Enhancing the Role of Cooperatives in Achieving Community Welfare in Tunah Village, Semanding Sub-district, Tuban
Purpose: This project aims to strengthen the capacity of the Tunah Village community in managing cooperatives and local natural products such as Siwalan, Legen, or Lontar. It addresses the lack of financial and managerial skills, which limits economic development in the region.
Method: Conducted by the Department of Accounting at Airlangga University with PT. Legend Trend, the project involved training sessions in financial accounting, management accounting, and taxation. Data was gathered through observations and pre/post-training assessments.
Practical Application: The program provides practical skills for cooperative management and business planning, supporting job creation and economic growth. It aligns with SDG Goal 1 (No Poverty) and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
Conclusion: The project has demonstrated that targeted training in financial and management skills can significantly improve the operational effectiveness of rural cooperatives and unlock the economic potential of natural resources such as Siwalan. These findings highlight the importance of integrated community-university-industry partnerships in fostering sustainable rural development and economic resilience
Psychoeducation on Bullying Behaviour in Grade 6 Students of Public Primary School 06 Tanjung Batu
Purpose: Awareness of bullying’s negative impacts has grown significantly. Many studies highlight its physical, emotional, and psychological effects on both victims and perpetrators.
Method: The methods used in this community service are observation, interview, and socialization in Public Primary School 06 Tanjung Batu.
Practical Application: The psychoeducation program effectively helped students understand the importance of respecting differences, showing empathy, and maintaining positive social relationships.
Conclusion: Psychoeducation for grade 6 students at SDN 06 Tanjung Batu improved understanding of bullying from both the victim’s and perpetrator’s perspectives. Using materials, animated videos, ice breaking, discussions, and quizzes, students recognized types of bullying, its impacts, and ways to respond positively. The program promoted empathy, respect, and social harmony, contributing to a safer school environment
Application of Behavioristic Learning Theory With The Qiro'ah Method In Al-Qur'an Memorization Learning
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the application of the Qiro’ah method in Qur’an memorization. This method emphasizes systematic recitation, mastery of correct tajwid (rules of Qur’anic recitation), and the use of supportive learning media to enhance the memorization process.
Method: A descriptive qualitative field approach was employed to examine the use of paper-based media in Qur’an memorization through the Qiro’ah method at the Tarbiyatul Ajyaal Darussalam Foundation.
Practical Applications: In practice, the Qiro’ah method is designed to help students understand and memorize Qur’anic verses more effectively, while also improving the quality of their recitation according to the rules of tajwid. The structured repetition and integration of learning tools support both retention and proper pronunciation.
Conclusion: Rooted in behaviorist theory, the Qiro’ah method proves effective in enhancing students’ motivation, consistency, and overall quality of Qur’an memorization. Its success is driven by systematic repetition and positive reinforcement. Despite challenges such as varying learning abilities and limited resources, the method remains a structured, engaging, and relevant approach to Qur’anic education
Enhancing MSME Capacity Through Product Innovation for Sustainable Community Empowerment
Purpose: This study addresses challenges faced by Bianana MSME in Malang, Indonesia, including stagnant product innovation and inefficient manual packaging, which hinder competitiveness. It aims to enhance MSME capacity through technological adoption and flavor innovation to support sustainable local economic development.
Method: A community service approach was employed, involving problem identification, training, and evaluation. Data were collected via observation, interviews, and direct assessment, focusing on implementing continuous sealer technology and developing new flavor variants.
Practical Applications: The use of continuous sealer machines improved packaging efficiency, extended shelf life from 2 to 4–5 weeks, reduced product damage to below 3%, and increased daily production by 35%. Product innovation training enabled the creation of market-responsive flavors, enhancing competitiveness and market reach.
Conclusion: The integration of technology and innovation significantly improved product quality and business performance, demonstrating an effective model for sustainable MSME development and community empowerment
Strengthening the Capacity of Village Government Officials in Negeri Suli, Salahutu District, Central Maluku Regency
Purpose: This community service activity aimed to strengthen the capacity of village government officials in Negeri Suli, Salahutu District, Central Maluku Regency. The main issue addressed was the limited skills and knowledge of officials in governance, administration, financial management, public service, and technology utilization, which affect the efficiency and accountability of village administration.
Method: The program was conducted through a combination of training, workshops, technical guidance, simulations, and hands-on exercises. Participants engaged in practical exercises for document management, budgeting, public service delivery, and the use of digital tools. Feedback and evaluations were incorporated to monitor progress and improve learning outcomes.
Practical Applications: The results enhanced officials’ ability to plan, implement, and monitor village programs effectively. Improved administrative skills, financial transparency, and digital literacy allow for more efficient service delivery, better community engagement, and accountable governance.
Conclusion: The program successfully strengthened the competence of village officials, promoting efficient, transparent, and citizen-oriented administration, providing a sustainable foundation for future village development initiatives
Enhancing the Competitiveness of MSMEs Through Halal Certification Counseling, NIB Registration, and Trademark Registration in Pagar Agung Sub-district, Walantaka District, Serang City
Purpose: This community service aims to improve the competitiveness of MSMEs in Pagar Agung Village by addressing low legal awareness through halal certification counseling, NIB registration, and trademark assistance.
Method: The program involved MSME identification, counseling, technical assistance, and monitoring to support participants in completing business legality processes.
Practical Application: Around 70% of participants began the registration processes, leading to improved consumer trust and market access. The program offers a replicable model for enhancing MSME competitiveness.
Conclusion: The initiative increased legal awareness and had a positive impact on MSME growth. Continued support is needed to help all participants complete the legality process and remain competitive
Partnership Synergy for Improving Farmers' Economy in Sepakung Village, Semarang Regency
Purpose: The main purpose of this service activity is to provide training on the development of business partnership networks that can open up more potential market opportunities, as well as have a positive impact on increasing the income of guava farmers in Sepakung Village. With the formation of a good partnership, it is hoped that a faster and more targeted business scheme can be built and be able to offer more competitive prices in the market.
Method: The service methods carried out are: Needs Assessment, Development, Cooperation Exploration, Monitoring, and Evaluation.
Practical Application: The results of the community service program show a positive impact on increasing the understanding of guava farmers regarding the development of partnership networks and marketing strategies. This increase in understanding can be seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test which showed a significant increase in various indicators. This shows that the training provided has successfully equipped farmers with practical skills that can be directly applied to expand market access, establish wider partnerships, and maximize profits from crops.
Conclusion: Based on the results of community service activities in Sepakung Village, Semarang Regency, this program has succeeded in improving the understanding and skills of guava farmers in the development of partnership networks and marketing strategies. Pre-test and post-test data showed a significant increase, especially in the use of social media for promotion. The understanding of marketing strategies and market analysis has also improved
Data House: Digitalization Profile and Dynamics Population Wonorejo with Website Development for Support Becoming a Smart Village
Purpose: This project aims to develop and implement a web-based information system in Wonorejo Village to address inefficiencies in administrative processes and limitations in digital access for both village officials and the community. The research explores the importance of digital transformation in village administration and its potential to improve public services.
Method: A participatory approach was used, including direct observation and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with village officials. Website development was carried out to support administrative functions, followed by training sessions for the village officials. Data was collected through pre- and post-training surveys to measure improvements in efficiency and digital literacy.
Practical Application: The results of the community service show that implementing the website increased administrative efficiency, reduced service time, and expanded access to information for the public.
Conclusion: The web-based information system successfully improved administrative efficiency and enhanced the digital literacy of village officials. These findings reinforce the role of technology in strengthening village governance and demonstrate potential for replication in other rural areas
Enhancing Student Competence Through Visits to Karangmumus River School to Study Its Ecology Using the River Continuum Concept
Purpose: This study aims to enhance student's environmental awareness, particularly regarding river ecology, through an experiential learning approach. The primary activity in this research is a field visit by students to the Karangmumus River School, allowing them to compare theoretical knowledge learned in class with real-world conditions.
Method: The study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and student reflections after the field visit.
Practical Application: The findings reveal that the visit significantly improved students' understanding of river conservation and the impact of human activities on river ecosystems. Furthermore, the activity motivated students to contribute to environmental preservation efforts. Thus, integrating classroom theory with field experiences effectively fostered environmental awareness among students.
Conclusion: This study shows that experiential learning through field visits to the Karangmumus River School significantly increases students' awareness of river ecology and environmental conservation
Implementation of a Participatory Approach to Improve Access to and Motivation for Primary Education for Children in Boralan Hamlet
Purpose: This study aims to improve children’s learning participation and motivation in Boralan Hamlet by addressing low school engagement caused by parents’ limited understanding of education, not poverty. Through a participatory program, it involves families, schools, and the community to support dropouts and increase access to education.
Method: This study used a mixed-method approach, combining surveys and interviews with observations, document reviews, and community focus group discussions. The program had four steps: identifying education barriers, training parents and local facilitators, running learning activities through the Community Learning Center (PKBM), and providing ongoing mentoring and evaluation. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were grouped into themes to understand community experiences and opinions.
Practical Applications: The findings offer practical guidance for improving education in rural areas by involving families and communities to boost motivation and help dropouts return to learning. Strengthening PKBM centers and using community-driven approaches can support inclusive, non-formal education initiatives.
Conclusion: The participatory education program in Boralan Hamlet successfully increased children’s motivation and learning participation. The structured, multi-stakeholder approach—focusing on empowering families and strengthening PKBM—proved to be a sustainable and replicable model for improving access to basic education in underserved communities
