    OVERPROTECTIVE PARENTING PATTERNS AND ITS INFLUENCE ON CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH

    Parenting plays an important role in the mental health and development of children. Overprotective parenting is one of the parenting styles that has received great attention in mental health research, which is characterized by excessive supervision and protection of children. This article aims to examine overprotective parenting and how it can affect children's mental health. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This method provides an in-depth understanding of a particular phenomenon or event, where in this study the researcher distributed a questionnaire as a tool to collect data. The results of this study indicate that 61.9% of children raised in an overprotective environment tend to have difficulty facing challenges, taking risks, and developing the social skills needed to succeed in life. In addition, they are more susceptible to mental health problems such as low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety

    Penggunaan teknologi dalam pendidikan terus berkembang, seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan untuk menghadirkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan relevan. Artikel ini membahas efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Android dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di Sekolah Dasar melalui kajian literatur yang komprehensif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Literature Review dengan mengumpulkan 10 artikel yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2021 hingga 2024. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Android yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS, termasuk live worksheet, augmented reality, dan eduacation game, secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar, minat, dan keterlibatan siswa. Media ini memungkinkan penyampaian materi yang variatif dan sesuai dengan gaya belajar siswa, serta mendukung pembelajaran mandiri yang lebih fleksibel. Meskipun demikian, tantangan implementasi seperti kesenjangan akses teknologi dan kebutuhan pelatihan guru perlu diperhatikan agar adopsi media ini dapat berjalan optimal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Android dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar, asalkan didukung oleh infrastruktur yang memadai dan kebijakan yang tepat

This article seeks to understand the positive impact of the integration of multicultural understanding in the process of Islamic religious learning, especially in shaping individual character and contributing to unity in an increasingly heterogeneous society. In an era where cultural diversity is becoming increasingly apparent, it is important to consider Islamic religious learning as something broader than just understanding religious aspects. The integration of multicultural understanding underlies efforts to create an inclusive learning environment, respecting every individual difference. By involving students in a deeper understanding of Islam in a multicultural context, we are able to form a generation that not only has tolerance, but also readiness to face the challenges of an increasingly complex, connected global world.     One of the problems of education quality in Indonesia is the learning methods used by teachers are not interesting. The lack of interesting learning often makes students unenthusiastic about teaching and learning activities. In reality, currently in the field there are still many who have not used or are able to apply good learning methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of interactive media in the learning process of PKN class 1 by teachers at MI Muhammadiyah Basin. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. At the school, teachers use interactive media in the form of role play, singing, puzzles and utilize technology by using the Wordwall and Quizizz applications. Class 1 at MI Muhammadiyah Basin uses Wordwall for classroom learning. Students are very enthusiastic when learning in class uses Wordwall. Overall, the application of interactive learning media at MI Muhammadiyah Basin shows positive results in improving the quality of education

    THE USE OF KAHOOT! MEDIA IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS: SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

    This study examines the use of Kahoot! as an interactive learning medium in Elementary Schools. Through a systematic literature review, it was found that Kahoot! is effective in increasing student motivation, participation, and understanding. The results of this study support the use of game-based technology for fun learning that is in accordance with student characteristics. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of using Kahoot! in increasing student motivation and understanding in learning in Elementary Schools. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review method to identify, collect, and analyze scientific articles related to the use of Kahoot! in learning in Elementary Schools. The review process was carried out through the PRISMA stages which include identification, screening, eligibility, and exclusion based on certain criteria. The articles analyzed were selected based on the suitability of the topic, research method, year of publication, and relevance to students' attitudes towards the use of Kahoot! learning media. The use of Kahoot! has proven to be beneficial in increasing student motivation, participation, and understanding, although there are still challenges such as limited time, internet access, and infrastructure readiness. In general, students show a positive attitude towards learning using Kahoot!, but its effectiveness still requires the active role of teachers in planning and implementation. This study contributes by showing that Kahoot! effectively supports interactive learning and improves the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects of elementary school students

    TES FORMATIF BERBASIS ETNO-SOCIAL UNTUK MENGIDENTIFIKASI KEMAMPUAN CRITICAL THINKNING PADA MATERI IPS

    Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan instrument soal tes formatif berbasis etno-social untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan critical thinking mahasiswa PGSD UNRAM pada materi IPS Sekolah Dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan soal tes formatif berbasis etno-social dan mengetahui kepraktisan soal tes formatif berbasis etno-social. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model pengembangan tipe formative research Tessmer. Model penelitian pengembangan ini meliputi tahap preliminary, self evaluation, prototyping (expert review dan one to one, small group), serta field test. Penelitian dilakukan di PGSD UNRAM dengan populasi seluruh mahasiswa semester dua. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa kelas 2D. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Hasil akhir dari penilaian terhadap pengembangan instrument soal formatif berbasis etno-social untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan critical thinking pada materi IPS SD Sekolah Dasar yang dilakukan menunjukan atau berada pada tingkat kualifikasi valid atau layak. Hasil persentase penilaian yang diberikan pada tahap validasi ahli  sebesar 87,5% berada pada tingkat sangat layak. Persentasi peniliaan keparkatisan  sebesar 88,6%. Hasil ujicoba one to one dan small  group terdapat penjelasan mengenai soal yang dikerjakan, Sebagian besar merasa soalnya Panjang dan perlu pemikiran kritis, hanya dengan hal tersebut maka bisa mengerjakan soal dengan baik. Untuk hasil identifikasi kemampuan critical thinking mahasiswa kelas 2D didapatkan hasil sebanyak 7 mahasiswa berada pada nilai 75-100, dan 18 mahasiswa memperoleh nilai 50-74.  Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan critical thinking mahasiswa PGSD kelas 2D pada materi IPS SD masih belum baik, hanya 28% mahasiswa yang berada pada kriteria Baik

    EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN STEM-PJBL DALAM MENINGKATKAN REGULASI DIRI DAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH IPA KELAS 5 SEKOLAH DASAR

    Pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar berperan penting dalam melatih peserta didik berpikir analitis, memecahkan masalah, dan mengembangkan regulasi diri. Namun, IPA sering dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran yang sulit dan membosankan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi dalam pembelajaran, salah satunya dengan menerapkan model STEM-PjBL (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics – Project-Based Learning). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model STEM-PjBL dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan regulasi diri peserta didik kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Mertosanan. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, melibatkan 21 peserta didik sebagai sampel penelitian. Data diperoleh melalui pre-test dan post-test, serta dianalisis menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan nilai signifikansi 0,005 (< 0,05) dan regulasi diri dengan nilai signifikansi 0,012 (< 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model STEM-PjBL efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan peserta didik dalam memahami dan menyelesaikan masalah secara sistematis, mengelola waktu, serta meningkatkan motivasi dan kemandirian dalam belajar. Pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang menekankan eksplorasi, kreativitas, dan kolaborasi memberikan dampak positif terhadap keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA. Dengan demikian, penerapan model STEM-PjBL dapat dijadikan alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar

    IMPLEMENTATION OF SCRAMBLE METHOD FOR LEARNING “CLOCK” IN ENGLISH LEARNERS CLASS V SDN PERUMNAS 1 CIBODAS

    A teacher could utilize certain methods at all levels for teaching a language. An effective teaching technique will immediately contribute to interest learners in the learning process and boost students' motivation and achievement in learning English. This research is done by mixing methods which are qualitative and quantitative (quasi experimental method). It is a scramble letter game, which is a way to develop words through cooperative and competitive activity. As a result, the researcher wants to know if the scramble letter game increases student achievement in English. The research results indicate the effectiveness of applying a scramble letter game while teaching English has increased in the experiment class with an average score of 30-80, but not in the control class with an average score of 70. Applying the scramble letter game as a technique while teaching English at SDN Perumnas 1 Cibodas in the Academic Year 2022/2023 is quite helpful. Based on the findings, it is advised that the scramble letter game be employed as an alternative and variation of their teaching and learning strategies

    Education provides provisions for navigating life, with education as its main foundation. Interaction between teachers and students is very important in the learning process to create effective communication. Learning strategies are efforts made in learning to achieve goals effectively and efficiently. Learning strategies are increasingly diverse and innovative along with the development of science and technology. One of the learning strategies used is the expository learning strategy, which focuses on the delivery of material verbally from the teacher to students to ensure comprehensive understanding and achievement of the expected learning objectives. This study uses a qualitative method, where researchers conduct descriptive analysis. The descriptive analysis method is carried out by the process of pouring out explanations and descriptions as clearly as possible in an integrated, critical, objective and analytical manner about "The relevance of using expository learning strategies in teaching and learning activities in schools". This study aims to determine the relevance of expository learning strategies in achieving learning objectives. Through this study, it is expected to provide benefits for teachers and students in choosing the right learning strategy

    MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

    Kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SD masih cukup rendah sehingga diperlukan model pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan kreativitas siswa, yaitu model PjBL. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji jurnal-jurnal ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan model PjBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SD selama 5 tahun terakhir yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal terindeks Scopus dan SINTA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur terhadap 57 artikel dengan bantuan aplikasi Publish or Perish, serta bibliometrik untuk memetakan hasil visualisasi dari aplikasi VOSviewer mengenai model PjBL berdasarkan jumlah kluster dan itemnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PjBL dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan mendorong siswa dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, hasil belajar, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi matematis. Selain itu model PjBL dapat diintegrasikan dengan beberapa mata pelajaran seperti IPA, IPS, Matematika, SBDP, Bahasa Indonesia, dan Pembelajaran Tematik, model ini cocok untuk siswa di kelas tinggi karena pada usia ini siswa dapat menangani proyek yang lebih kompleks. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model PjBL melibatkan siswa dalam penyelesaian proyek nyata yang relevan dengan kehidupan mereka yang dapat memberikan peningkatan pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SD. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model PjBL memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SD sehingga dapat menjadi landasan bagi guru untuk mengintegrasikannya dalam pembelajaran dengan mendorong siswa mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif melalui proyek yang relevan dengan kehidupan nyata
