IMPLEMENTATION OF ACADEMIC CULTURE FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS' SOCIAL SKILLS
This study aims to describe the implementation of academic culture for elementary school students' social skills. This type of research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The informants in this study were teachers and students of SDN Sen Asen 1. Data collection techniques used include observation and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of academic culture for students 'social skills at SDN Sen Asen 1 was through appreciating friends' achievements, caring about friends when they needed help, and giving and apologizing. Student learning in the classroom through academic culture has an impact on forming students' social habits to be skilled in dealing with their surrounding environmen
SEX EDUCATION IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TO PREVENT SEXUAL ABUSE OF CHILDREN
Cases of sexual abuse in children are increasing every year so it is necessary to prevent one of them through sex education in elementary schools. Sex education is an effort to teach, raise awareness, and provide information about sexual problems. Sex education for children can also prevent children from becoming victims of sexual harassment, by being equipped with knowledge about sex, they will understand which behaviors are classified as sexual harassment. SOCIAL STUDIES-HISTORICAL LEARNING SYSTEM FOR GEN-Z IN THE NEW NORMAL ERA
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the education system, namely new normal learning; therefore, a contextual learning model is needed in accordance with the needs students, namely Gen-Z. The research method uses the literature reviews obtained through books, articles, and journals. The results of the research are that social studies-history learning in the new normal era is a new challenge for teachers, where they have to make use of social media in dealing with the generation that is close to the Internet, which results in shaping their character as the generation that is creative, innovative, and broad-minded. Therefore, learning provided is student-centered learning, and involves learning conducted online or offline. This research concludes that in building the social studies-history learning system for Gen-Z in this new normal situation, it requires a change in the curriculum that is flexible, innovative, and creative, and according to the students’ model called Gen-Z
PENGARUH MEDIA BONEKA TANGAN TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA SISWA KELAS IV SDN TAMPAR-AMPAR KECAMATAN PRAYA TENGAH TAHUN AJARAN 2020-2021
Abstrack: This research aims to determine the effect of hand puppet media on the speaking skills of fourth graders at SDN Tampar-Ampar in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is a Quasi Experimental Design type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study is the fourth grade students of SDN Tampar-Ampar with 44 students total. The samples in this research is 4A class as the control class and 4B as the experimental class. The sampling technique used was porposive sampling. The data collection technique in this research is an assessment rubric (pretest-posttest). Data were analyzed with the help of SPSS version 16. From the results of the study, the average pretest scores for the experimental class and the control class were 65,27 and 71,27 while the posttest scores for the experimental class and the control class were 79,82 and 73,64.. Then, the t-count value bigger than t-table at a significant level of 5% with df = 42, then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The research hypothesis was accepted which reads that there is an influence of hand puppet media on the speaking skills of fourth graders at SDN Tampar-Ampar in the 2020/2021 academic year
ANALISIS PROSES PEMBELAJARAN PADA MATEMATIKA MATERI BANGUN DATAR
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran matematika pada materi bangun datar di SDN Sudimara Timur. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, karena dalam mengkaji permasalahan, penulis tidak membuktikan ataupun menolak hipotesis yang dibuat sebelum penulisan tetapi mengolah data dan menganalisis suatu masalah secara non numerik, pada pelaksanaannya menggunakan pedoman wawancara dan lembar observasi untuk melihat proses pembelajaran dikelas. Subjek penelitian menggunakan Qouta sampling untuk pemilihan subjek pada penulisan ini, karena subjek yang di teliti adalah kelompok yang sudah ditentukan sesuai dengan kuota kelas 4 SDN Sudimara Timur dan tidak meneliti banyak subjek untuk diteliti karena keterbatasan waktu penulisan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana karakter pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran, perencanaan pembelajaran, dan penilaian proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung di kelas
ITEM CHARACTERISTICS ANALYSIS USING THE RASCH MODEL IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF READING LITERACY INSTRUMENTS FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS STUDENTS
Literacy is a basic reading skill in modern society. The development of reading literacy questions is needed to be useful as an assessment function. The development of reading literacy questions needs to pay attention to the principle of conformity with indicators and pay attention to the characteristics of the items. A total of 167 fifth grade elementary school students were sampled in the test instrument for the reading literacy test. Instrument testing was carried out in two stages; first, content validity testing by seven experts, secondly analysis of model fit and item difficulty to determine item characteristics. The results showed that based on the results of expert judgment, 17 items were valid and 1 item had moderate validity. Items with moderate validity are S18 items that are classified as evaluating and reflecting type questions at level 6. Further analysis using the Rasch model obtained 2 items in the very easy category, 14 items in the easy category, 1 item in the difficult category and 1 item in the difficult category. very difficult category. With a distribution of difficulty levels, 11% of very easy questions, 78% of easy questions, 6% of difficult questions, and 6% of very difficult questions
APPLICATION OF STAD COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL TO INCREASE STUDENTS’ LEARNING OUTCOMES IN SOCIAL SCIENCE SUBJECT
This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes for the fifth-grade students of SDN 15 Cakranegara in the 2018-2019 school year, totaling 28 people, consisting of 12 boys and 16 girls. The research method used is: Cooperative Learning Model Type Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) with data collection techniques in the form of observation and evaluation tests, then analyzed qualitatively by comparing the success rates between cycles. The results of this study indicate an increase in the number of students who complete learning or get a score of 70, namely 22 students in the first cycle to 25 students in the second cycle. An increase also occurred in the average value of the evaluation test given after the learning process was over, namely: 75 in the first cycle, to 83 in the second cycle. While the percentage of student learning completeness in each cycle, which is 79% in the first cycle, increased to 89% in the second cycle. In addition, the application of this method can also increase the activities of teachers and students which increase from cycle I to cycle II. This is evidenced by the percentage of teacher activity which increased from 75% in the first cycle to 87% in the second cycle. Increased student activity is indicated by 65% in the first cycle, to 81% in the second cycle. The cooperative learning model of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type can improve the social studies learning achievement of fifth graders at SDN 15 Cakranegara for the 2018-2019 school year
TEACHER PROBLEMS IN LEARNING CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS (ABK) AT INCLUSIVE SCHOOL SDN 1 SELONG
Becoming a teacher in an inclusive school will certainly have different challenges from teaching in an ordinary school. The problems they face are more difficult than ordinary teachers. This study aims to describe the problems faced by teachers in teaching children with special needs at the inclusive school of SDN 1 Selong. This research is a case study research with a descriptive qualitative approach where the data collection methods used by the researcher are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model, namely through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: not all teachers have sufficient competence in managing classes from 6 subjects, 3 of which are still not able to manage classes well, the number of students with special needs in one class, the difficulty of children with special needs receiving learning, the lack of government attention and not all parents provide support for crew members. Efforts made by teachers to overcome these problems include: the desire to continue learning to improve teacher competence, use fun methods and media, repeat learning materials, and build good communication with parents of children with special needs
INCREASING THE ABILITY TO DESCRIBE HEAT AND SOUND ENERGY IN THE ENVIRONMENT USING EXPERIMENTAL METHOD IN CLASS IV STUDENTS OF SDN 1 SOMBRON
The aims of this study were (1) to determine the improvement of experimentation skills in studying heat and sound energy with the experimental method of fourth grade students at SDN Bagsongan, Kayenkidul District, Kediri Regency, (2) to determine the improvement of the ability to describe heat and sound energy with experimental methods in class students. IV SDN Bangsongan 1, Kayenkidul District, Kediri Regency. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach with the research subjects being fourth graders at SDN Bangsongan 1. The study was conducted in two cycles. Data was collected by using teacher activity observations, student activity observations, performance observations and tests. The data analysis technique used is the average percentage analysis. The results of this study can be concluded that: (1) learning with the experimental method can improve experimenting skills when studying heat and sound energy of fourth grade students of SDN Bangsongan I in the first cycle the student performance results obtained an average of 58.5% and in the second cycle increased to 88%. This is supported by an increase in teacher activity with an average of 66.1% increasing to 89.6% and an increase in student attitudes from 58.3% to 88.7%; and (2) learning with the experimental method can improve the ability to describe heat and sound energy based on the assessment of student test results which is indicated by an increase in the average score of students is 68.61 with a learning mastery percentage of 51.6% in the first cycle and in the second cycle the average the average becomes 79.55 with the percentage of learning completeness 87.1%
EVALUASI KETERAMPILAN MENGAJAR MENGADAKAN VARIASI MAHASISWA PGSD SEMESTER VI PADA MATA KULIAH PEMBELAJARAN MIKRO
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan keterampilan mengadakan variasi mengajar yang dimiliki mahasiswa PGSD semester 6 kelas B tahun akademik 2021 dalam mata kuliah pembelajaran mikro. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian tersebut peneliti melaksanakan kegiatan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi serta menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Tahap pertama yang dilakukan adalah perencanaan, dalam tahap perencanaan mahasiswa membuat Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang akan mereka gunakan dalam pembelajaran mikro. Selanjutnya adalah tahap pelaksanaan, mahasiswa mengajar mengunakan RPP yang telah dibuat kepada kelas mikro. Tahap terakhir adalah evalasi, pada saat mahasiswa yang melaksanakan kegiatan mengajar, mahasiswa yang lain memberikan penilaiannya dengan angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data perolehan nilai rata-rata keterampilan mengadakan variasai mengajar yang dimiliki mahasiswa PGSD semester 6 tahun akademik 2021 dalam mata kuliah pembelajaran mikro sebagai berikut keterampilan mengadakan variasi memperoleh nilai 61,12%. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan yang dimiliki mahasiswa PGSD semester 6 termasuk pada kategori baik disetiap keterampilnya
