Hand Washing Movement Simulation to Increase Self-Efficacy Towards a Healthy Lifestyle in Children
Purpose: To provide material on clean and healthy living to increase the understanding of students at SDN 17 Tanjung Batu about the importance of maintaining cleanliness in everyday life.
Method: This community service activity used two methods: the first was education, and the second was demonstration.
Practical Application: This activity is useful for providing children with knowledge about maintaining cleanliness through the Hand Washing Movement, helping them avoid disease.
Conclusion: The hand washing movement simulation to increase self-efficacy towards a healthy lifestyle in children significantly enhanced their confidence in practicing healthy behaviors. Through an interactive and engaging simulation, the children not only learned about the importance of hand washing in preventing the spread of disease but also felt more confident in making it a daily habit
Promotional Strategies for Culinary Tourism in Enhancing Destination Image and Increasing the Revenue of Micro Enterprises in Wanayasa, Purwakarta
Purpose: The service aims to highlight how various marketing strategies such as social media, food festivals and various local cultural bases can contribute. In the economic growth of the culinary sector according to the increase in the attractiveness of tourist destinations
Method: This service uses an approach using direct observation to observe the social and economic conditions of the community and the dissemination of questionnaires to collect data on the needs and aspirations of residents. The results of the analysis are used to design the right solution for the target community.
Practical Application: The results of this service can be a reference for local governments, business actors and local communities in designing more effective promotional strategies to increase the attractiveness of culinary tourism destinations. This growth is also beneficial for culinary micro business owners in optimizing the marketing of their products through social media and experience-based promotional activities such as Culinary Festivals and collaborations with influencers.
Conclusion: Promotion strategies through social media and culinary festivals strengthen the image of the destination, increase tourist visits, and support the income of culinary micro businesses. Collaboration between the government, business actors, and local communities is needed to create sustainable marketing to develop culinary tourism in Wanayasa, Purwakarta

Purpose: This study aims to analyze human resources based on interests and talents in cassava processing innovation through the 3P Program (Production, Packaging, Marketing) in Minggir Village, highlighting its role in local economic development.
Method: Using the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach, data were collected through interviews, participatory observation, and documentation to assess community involvement.
Practical Application: The 3P Program encourages local women and cadres to engage in cassava product innovation, offering a replicable model for rural entrepreneurship and community empowerment.
Conclusion: The research shows strong human resource potential in Minggir Village, evidenced by the active participation of PKK women and cadres in the 3P Program, contributing to sustainable local innovation and economic growth
Assistance in Management of BUMDes Sumberdem Gemilang in Realizing Village Economic Independence
Purpose: Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) play a vital role in community welfare but often face challenges due to limited resources and managerial capacity. This program aims to develop BUMDes based on local assets in Sumberedem Village, Malang Regency.
Method: The program applies the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, focusing on asset identification and strengthening managerial skills.
Practical Application: Program results show improved BUMDes managerial capabilities in business planning, financial management, and marketing. Asset identification also spurred new community-driven economic initiatives, supporting business diversification and increasing BUMDes income.
Conclusion: The assistance significantly boosted the village economy, reinforcing BUMDes’ role in promoting welfare. Continued support and stronger partnerships with private and government sectors are needed to sustain progress
Training on the use of online payment tools for MSMEs in Tambaan Village, Pasuruan City
Purpose: The use of E-Wallets as a payment for several merchants such as ShopeePay and others is very helpful as an effective and efficient payment transaction tool that is also capable of integrating with software that uses the InterActive QRIS Open API Platform.
Method: The Program using a socialisation method regarding the benefits of using QRIS, as many MSME actors are still unaware of information on online payment usage.
Practical Applications: The activity were directly practised by Tambaan Village MSME actors in using the QRIS application for payment transactions. Thus, the objective of this community service activity is to educate SME operators in Tambaan Village, Pasuruan to enable them to compete and transform in the digital era.
Conclusion: MSME actors have been able to understand the importance and benefits of using the Shopee Pay application as a digital payment tool using QRIS. MSME actors are able to apply and manage their Shopee Pay business accounts for transactions and as other payment tools to develop their businesses
Optimizing Healthy Movement Through Gymnastics and Consumption of Healthy Food For Odgj at UPTD Liposos
Purpose: This study aims to optimize the Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS) among People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ) at UPTD Liposos Jember through gymnastics and healthy eating. It addresses Indonesia’s triple burden of disease, emphasizing mental health as a key non-communicable disease, and promotes holistic recovery through physical activity and nutrition.
Method: A community service design was used, involving 49 participants (29 students, 20 ODGJ). Activities followed three stages: orientation, implementation (joint gymnastics and education on healthy food), and evaluation via sharing sessions. The approach was guided by Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR).
Practical Applications: The intervention enhances physical and mental health, social interaction, and health awareness. It can be replicated in rehabilitation centers to reduce stigma and improve quality of life.
Conclusion: The GERMAS-based activity successfully boosted enthusiasm, well-being, and social engagement, demonstrating its value in mental health promotion and sustainable behavior change
Socialization of Food Sovereignty Through a Communication Approach Based on Local Wisdom
Purpose: The objectives of this community service activity are: (1) socialization of the concept of food sovereignty to the community in building sustainable welfare. (2) increasing public understanding of the relationship between food independence and quality of life. (3) encouraging community participation in the practice of food sovereignty based on intercultural communication through deliberation.
Method: The author uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The participants who attended included 30 individuals, and the study employed participatory observation, interviews, and documentation.
Practical Applications: The results of the interviews were then analyzed thematically by the author and then grouped based on similarities in views expressed by 5 informants.
Conclusion: A communication strategy rooted in local knowledge can enhance awareness; however, sustained efforts and institutional backing are essential for achieving genuine transformation through collaboration with government entities, non-governmental organizations, and the community, particularly the youth
Training on the Production of Organic Compost Fertilizer from Mushroom Baglog Waste
Purpose: Organic waste from oyster mushroom cultivation bags in Gayungan Village, RW 03, has long been underutilized. The purpose of making compost from oyster mushroom cultivation bag waste is to improve the community's knowledge and skills in sustainable waste management.
Method: The training was conducted through socialization, question and answer sessions, and mentoring, involving 25 participants. The approach used was as follows: quantitative data was collected through pre- and post-training evaluations, while qualitative insights were obtained from interviews and field observations. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and thematic analysis.
Practical Applications: This training effectively improves participants' knowledge and skills in processing mushroom baglog waste into organic fertilizer. This raises public awareness, reduces waste accumulation, and encourages environmentally friendly agricultural practices. Some residents have implemented composting techniques independently, demonstrating the potential for small-scale economic development. This program supports sustainable waste management and community empowerment.
Conclusion: This program demonstrates that targeted environmental education combined with hands-on practice can foster behavioral change, promote circular economy principles, and enhance community resilience through sustainable agriculture
Parental Involvement in Social Support (A Case Study of Bullying Victims Among Junior High School Students Reported to the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) of Palembang Police Department)
Purpose: This study aims to examine parental involvement in providing social support to bullying victims among junior high school students who reported cases to the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) of Palembang Metropolitan Resort Police (Polrestabes Palembang). The research addresses the critical need to understand how parental support influences the psychological recovery of children experiencing bullying.
Method: The research employed qualitative observation method to gain in-depth understanding of emotional development and communication patterns of children who are victims of bullying.
Practical Applications: The observation was conducted in a private room at SPKT after the victim completed the suspect report form, focusing on social interactions, facial expressions, emotional responses, and daily communication skills.
Conclusion: Bullying has serious psychological impacts on victims, including anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. Victims tend to withdraw and feel isolated. Polrestabes Palembang has implemented educational outreach and counseling in schools to prevent and address bullying cases. Parental involvement proves crucial as a protective factor in children's recovery process
Training and Assistance in Developing Tourism Potential of Sumberdem Village as an Effort to Achieve Economic Independence
Purpose: This program aimed to empower the Sumberdem Village community by optimizing local potential—coffee and lemon products—through tourism development to strengthen economic independence.
Method: The approach used Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), involving the community in mapping resources, socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. Activities included technical assistance for product processing, tourism management, and digital marketing strategies.
Practical Applications: The program enhanced community skills in product diversification and tourism services, supported infrastructure development, and created new economic opportunities through merchandise kiosks and integrated marketing.
Conclusion: PRA effectively increased community capacity and independence, strengthened village identity as an educational tourism destination, and demonstrated the potential for sustainable local economic growth
