No full textThe study of market structures is a key aspect of microeconomic theory as it provides a framework for understanding firm behaviors and outcomes. Market structure refers to the characteristics and organization of a market that influence how firms set prices, determine output levels, and maximize profits. This paper discusses the four main market structures: perfect competition, monopolistic competition, oligopoly, and monopoly. Each market structure differs in terms of the number of firms, the degree of product differentiation, barriers to entry, and information transparency, all of which shape pricing strategies and firms' ability to sustain or maximize profits. The study also analyzes how firms' pricing strategies are influenced by each market structure and the real-world implications of these theoretical models in practice

No full textThis article examines coastal erosion management policies in Demak Regency, Central Java, one of the most severely affected regions by coastal abrasion in Indonesia. Coastal erosion, driven by both natural factors and human activities, threatens the sustainability of coastal ecosystems as well as the social and economic livelihoods of local communities. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study analyzes various policies implemented, ranging from hard infrastructure development to ecosystem-based approaches such as mangrove rehabilitation. The findings reveal that although some policies have shown effectiveness, challenges such as weak inter-agency coordination, limited funding, and low community participation continue to hinder optimal implementation. This article highlights the importance of integrated and sustainable policies, as well as the need for cross-sectoral collaboration to protect coastal spaces and support the welfare of coastal communities. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers in formulating more effective strategies to address the issue of coastal erosion

No full textThis research aims to find out: (1) an overview of the forms of trauma experienced by the Patani Muslim community after the violent conflict in Southern Thailand, (2) how the mental recovery of Muslim communities after violent conflict using traumatic guidance in Southern Thailand, and (3) obstacles to the mental recovery of Muslim communities after violent conflict using traumatic guidance in Southern Thailand. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through field research techniques. The participants of this research were victims who experienced post-conflict violence trauma and counselors at the Patani Women's Association organization. The data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation techniques. This research data analysis technique was carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the form of trauma experienced by post-conflict victims in South Tahiland is in the form of physical and psychological trauma, (2) the process of mental healing of Muslim communities after violent conflict using traumatic guidance is carried out using the motivational interviewing counseling method which consists of 4 stages, namely building involvement (engaging), focusing goals (focusing), evoking motivation (evoking), and planning changes (planning), (3) The obstacles to the implementation of this traumatic guidance are the lack of social support from the victim's family relatives and emotional disturbances or unstable behavior of the victim

No full textThis study aims to analyze community empowerment in mitigation, reconstruction, and rehabilitation in disaster-prone areas due to Class C mining operations in Kampar Regency. The primary focus of this research is to explore the role of community empowerment in addressing the environmental impacts caused by illegal mining, as well as the efforts that can be made to improve the social and economic conditions in these areas. The research method used is literature review, where the researcher analyzes various journals, books, articles, and previous studies that discuss topics related to community empowerment in the context of disasters and mining. The literature analyzed includes studies on the environmental impacts of Class C mining and the community empowerment strategies applied in disaster-prone areas. The results of the study show that low community participation in empowerment programs is a major barrier in mitigation and rehabilitation efforts. Communities around mining areas often lack awareness of the long-term environmental damage caused, and as a result, they are more focused on immediate economic benefits. Additionally, limited access to information, facilities, and budget constraints hinder the success of empowerment programs. This research recommends the development of an integrated database system, increasing community participation through education and training, and strengthening synergies between the government, communities, and the private sector in environmental rehabilitation efforts

No full textIndonesia faces a high risk of natural disasters, one of which is flooding, particularly in lowland areas. This study aims to analyze the altruistic behavior and resilience of communities affected by floods in Pedurenan Sub-district, Karang Tengah District, Tangerang City, Banten. The research employs a quantitative method with a percentage descriptive approach using a Likert Scale to measure levels of altruism. The findings reveal that the majority of the community (63%) demonstrates a moderate level of altruism, with significant contributions from younger age groups and low-income residents. Social solidarity is evident in collective actions during disasters, such as assisting with evacuation and providing basic necessities. Altruistic behavior is influenced by various factors, including age, income level, and length of residency. These findings offer recommendations to enhance community capacity in disaster response through strengthened solidarity and improved social management

No full textKeterampilan sosial sangat penting bagi remaja dalam membangun hubungan, menyesuaikan diri, dan menyelesaikan konflik. Salah satu cara untuk mendukung perkembangan keterampilan ini adalah melalui teman sebaya, terutama dalam kegiatan PIK-R (Pusat Informasi dan Konseling Remaja). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran konselor sebaya dalam PIK-R terhadap keterampilan sosial remaja di SMPN 70 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek tiga konselor sebaya dan tujuh siswa yang aktif mengikuti kegiatan PIK-R. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konselor sebaya berperan dalam memberikan dukungan emosional, sosial, dan moral, meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang kesehatan mental, serta membantu teman sebaya dalam mengembangkan keterampilan seperti komunikasi, empati, pengendalian diri, dan pemecahan masalah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling sebaya dalam PIK-R dapat menjadi cara yang efektif untuk mendukung perkembangan keterampilan sosial remaja di sekolah

No full textThis study aims to analyze financial performance in predicting stock value and offers a new perspective by exploring how dividend policy can strengthen or weaken the influence of financial performance on the stock value of Sharia Food and Beverages Stock companies. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. Data analysis used in this study is using panel data regression with a purposive sampling method. The population in this study were 7 food and beverage sector companies in the sharia stock category in 2018-2023. While the sample in this study was the annual financial reports of 7 food and beverage sector companies in the sharia stock category in 2018-2023 as many as 42 data. And the results of the hypothesis test show that the ROA, Current Ratio, DER and TATO variables have a significant positive effect on Stock Price, in addition, dividend policy is able to moderate the effect of the Current Ratio, DER and TATO variables on Stock Price. However, dividend policy does not moderate the effect of the ROA variable on Stock Price. This finding implies that the company's financial performance in general has an important role in determining investor perceptions of the company's stock value. Thus, company management needs to pay attention to increasing the efficiency of asset use (TATO), liquidity (Current Ratio), and capital structure (DER), as well as the ability to generate profits (ROA) to attract investor interest and encourage an increase in share price

No full textWest Pasaman Regency, located in West Sumatra Province, faces a high risk of coastal disasters such as extreme waves and coastal abrasion. This study focuses on Muaro Sasak Beach, an area with increasing environmental degradation due to wave action and sedimentation. The aim of this research is to analyze spatial disaster threats and formulate mitigation strategies using risk-based assessments. The study applies a composite index model based on BNPB (2020) guidelines and Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) to map threats and prioritize actions. Results indicate that 50.11% of the 563.52-hectare coastal zone is at high risk. The ISM framework identifies ecosystem restoration and risk mapping as top-priority strategies, followed by structural protections and land use policies. This research provides evidence-based recommendations to support disaster management planning in coastal areas of Pasaman Barat

No full textThis study analyzes the implementation of the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) at Prof. Dr. H. M. Anwar Makkatutu Regional Hospital, Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi, focusing on infrastructure, human resources (HR), and operational procedures. SIMRS is designed to integrate hospital services, administration, and management to improve efficiency and healthcare quality. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and direct observation of hospital management, SIMRS staff, and service users. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify obstacles, supporting factors, and the role of management. The findings show that SIMRS implementation remains suboptimal. Key obstacles include internet and server disruptions, limited computer facilities, and inadequate number and competence of HR. Technical training is infrequent, and SOP application is inconsistent due to technical issues and system incompatibility. Supporting factors include management support, system integration between units, and basic operator understanding of the Kanza application. In conclusion, SIMRS success depends on infrastructure readiness, HR capacity, and procedural consistency. A sustainable integration strategy is required to overcome these barriers and strengthen the hospital information system for optimal service delivery
