As a region rich in cultural potential and traditions, Wajo possesses various cultural heritage assets that can be utilized as tourist attractions. However, tourism development in Wajo still faces various challenges, such as a lack of integrated management, insufficient infrastructure, and limited promotion and marketing of the cultural tourism potential. Therefore, a proper strategy is needed to leverage the existing cultural potential as a driving force for tourism development in Wajo District. The strategy for cultural tourism development in Wajo District must consider sustainability, cultural preservation, and the empowerment of local communities. Cultural tourism development can create interesting and sustainable tourist destinations through an approach that involves all stakeholders, including the local government, community, and private sector. Several key steps that need to be considered in this strategy include the development of supporting infrastructure, improving human resources quality in tourism, building an effective marketing and promotion system, and strengthening cooperation between the government and the community in tourism management. In addition, to support the sustainability of cultural tourism development, it is necessary to involve the younger generation in maintaining and preserving local cultural traditions. Education and training programs focusing on cultural tourism can be an initial step in fostering awareness and enthusiasm to preserve the region’s cultural heritage. Therefore, cultural tourism development in Wajo District can provide optimal benefits in terms of economy, society, and culture

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the basis of actor networks (Actor-Network Theory/ANT) in shaping Yasir Mahmud’s electability as a member of the South Sulawesi Provincial DPRD for the 2024–2029 period. The ANT approach is used to explore the role of human and non-human actors—such as social relations, campaign technology, and local cultural structures—in mediating power dynamics and electoral strategies. This study relies on in-depth interview techniques and documentation as data collection methods, as well as qualitative analysis based on data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results of the study show that strong social networks, cultural closeness to the Bone community, and the use of economic narratives through experience as a fertilizer entrepreneur are the keys to Yasir Mahmud’s success. In addition, a patronage-based approach, local values such as siri’ na pacce, and community empowerment strategies play an important role in building voter loyalty. This study emphasizes that electability in the local context cannot be separated from the complex relations between social, cultural, economic, and technological structures. ANT is a relevant analytical framework for understanding how political agency is formed in a network of mutually constructing networks

The results of the study concluded that organizational commitment and employee involvement have a positive and significant effect on voice behavior, which plays an important role in driving organizational change. However, organizational change is not directly influenced by employee commitment and involvement, but rather by the extent to which they dare to voice ideas and opinions. Therefore, organizations need to strengthen voice behavior by creating an environment that supports active participation and innovation so that change can run more effectively

    No full text
Correctional institutions have a series of obligations to foster prisoners so that they can blend in and become part of society again after their detention period is over. It is hoped that the guidance carried out by the correctional institution can have a positive impact in terms of personality and the independence of prisoners. However, in its implementation, some crucial obstacles still occur, especially in coaching at the Nunukan Class IIB Correctional Institution. Therefore, researchers in this study tried to explore further the problems that occur in the implementation of inmate coaching in the Nunukan class IIB prison, especially from the aspect of systemic capacity building. Systemic capacity building sees a hierarchy in the fulfillment of capacity building components, where the most important components are those that are not physically visible. Systemic capacity building includes tools, skills, staff and infrastructure, structures, systems, and roles. The data were then compiled in qualitative research. Data collection methods include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data sources consisted of primary and secondary data, while data analysis was carried out using interactive methods. The results of this study indicate that there are still many aspects that need to be addressed by the Nunukan Regency Class IIB Correctional Institution, starting from the short duration of the implementation of coaching and coaching programs that are not varied and not sustainable, lack of coaching personnel, cooperation with stakeholders that are still limited and the absence of special regional regulations that are the basis for maximum cooperation in coaching prisoners
