    IMPROVE INDONESIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING OUTCOMES THROUGH THE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL IN FIFTH GRADES SDN 1 PALEMBANG

    Study This aiming for increase results Study participant educates on the eyes Indonesian language lessons for Fifth grades with using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. Research This is study action classes held in two cycles. Subject study is student The Fifth grades consist of 28 people, 13 men and 15 women. Data collection techniques use observation, testing, and documentation. Research results show that the application of the PBL model can increase results studying Indonesian Language subjects. The average results obtained Study students in the eye Indonesian language lessons cycle I was 63.39 with category low, so that study to be continued to cycle II. In cycle II the average results Study student Indonesian language lessons are 79.64, with category high. Based on results research, can concluded that the Problem Based Learning model effective in increase results Study students in Indonesian language lessons in Fifth grades SDN 1 Palembang

    PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN IKUIRI TERHADAP RETENSI SISWA DENGAN KEMAMPUAN AKADEMIK RENDAH

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis Inquiry terhadap retensi siswa dengan kemampuan akademik rendah, serta mengeksplorasi interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan akademik. Menggunakan desain eksperimen dengan teknik 2-Way ANOVA, penelitian ini melibatkan 60 siswa yang dibagi ke dalam empat kelompok berdasarkan kemampuan akademik dan model pembelajaran. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Inquiry memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap retensi siswa dengan kemampuan akademik rendah (p = 0.001), sementara kemampuan akademik itu sendiri tidak berpengaruh signifikan (p = 0.164). Interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan akademik juga tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan (p = 0.742). Hasil uji LSD mengungkapkan bahwa kelompok Inquiry – Low memiliki tingkat retensi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok Conventional – Low. Temuan ini mendukung teori konstruktivisme dan memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pendidik untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran yang lebih aktif dan partisipatif bagi siswa dengan kemampuan akademik rendah. Meskipun penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan terkait ukuran sampel dan durasi pengukuran, hasilnya membuka peluang untuk penelitian lebih lanjut yang mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi retensi siswa, seperti motivasi dan dukungan sosial. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan teori pembelajaran dan praktik pendidikan yang lebih inklusif dan efektif

    The development of thinking is a process of cognitive development that will be experienced by every human being. According to Jean Piaget cognitive development can be divided into four stages namely motor sensor (0-2 years), concrete pre-operational (2-7 years), concrete operations (7-11 years), and formal operations (11-15 years). When children have entered elementary school age, they will enter a phase called concrete operations. In this phase children have begun to understand abstract things such as space, time, counting, reading, and understanding some complex things. In the current era of government, the government has issued a policy in helping children develop their thinking/cognitive development through learning in schools by implementing an independent curriculum. In the independent curriculum children are taught to be more able to think creatively and critically. The application of an independent curriculum makes children understand more to read, count, love the motherland, and understand religion. The results of research in the third grade of elementary school show that children can smoothly read, understand count operations, understand reading, etc. However, there are also some children who experience delays in thinking in thinking such as not smooth counting, writing and understanding reading

    The purpose of this study is to provide ethnopedagogically based teaching materials regarding friction force, specifically for grade IV students, using the traditional Lombok game begasingan. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model, which consists of four stages of definition (define), planning (design), development (development), and spread (disseminate). However, this research has only reached the design stage(design). Based on interviews with fourth grade teachers at SDN 29 Ampenan, it was found that the friction learning taught at school had not been integrated with elements of ethnopedagogy. Therefore, the teaching material developed focuses on integrating the theory of friction with the begasingan game which is part of the ethnopedagogy found in Lombok. The results of this research show that friction material can be integrated with ethnopedagogy, namely the traditional Lombok begasingan game. By using the begasingan game, students can understand the concept of friction directly in their cultural context. It is hoped that the development of this teaching material can become a more contextual and relevant learning alternative for students and contribute to the preservation of local culture

    APPLICATION OF MAKE A MATCH LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE MATHEMATICS LEARNING OUTCOMES IN CLASS VA OF STATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 1 PALEMBANG

    This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the Make a Match learning model in class VA of SD Negeri 1 Palembang. The Make a Match model is a cooperative learning model that involves game elements in finding the right pair of cards, thus encouraging students to be more active, work together, and be directly involved in the learning process. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 28 students in class VA. Data were obtained through learning outcome tests and observations of student activities during the learning process. The results of the study showed an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle after the implementation of the Make a Match model. This increase occurred because students were more motivated, enthusiastic, and active in participating in learning. Thus, the application of the Make a Match learning model can be an effective alternative to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools

    Penelitian ini menekankan bagaimana kurikulum berfungsi sebagai kerangka pembelajaran sekaligus pedoman bagi semua pihak yang terlibat dalam pendidikan, termasuk guru, staf pendukung, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya, dalam pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan (library reaserch), Ada beberapa tahapan yang harus dilalui dalam metode ini, secara khusus mencari, mengumpulkan, dan memperoleh data dari jurnal dan buku yang berkaitan dengan struktur dan metode pembelajaran kurikulum dalam pendidikan islam. Temuan penelitian jurnal ini menekankan pentingnya strategi dan struktur pembelajaran dalam kurikulum Islam. Kurikulum yang terorganisir dengan baik dan menyeluruh sangat penting untuk menghasilkan generasi umat Islam yang bertakwa, cerdas, dan bertakwa dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Sebagai strategi pengajaran tambahan yang dapat membantu menjadikan proses belajar mengajar siswa menarik, bermakna, dan menyenangkan, berbagai metode pembelajaran juga diperkenalkan, termasuk ceramah, tugas, latihan, diskusi, kunjungan lapangan, seminar, proyek, eksperimen, dan teknik lainnya. Tujuannya, diharapkan dengan menerapkan strategi pengajaran yang mutakhir dan bervariasi, pendidikan Islam akan terus tumbuh berkualitas dan peserta didik memperoleh keterampilan penting untuk menghadapi hambatan yang akan datang

    Pendidikan ialah aspek penting di kehidupan manusia. Idealnya, pendidikan memberikan pengaruh besar dalam membangun interaksi dan memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu tenaga pendidik dalam mengentas permasalahan konsentrasi belajar pada Siswa Menengah Atas (SMA) serta membantu para siswa untuk menemukan pola belajar yang efektif. Pendekatan yang digunakan menggunakan metode literatur riview sebagai bahan untuk mengetahui pola belajar yang efektif dalam upaya meningkatkan konsentrasi Siswa Menengah Atas (SMA) selama proses pembelajaran. Penyajian data yang disampaikan melalui proses pengumpulan informasi dari berbagai sumber termasuk artikel, karya tulis ilmiah, dan jurnal relevan yang terbit pada rentang waktu 2020-2024.     Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kebijakan sekolah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah dasar melalui implementasi kurikulum Merdeka. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Teknik observasi dan wawancara. Data dikumpulkan dari delapan sekolah pada jenjang sekolah dasar di Kawasan ekonomi khusus mandalika Lombok Tengah. Informan dalam penelitian adalah guru, kepala sekolah dan pengawas sekolah. Tahapan penelitian terdiri dari pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Analisis data dilakukan sejak pengambilan data dilapangan hingga penyusunan laporan penelitian. Keabsahan data dicek menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada lima kebijakan utama yang digunakan sekolah untuk meningkatkan mutu Pendidikan di sekolah dasar dalam kurikulum merdeka. Strategi yang digunakan antara lain membentuk komunitas belajar, optimalisasi platform edukasi, penguatan kolaborasi guru dalam satu fase, melakukan in house training, dan membangun kolaborasi dengan lembaga eksternal. Temuan penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan rujukan bagi sekolah dasar secara umum untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar

    THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE MATHEMATICS LEARNING OUTCOMES ON SOLID FIGURES MATERIAL FOR FIFTH-GRADE STUDENTS

    This study was motivated by the low Mathematics achievement of fifth-grade students at SDN 3 Mataram. From the sample data of students' Mathematics scores, 51.35% (19 out of 37 students) scored below the minimum competency standard (KKM) of 70, with a class average score of 68.37. The research aimed to determine whether the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model could improve Mathematics learning outcomes on geometry topics for fifth-grade students at SDN 3 Mataram during the 2022/2023 academic year. The classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, implementing actions, observation, evaluation, and reflection. Data collection methods included learning outcome tests and observation. In Cycle I, the average student learning outcome was 69.19, with a mastery percentage of 71.87%. The teacher activity score in implementing the PBL model was 35, categorized as good, and the student activity score was 34, categorized as active. In Cycle II, there was an improvement: the average student learning outcome increased to 71.48, with a mastery percentage of 84.37%. The teacher activity score rose to 43, categorized as very good, and the student activity score increased to 46, categorized as very active. The findings indicate that the application of the Problem-Based Learning model can effectively enhance Mathematics learning outcomes on geometry topics for fifth-grade students. The implications of this study suggest that PBL can be a valuable instructional approach to address low Mathematics achievement and foster active learning. Educators are encouraged to integrate PBL in their teaching strategies, particularly for challenging mathematical concepts, to improve both student engagement and learning outcomes

    UNVEILING THE ETHNOMATHEMATICS OF BANTUL'S NITIK BATIK: A CULTURAL AND MATHEMATICAL JOURNEY

    Ethnomathematics is the mathematics embedded in a culture or understood as a discipline used to understand how mathematics is adapted from a culture. The purpose of this study is to determine (1) What symmetry patterns are present in Nitik batik? and (2) What philosophical meanings are associated with the symmetry patterns in Nitik batik? These are specifically referenced for students, particularly in the context of teaching transformation geometry, by incorporating cultural elements, namely the Nitik batik motifs from Yogyakarta. Ethnomathematics, as a medium for teaching mathematics, also aims to introduce and preserve Indonesia's cultural heritage. This study employs a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The data used to answer the research questions were obtained from document studies, including books, journals, and internet sources. Data analysis was performed using qualitative data analysis techniques, which include three main steps: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study reveal that in the Nitik batik of Bantul Yogyakarta, the Jaya Kirana motif features geometric patterns of reflection and translation
