Many hinders in learning English made the government and the education institution should work together in solving this problem. A short course namely Fun with English then proposed to omit the problem. The purpose of this course was to improve students’ communication skills in using English as well as improving their motivation and confidence. The program was done for two months. The participant of this program was the students from the nearby junior high school. After finishing the program students felt motivated less anxious and more confident in using English as their everyday language. It is expected that the similar program could be done regularly

Training to make benches learn from used goods to learners, actually aims to use motor skills and direct learners to do simple activities but have a very positive impact on the growth and development of learners themselves. This method of activity is a training that has several simple stages, ranging from providing explanations about the benefits of used goods and motor skills, learners are formed in groups in an organized manner, prepare materials and tools, then carry out tasks by utilizing tools and materials in making study benches. The result of this training activity is in the form of objects that are useful or have useful value, namely a simple learning bench in accordance with the creativity of learners and the achievement of the utilization of motor skills in a more useful direction for the learners themselves. Thus it can be concluded that the activities of this training can create enthusiasm in using the motor skills of learners early on, so that it can be one of the provisions for their survival

It is because the language is one of the tools to communicate with other people such as for education, business, tourism, politics, and other sectors. Ungga has a good potency to be developed in promoting the village to be one of the tourism places in central Lombok because it is near to the Mandalika spots. Consequently, human resources are needed to be prepared related to the knowledge and the skills. One of the ways to achieve the goals is providing English training either for young people or for children. Teaching English has numerous challenges. However, designing collaborative learning with some games would encourage them in learning. Children enjoy playing games both online or offline with peers or friends so that collaborative learning by designing a fun concept is one of the effective ways to teach and learn English. Several games were provided such as guess voices, mix, and match, and Find Friends. Besides, partnership among universities, village officers, and communities is crucial to maintaining sustainability so that the university collaborated with one of the communities in the village “Jage Kestare Foundation” to conduct the activity. Teaching English learning goal is not only for learning English but also incorporating gender equality values in the teaching and learning process through materials and activities. The results of the community service activity are that the learners become more active in learning English and more aware of gender equality values. It is expected that by empowering the women and children in the village through learning English by incorporating gender values, it will be able to empower the communities particularly for women and children, and to gain revenue-generating

Get PDFThe increasing density of the number of students is feared to cause the land around the Islamic boarding school to accumulate garbage and the environment around the Islamic boarding school to become polluted. As a step to overcome these problems, one of the efforts that can be done is by utilizing the waste produced, for example recycling and reusing plastic bottle waste. At this time, plastic bottle waste can be used as a useful medium, one of which is by farming using hydroponic media by utilizing used plastic bottles that are around Islamic boarding schools. The objectives to be achieved in this community service research are 1) to provide skills to the students on how to make hydroponic planting media without using a large area of land; 2) utilize the plastic bottle waste produced into something useful; 3) as an alternative source of food in the form of vegetables for Islamic boarding schools. The method used is the ABCD (Asset Based Community Driven) method which focuses on hydroponic planting using used materials that are around the cottage. The ABCD method is considered appropriate to be applied because it is asset-based which is in line with the potential possessed by Islamic boarding schools. The ABCD method has six stages, namely 1) discovery, 2) dream, 3) design, 4) define, 5) destiny, and 6) reflection. The results of community service research show that with the use of used bottles as hydroponic media, the amount of used plastic bottle waste in Islamic boarding schools can be reduced and it is hoped that it can form a clean and beautiful environment, and the results of hydroponic planting media can be used as an alternative source of energy. food in Islamic boarding schools

This research is a quantitative approach research with the research object of the National Road Implementation Unit IV Region. NTT Province KDP 6.2 Ende-Wolowaru Section. The population in this study is the National Road Implementation Unit IV Region. NTT Province KDP 6.2 Ende-Wolowaru Section. The sample of this research is contract workers of PPK 6.2 Ende-Wolowaru segment. The research data is primary data obtained directly through the research questionnaire which was distributed to 30 respondents. The variables of this study consisted of independent variables, namely internal control of the payroll accounting system and the dependent variable was the ethical behavior of employees, the data analysis used simple linear regression after the data was collected, the data were analyzed using the SPSS 21 program. The results showed that the internal control variable significantly influenced the ethical behavior of employees

The data analysis technique used is a descriptive qualitative analysis method of data collected compiled, grouped, and analyzed so that it can provide a true picture of the recognition of income and expenses and see the comparison of recording financial statements conducted by CV. Putra Tunggal Mandiri with PSAK No. 34 The results of this study indicate that (1) CV. Putra Tunggal Mandiri in running a project that is more than one accounting period (long-term construction contract), the company applies the percentage of completion method in recognizing opinions and expenses. (2) The company has not applied it as a basis for the recognition of revenues and expenses, as evidenced in 2018 the company recognizes that revenue is too small. This happens because the company only recognizes revenue worth the project down payment, which is 30% of the total contract value, which is 30% xRp. 199,228,000 = Rp. 59,768,400, according to PSAK No. 34 works were completed in 2018 at 82.3% of the contract value of 82.3% x Rp. 199,228,000 = Rp. 163,964,644 which consists of raw material costs, labor costs and overhead costs. The purpose of this study is to describe how short-term memory is in learning mathematics. This research method is a literature study. Literature study examines theories based on books, articles, notes, and reports related to the problems studied. The sources of data needed by researchers in this literature review are using primary sources and secondary sources. Data analysis aims to obtain answers from the formulation of the problem that has been determined, data analysis is carried out in an inductive and interpretive way. The result of this research is that the source of working memory during learning is explained in single-digit arithmetic learning, multi-digit arithmetic learning. Meanwhile, working memory in children with math difficulties is found in verbal working memory and visual-spatial working memory

Get PDFTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan makna yang terkandung dalam Tuturan Ritual Hapo Ana pada masyarakat Desa Matei Kecamatan Sabu Tengah, Kabupaten Sabu Raijua. masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah makna apa sajakah yang terdapat dalam Tuturan Ritual hapo anapada masyarakat Desa Matei Kecamatan Sabu Tengah Kabupaten Sabu Raijua. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Hermeneutika. metode yang digunakan penulis dalam mengkaji makna dalam tuturan ritual “hapo ana” ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upacara ritual hapo ana terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu (1) Atte ahhu (potong tali pusar); (2) Ketoe nyebbu (gantung ari-ari); (3) Pehune ngara (pemberian nama) dan (4) Hapo ana (penyambutan anak). Sementara makna terkandung dalam tuturan ritual hapo ana pada masyarakat Desa Matei Kecamatan Sabu Tengah, Kabupaten Sabu Raijua adalalah sebagai berikut (a) Makna Religius; (2) Makna Kebersamaan; (3) Makna Kesopanan; (4) Makna Permohonan; dan (5) Makna Kepatuhan.
