    In this essay several aspects of the concept ‘indicator’ are criticized, as well as the technical consequences of those misconceptions. The most relevant among them is the pretence of measuring the validity of an indicator, e. g. the degree of semantic correspondence between the indicator and  the concept which it is supposes to refer to.

    The intention of this work is to analyze, in the years of the sociological study (from the period after the Italian unity to the present), the concept of rurality through the contexts of reference on the subjects that have marked a period of "project" and emancipation, and, above all, a marginal growth rate that made the fortunes of Western society at the expense of the other parts of the same society. To achieve this, the themes of the Relation city/field and the concept of community as a field of rational action in the interior of the social Arena (Bourdieu) in which the social individualism is unfolds; Concluding with the historical antecedents – despite the brevity of the Italian scholars, together with the most representative associated institutes from the earliest interests in this field to the most recent studies. Resumen:La intención de esta obra es la de analizar, en los años del estudio sociológico (desde el período posterior a la Unidad italiana hasta la actualidad), el concepto de ruralidad a través de los contextos de referencia sobre los temas que han marcado un período de "proyecto" y emancipación, y, sobre todo,  un índice de crecimiento  de marginalidad que hicieron la fortuna de la sociedad occidental a costa de las demás partes de la misma sociedad. Para lograr esto, se tocan los temas de la relación ciudad/campo y el concepto de comunidad como ámbito de acción racional en el interior de la arena social (Bourdieu) en el que se desenvuelve el individualismo social; concluyendo con los antecedentes históricos – pese a la brevedad descriptiva – de los estudiosos italianos, junto a los institutos asociados más representativos desde los primeros intereses en esta materia hasta los estudios más recientes.Palabra clave: Campo/Ciudad, ámbito urbano-rural, estudios de comunidades, individualismo social

    Logica del certo e dell’incerto per la scuola primaria

    Learning the basics of the logic of certain and the uncertain is presented as the result of a work of an interdisciplinary team. Our experimentation involves essentially two aspects: language comprehension of a statement and analysis of the information. The first aspect is to see how children interpret a sentence with subject and predicate, that is, if they believe that the truth values that can be assigned are those of bivalent logic, i.e. true or false, or truth-values of a multivalent logic i.e. if there is the possibility/need to consider truth values intermediate between true and false such as: more true than false, more false than true, halfway between true and false. It is also required children to identify phrases not complete and therefore that are not linguistic statements. Regarding the second aspect it comes to analyzing the information on the concept expressed by a proposition, i.e. to see if it is possible to immediately assign to it a truth value, or if it is necessary to acquire a further information. Moreover we highlight the distinction between uncertainty due to incomplete information, which leads to probability assessments, and semantic uncertainty that leads to the theory of fuzzy sets

It aims to develop a decision-making model to address the issue of sustainable protection of human rights in prisons. It shows how, using the Saaty AHP procedure, it is possible to have an analytical reasoning guideline for the understanding of the validity of the various alternative choices, in order to facilitate the situation of the prisoners and their reintegration into society

    This study presents some fundamental aspects of recent theories  on algebraic Hyperstructures, an important tool for an interdisciplinary vision of Geometry and Algebra. We examine some hypergroupoids of events, useful for a new algebraic-geometry perspective in the study and issues of probability applications. This paper considers some fundamental aspects of fuzzy classifications and their applications to problems of evaluation and decision in Architecture and Economics. Finally, we present hypergroups and join space associated with these classifications. Iperstrutture algebriche e logica fuzzy nel trattamento dell’incertezzaSi presentano alcuni aspetti fondamentali della relativamente recente teoria delle iperstrutture algebriche, importante strumento per una visione interdisciplinare di Geometria e Algebra.
