Management of SamiSade in Village Infrastructure Development in Bogor Regency
The One Billion One Village Program (SamiSade) in Bogor Regency is a crucial initiative aimed at accelerating village infrastructure development and reducing the developmental gap between rural and urban areas. While this program has improved the quality of life for rural communities, its implementation faces several significant challenges. The identified issues in SamiSade management include the inefficient use of funds, lack of oversight and transparency, and project delays. Funds are often misallocated and or experience overruns due to inadequate planning and poor coordination. Additionally, financial accountability processes frequently do not adhere to applicable accounting standards, leading to undetected fund misuse. This study analyzes the management of the SamiSade Program and formulates policy recommendations for its management. It contributes to the literature on managing village infrastructure and development programs and proposes relevant policies. This study was conducted through observation and in-depth interviews with relevant departments and agencies. It highlights the need for clear and firm regulations on SamiSade fund management to enhance transparency and accountability as well as close loopholes that allow fund misappropriation. Implementing such a policy is expected to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of SamiSade fund management, as well as the sustainability of village infrastructure. This will maximize the program’s benefits for all village residents while supporting national development
Implementation and Strategies for Creating Green Open Spaces to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals
Rapid population and economic growth in Indonesia have led to a significant decline in air quality, exacerbated by a limited green open space (Ruang Terbuka Hijau or RTH) coverage of less than 30% for most cities, contributing to respiratory health issues. RTH is crucial for achieving SDG 11, sustainable cities and communities. However, implementing the RTH policy, mandated by Law number 26 of 2007 and amended by the Job Creation Omnibus Law, faces substantial challenges. This study aims to identify key obstacles hindering the RTH policy implementation in DKI Jakarta, South Tangerang City, Bandung City, and Surabaya. Through in-depth interviews with government officials and review of related literature, we explored the barriers to achieving the 30% RTH target. Preliminary findings indicate that several challenges contribute to this condition, including low awareness among both public officials and the public, the limitation and expense of available spaces, inadequate understanding of related regulations and their enforcement, and the absence of comprehensive RDTR documents for robust RTH master planning. This research also proposes actionable strategies to enhance RTH coverage at the provincial, district, and city levels, including reward and punishment mechanisms, increased public awareness, optimized spatial audits, strengthened law enforcement, improved interagency collaboration, and standardized RTH coverage calculations. Our findings are expected to inform the development of effective policies and strategies to increase RTH coverage, leading to improved air quality and overall urban sustainability in Indonesia
Analyzing Teacher Professionalism Performance in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum
This study aims to analyze the performance of elementary school teacher professionalism in the implementation of the independent curriculum. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The validity of the data uses a triangulation credibility test of data sources through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed with three activity flows, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The population in this study were elementary school teachers. The results of observation of elementary school teachers show that some teachers have not been appointed as civil servants and have not been certified as professional teachers, this is a benchmark that professional competence is still relatively lacking. The professional performance of some teachers, especially junior and senior teachers, seems less than optimal. Teacher professionalism has not been optimally applied to junior teachers, and senior teachers have begun to decline in their level of professional competence performance. Continuous professional development through self-development, scientific publications, and innovative works is still relatively weak
Education for Sustainable Development: A Case Study of the Lack of Understanding and Practice Among Indonesian Communities
Education for sustainable development (ESD) is an educational approach designed to equip individuals with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to address global challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and inequality. This study examines the understanding and practice of ESD in Indonesia, analyzing factors that influence its implementation. The findings reveal that while 60% of respondents have heard of ESD, only 37% rate it as highly important in education. Furthermore, 64% of institutions implement ESD, but significant barriers remain, including lack of knowledge (80%) and limited institutional support. These results highlight the need for stronger integration of ESD into educational curricula and policy frameworks. The study suggests that increasing institutional commitment and public awareness will enhance ESD implementation and foster sustainable practices in Indonesia
Analysis of the Perception Index of Regional Government Development Performance in Boyolali Regency
This study aims to analyze the political preferences of the community in Boyolali Regency, Central Java, Indonesia, based on a survey conducted in July 2024. The evaluation was carried out using a survey method to measure the level of community satisfaction with various development indicators. The survey population consists of residents listed in the Permanent Voters List (DPT) for the 2024 elections, with a total of 825,630 voters, comprising 408,654 males and 416,976 females. The research sample involved 700 respondents selected randomly through random sampling techniques based on polling stations as Survey Location Points (TLS). The survey was conducted at 100 polling stations with 7 respondents per polling station, resulting in a margin of error of 4–5% and a confidence level of 95%. The survey findings provide an overview of preferences based on age, gender, and socio-economic status. The results indicate that public perception of the performance of regional government development is greatly influenced by socio-economic and regional factors. The main recommendation is the need to improve communication and socialization of development policies more evenly across all areas, which can serve as a reference for the Boyolali regional government in formulating more effective development policies

Organizational and Managerial Determinants in the Implementation of Digital Transformation of Government Public Services: A Systematic Literature Review
The substantial modifications enacted by governmental entities in the pursuit of digital transformation for the delivery of public services in the contemporary era have exerted a profound influence on the public service paradigm. Nevertheless, the execution of these transformations has encountered numerous obstacles in developing nations, including institutional inefficiencies, inadequate intersectoral coordination, and a workforce characterized by relatively low skill levels, which collectively hinder effective governance. This research aims to elucidate the degree to which organizations and management practices facilitate the implementation of digital transformation within public service frameworks. It adopts an organized literature review, enhanced through revelations from bibliometric research. The results reveal that collaborative efforts among scholars remain predominantly concentrated in developed nations such as the Netherlands, Germany, and Sweden, whereas contributions from developing nations including Brazil, Pakistan, and Indonesia are markedly limited. Additionally, the oversight of digitalization within the scope of the readiness of an organization continues to significantly shape the efficacy of the implementation of digital transformation plans. Also, the terms discerned in the studied articles imply that the concept of ’digital transformation’ is a significant theme linked with numerous subjects such as ’egovernment,’ ’public services,’ and ’innovation.’ They further suggest the onset of a transition towards broader inquiries into the employment of artificial intelligence (AI), data-driven governance, and adjustments to governmental challenges. This study acknowledges certain limitations regarding data sources, which are exclusively derived from the Scopus database, thereby constraining the findings and rendering them insufficient to encapsulate a holistic investigation of digital transformation in public services. Consequently, it is advisable for subsequent research to explore a wider array of data sources from other esteemed databases to facilitate a more thorough analysis and yield novel insights
Global Trends of Decolonial Governance in Indigenous Peoples Recognition Policy
Interest in the recognition and protection of the rights of indigenous people has grown rapidly in the last decade. This study analyzes the development of the concept of decolonial governance in indigenous peoples’ recognition policies through a systematic literature review (SLR) and bibliometric analysis of global publications for the 2019–2024 period. The aim of the study is to identify publication trends, dominant actors, and institutional design principles that support the decolonial paradigm. The SLR method follows the PRISMA protocol with searches in Scopus and Web of Science databases, complemented by quantitative analysis using Bibliometrix and VOSviewer. The results show an exponential increase in publications (150% since 2019), dominated by researchers from North America, Europe, and South Africa. Key themes include structural decolonization, indigenous peoples’ rights, and institutional reform. The Indigenous Peoples Commission’s case study revealed implementation challenges, such as reliance on authority and resources. The geographical gap is characterized by minimal contributions from Southeast Asia and Latin America, as well as a lack of empirical evaluation of critical findings. This article recommends strengthening participatory methodologies and evaluative research to support inclusive institutional design. The findings provide a conceptual basis for the development of inclusive and equitable decolonial policies
