However, the lack of government presence as a management organization causes the direction of development to be less integrated and the potential of the local wisdom-based creative economy has not been utilized effectively. The ineffective role of the government has led to coordination and utilization of local potential, which have not been effectively integrated either
