IDENTIFIKASI FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENYEBAB PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK SISWA: SEBUAH STUDI DESKRIPTIF PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA
This research aims to describe what internal and external factors cause academic procrastination among students at SMP Negeri 22 Jambi City. The method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative approach. The sample in this research is class VIII students for the 2023/2024 academic year with a total sample of 88 students. The sampling technique uses total sampling technique. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire containing 21 statement items, then the results obtained were analyzed using the percentage formula formula C. The results of the analysis obtained proved that internal and external factors were recognized as causes of academic procrastination of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 22 Jambi City. Internal factors within students are of medium quality with a percentage of 50.5% and external factors are of good quality with a percentage of 64%
PENGARUH DUKUNGAN SOSIAL TEMAN SEBAYA TERHADAP KEPERCAYAAN DIRI SISWA DI SMA NEGERI 2 KOTA JAMBI
The aim of this research is to see whether there is an influence of peer social support behavior on students' self-confidence at SMA Negeri 2 Jambi City. This type of research is quantitative research using the expost-facto method. The population in this study were students from classes XII IPA 1 to The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire and the measurement scale used in this research is the Likert scale. Furthermore, in the statistical assumption test, there are two conditions that must be met, namely the data normality test and the data linearity test, and this research uses a simple regression analysis technique to measure the influence of peer social support behavior (X) on self-confidence (Y) with the help of the SPSS version. 25. The results of this research show that the determination is at 0.175 or 17.5%. The criteria for interpreting the influence of determination of 0.175 or 17.5% are in the quite strong category (0.17 – 0.49), so this research shows that there is a significant influence between the social support variable of peers (X) on self-confidence (Y)
STUDI KASUS: KONSELING KELOMPOK CLIENT-CENTERED DALAM MENGURANGI PERILAKU MEMBOLOS EKSTRAKURIKULER PRAMUKA PADA SISWA KELAS IX MTsN 2 SURABAYA
The behavior of skipping compulsory extracurricular classes at school is a phenomenon that often occurs, especially truant in scout extracurricular activities. This behavior can negatively impact student participation and learning experience in scout activities. Truant behavior can be reduced little by little through one of the counseling approaches, namely client-centered, this article aims to identify client-centered counseling approaches that are effective in reducing scout truant behavior carried out at State Islamic Junior High School 2 Surabaya. The method used is descriptive field research with a case study design. The subjects in this study were four class IX-C students who indicated truant behavior in high scouts at State Islamic Junior High School 2 Surabaya. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study concluded that the provision of client-centered group counseling services was quite effective in reducing the truant behavior of scouts. The author conducted interviews first before identifying the provision of client-centered group counseling services carried out by guidance and counseling teachers or counselors to grade IX-C students at State Islamic Junior High School 2 Surabaya
SUPPORTING AND INHIBITING FACTORS FOR TEACHERS IN DEALING WITH DELINQUENT BEHAVIOR IN STUDENTS
This research aims to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for teachers in dealing with students' delinquent behavior. The research location is Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Akhlak Biaro Baru. The method used in this research is qualitative. The research sample consisted of 6 people consisting of 1 school principal, 1 Guidance Counseling teacher, 1 Deputy Principal for Student Affairs, and 3 students. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and the final step is drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the research stated that the supporting factors for the guidance and counseling teacher's strategy in overcoming delinquent behavior were that the principal and homeroom teacher supported the existence of counseling guidance activities, students with these activities experienced changes, little by little leaving behind the actions they experienced. Meanwhile, factors inhibiting guidance and counseling teachers from overcoming delinquent behavior include non-existent guidance and counseling rooms, inadequate guidance and counseling facilities, lack of time, and entrenched delinquent behavior
KONSELING SEBAYA SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF PENURUNAN PERILAKU PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK [PEER COUNSELING AS AN ALTERNATIVE FOR ACADEMIC PROCRASTINATION BEHAVIOR]
Peer counseling is an alternative approach in counseling services to help individuals carried out by peers. Peer counseling is seen as important because in today's era, individuals more often discuss the problems they face with their peers than with parents or teachers. Peer counseling makes it easier for individuals to talk more comfortably to peers. Therefore, this counseling is suitable for individuals, especially those who have Academic Procrastination Behavior. Peers who do counseling require competencies that must be possessed to support the success of counseling and create good relationships with friends. The method used in this research is a literature study by collecting various kinds of journals related to the subject of the research. The results based on this study can be concluded that peer counseling is an alternative approach that has effectiveness for individuals who have academic procrastination behavior. By using these alternatives, individuals who have Academic Procrastination Behavior have the convenience to tell stories and are able to overcome the problems they face
TEKNIK JOURNALING DALAM KONSELING
Abstrak Journaling (diary) is allow clients to express and externalize their thoughts, feelings, and expressions that are usually kept for the private internal realm. However, what makes journaling a therapeutic technique is that thid written expression is brought into counseling session and shared with the counselor openly, and becomes the driving force of the counseling. Journaling also helps keep clients focused on counseling goals when they are not in counseling session. Counseling is assistance given a counselor to the clients to solve problems. In this study, researcher used an approach of library research. In this case, the researcher “talk” a lot, “dialogues: a lot with books, archives, documents, journals, notes, statistical documentation, diaries, letters, and others. The result show that journaling technique is a technique that can help someone in directing their thoughts from the irrational to the rational. STUDI KOMPARATIF KONSEP QUR'ANIC PARENTING DAN PSYCHOLOGY PARENTING
Artikel ini mengkaji tentang konsep Qur'anic Parenting dan Psychology Parenting dengan melakukan analisa perbandingan konsep parenting yang termaktub dalam al-Qur'an dan konsep parenting yang dikembangkan oleh Psikolog Barat. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif-analitis dengan metode komparatif, dapat dilihat bahwa ada beberapa perbedaan dan persamaan antara konsep Qur'anic Parenting dan Psychology Parenting. Dalam hal ini, beberapa perbedaan tampak dari pertama, konsep Qur'anic Parenting memperhatikan aspek spiritual, intelektual dan fisik, sedangkan dalam konsep Psychology Parenting menitik beratkan pada aspek emotional, intelektual dan fisik. Kedua, tahapan pendidikan anak, dalam Qur'anic Parenting terdapat tahap; pra-konsepsi, pra-natal dan post-natal. Sedangkan dalam Psychology Parenting memiliki tahap; pra-natal, anak-anak, remaja dan dewasa. Adapun persamaan atau titik temunya terlihat dari metode ideal yang diajarkan dalam Quranic parenting yakni pola asuh demokratis, sebagaimana pula dalam psikologi yang menjadikan metode demokratis sebagai pola asuh yang baik. Kata Kunci : Qur'anic Parenting, Psychology Parenting.
KONSEP GURU DALAM PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DITINJAU DARI PERSPEKTIF AL-QUR’AN
This research aims to describe the concept of teachers in Islamic education from the perspective of the Holy Quran. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results of this research show that a teacher is someone who is responsible for guiding, directing and being a role model for their students. Teachers have the most important responsibility and role, because a teacher must be able to direct and guide students so that they have intelligence and good manners that will be implemented in carrying out their lives. In Islamic education, teachers do not only convey their knowledge, but as educators they must also be responsible for the development of their students’ behavior so that morals are formed
EFEKTIVITAS PERMAINAN ULAR TANGGA KARIR UNTUK MENGINKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KARIR (FASE GROWTH) PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
Kematangan karir pada fase growth penting untuk mempersiapkan diri peserta didik dalam menghadapi tugas-tugas perkembangan terkait dengan karir dan pemilihan karir yang stabil dan realistis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kematangan karir siswa sd pada fase growth melalui permainan ular tangga. Metode penelitian menggunakan pre-eksperimen untuk mencari pengaruh perlakuan tertentu dengan one group prettest-posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan 20 poin dengan rata-rata pretest 67,3 menjadi 87,33 pada rata-rata post test dan kategori N-Gain skor tinggi dengan N-Gain score senesar 0,74.Kata Kunci: Kematangan karir; permainan; fase growth, ular tangg
PENDEKATAN KONSELING SUFISTIK PADA TRANSFORMASI PECANDU NAPZA DI PONDOK REHABILITASI TETIRAH DZIKIR SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA
Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada pembaca tentang penerapan konseling sufistik untuk pecandu narkoba di Pusat Rehabilitasi Tetirah di Sleman, Yogyakarta. Narkoba yang awalnya dikembangkan untuk tujuan medis atau penelitian, kini sering disalahgunakan. Di Pusat Rehabilitasi Tetirah, konseling sufistik diterapkan untuk merawat pasien, yang disebut mahasantri, yang menderita kecanduan narkoba. Konseling ini, yang melibatkan takhalli, tahalli, dan tajalli, berfungsi sebagai metode penyembuhan berdasarkan pengetahuan sufistik. Data tentang kondisi mahasantri dan praktik konseling sufistik dikumpulkan dari sumber-sumber melalui presentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Data tersebut kemudian diorganisir secara tematis, dipetakan, dan dianalisis menggunakan teori-teori konseling sufistik untuk memperkuat temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses konseling sufistik, termasuk ritual seperti mandi tobat, sholat, khalwat, dan dzikir, dapat mengubah pecandu narkoba menjadi individu yang lebih sehat dan berhenti menggunakan narkoba.
