    Abstract: Reading skills are skills to dig up information from various written and oral sources. The study used a Blended Learning model that combines two face-to-face and online learning. This classroom action research aims to improve comprehension reading skills in learners. This research was conducted in May 2021, in class V of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto Elementary School. This study is a Class Action Study with two cycles consisting of two meetings in one cycle. This research procedure refers to the kemmis &Mc. Taggart model which includes planning, execution of actions, observation, and reflection. The research subject was a student of class V muhammadiyah purwokerto elementary school with a total of 23 students consisting of 16 male students and 7 female students. The instruments used are teacher and student observation sheets, performance assessment of reading comprehension orally, and face-to-face and online evaluation sheets of learners. The results of this study showed that the improvement of comprehension reading skills in cycle I reached a learning completion of 55.55% and in cycle II rose to 77.78%. It can be concluded that the application of blended learning models can improve reading skills in learners. With the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Education in Indonesia issued a policy that is to dissolve schools and replace the teaching and learning process by using online or online systems.   Keywords: Comprehension reading skills, blended learning, classroom action research, pandemic covid-1

    PENGARUH GAME ONLINE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IV SDN 3 BANJARSARI

    Internet sendiri adalah gabungan dari berbagai LAN (suatu jaringan komputer yang mencakup wilayah lokal) dan WAN (suatu jaringan komputer yang mencakup wilayah luas dan menggunakan teknologi yang lebih canggih) yang berada di seluruh jaringan komputer di dunia, sehingga terbentuk jaringan dengan skala yang lebih luas dan global. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif eksperimen. Instrumen yang diguanak untuk mengumpulkan data adalah soal tes dan lembar observasi pembelajaran. Hasil pemberian perlakuan berupa game online pada kelas eksperimen dalam pemberian post-test, diperoleh nilai terendah yaitu 60 dan nilai tertinggi yang didapatkan 80 dengan nilai rata-rata diperoleh 73,95. Hal ini menandakan bahwa kedua kelas tersebut tidak ada perbedaan yang cukup segnifikan. Sedangkan untuk nilai rata-rata pada post-test pada kelas kontrol diperoleh sebesar 79,1 dan merupakan rata-rata tertinggi dari keempat test yang diberikan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kedua kelas tersebut terdapat perbedaan yang cukup signifika

    Media pembelajaran yang ingin peneliti terapkan sebagai alternatif untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan siswa dalam belajar matematika yaitu berhitung adalah media counting box. Penulis memcoba menerapkan media counting box karena untuk membantu dan memudahkan siswa dalam berhitung untuk meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran matematika siswa SD. Media pembelajaran counting box merupakan sebuah media pembelajaran yang berbentuk kotak yang terbuat dari kardus yang tebal yang dimodifikasi dari alat serta bahan yang sederhana. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas 1 SDN 1 Kekait. Untuk Sampel 46 siswa dengan rincian, kelompok eksperimen 23 siswa dan kelompok kontrol 23 siswa. Penelitian melakukan uji coba instrument di kelas 1 SDN 1 Kekait dengan siswa berjumlah 46 orang ditempat yang sama. Pertemuan pertama dilakukan pretest dikelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, pertemuan keempat dilakukan post-test untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dari hasil perlakuan dalam penelitian dapat dilihat dari presentase siswa dari kelas yang menggunakan media counting box (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas yang tidak menggunakan media counting box (kelas kontrol). The Belu Regency Government has taken a policy to carry out learning activities, namely Learning from Home, this encourages educators to be creative in creating an interesting learning atmosphere. Therefore, this research was conducted using the picture and picture learning model with the aim of increasing the absorption of students' understanding of science subjects. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method. The research implementation is divided into two (II) cycles. The results obtained in the first cycle showed that the average understanding of students who took part in science learning with the picture and picture model, completely reached the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) was only 37.5%, increased in the second cycle by 87.5%. The picture and picture learning model is effective in improving the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN Turiskain during this distance learning period or Learning From Home

    PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN KONSTRUKTIVISME TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IV SD

    Problem solving ability must be possessed by students as a basic ability in learning mathematics, to practice problem solving skills, a learning process that facilitates the achievement of students' mathematical problem solving skills is needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of constructivism learning on the mathematical problem solving ability of fourth grade students at SDN 1 Labuan Lombok. This type of research is an experimental study with a pre-experimental design type one group pretest posttest. The sample of this research is the fourth grade students of SDN 1 Labuan Lombok, totaling 31 people. Data collection methods are observation, test, and documentation. The validity test uses an expert test which states that the instrument is feasible to collect data. The results of the normality test of the data with a significance level of 5% obtained a significance value of 0.200 > 0.05 for the pretest data and 0.160 > 0.05 for the posttest, which means that the data is normally distributed, the homogeneity test results obtained a significance value of 0.875 > 0.05 which means that the data homogeneous. After knowing that the data is normally distributed and homogeneous, then hypothesis testing is carried out using a paired simple t test with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, this means that H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted. This means that there are differences in students' mathematical problem solving abilities before and after using constructivism learning. The magnitude of the influence of constructivism learning is calculated by using the N Gain Test, it is obtained a value of 0.31 is classified as moderate so it can be concluded that there is an effect of constructivism learning on the mathematical problem solving ability of fourth grade students at SDN 1 Labuan Lombok

    PROBLEMS REGARDING CLT IMPLEMENTATION AT HIGHER SECONDARY LEVEL: A CASE STUDY IN BOTH URBAN AND RURAL AREAS IN KARANGSIDEMAN

    This article tries to find out the explanations behind the implementation of CLT approach in the higher secondary level and attempts to produce a real data of CLT implementation in both rural and urban areas in Karangsideman. It also looks at the factors that make this teaching approach difficult to implement. This study examined both teachers’ and students’ perceptions, opinions, and perspectives of the English language at the higher secondary level. To achieve the objectives of the study, a mixed-method approach has been undertaken to conduct the methodology of the study where a range of methods such as Questionnaire, Interview and Classroom Observation Checklist have been used. The outcomes reveal various types of obstacles which are: a huge number of students in CLT classroom, small size of classroom, insufficiency of modern materials. It also disclosed that maximum students are not able to understand the English lecture in the classroom, teachers are not trained to maintain the classroom by following CLT method and some of the trained teachers are refused to apply CLT approach as well.     PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA KOKAMI PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK DI KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR KECAMATAN PEMENANG

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media Kokami sebagai media pembelajaran menurut validasi ahli dan uji coba terbatas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah R&D (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan 4-D dari Thiagarajan yang terdiri dari tahap define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner validasi ahli media, validasi ahli materi, respon guru, dan respon siswa. Rata-rata jumlah skor (X) yang diperoleh dari validasi ahli media tahap II sebesar 99 yang terletak pada interval X > 92.4, sehingga termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Rata-rata jumlah skor (X) yang diperoleh dari validasi ahli materi tahap II sebesar 92 yang terletak pada interval X > 79.8, sehingga termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Rata-rata jumlah skor (X) yang diperoleh dari respon guru sebesar 144 yang terletak pada interval X > 126, sehingga termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Rata-rata jumlah skor (X) yang diperoleh dari respon siswa  sebesar 55 yang terletak pada interval X > 50.4,  sehingga termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran Kokami pada pembelajaran tematik sudah mememenuhi kategori kelayakan untuk digunakan sebagai media pembalajaran
