Articel The Language Function in the Dou Sandik “Praise and Worship” Tradisional of Biak Numfor Speech Community, Papua: A Linguistic Theology Study
This article aims to uncover the use of theological language in the Dou Sandik tradition of Biak Numfor speech community. Grammatical theology is a theory that is able to show a human life in relation to God, and the uses of language and its set of game rules. This study uses two approaches, namely (1) a theoretical approach and (2) a methodological approach. The theoretical approach is an exploration of linguistic (grammatical) theological theory, while the methodological approach is a descriptive approach with an explanatory dimension. From the perspective of linguistic (grammatical) theology, this study seeks to apply scientific principles to linguistic data, as well as to adapt the steps of scientific studies in other fields of science. This study follows the procedures (1) the stage of providing data, (2) the stage of data analysis, and (3) the stage of presenting the results of data analysis. This study focuses on the efforts to reveal the "Function of Language in the Dou Sandik 'Prise and Worship' Tradition in Biak Numfor, Papua: A Study of Linguistic Theology", by projecting language function problems into: (1) ideational functions, (2) interpersonal functions, and (3) textual function
A Lessons in Pandemic Autonomous Learning Conflicts of Communicative Methods in English Curriculum 2013 along COVID-19 in Indonesia
Communicative competence is the goal of language learning, for which students have to learn language in a real context; and it also becomes the focus of Curriculum 13 in Indonesia. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are conflicts in realizing communicative competence for the students online. This study aims to identify conflicts faced by the teachers in integrating communicative language teaching method and online platforms used during the pandemic, as the lessons in long distance learnings. This study is qualitative with in-depth interview as the main data collection technique. The respondents of this study cover 137 senior high school teachers. The data is analyzed by identifying the relevant interplays between graduate competences, language learning methods, online platforms used, and conflicts on the teachers and students learning autonomously along pandemic. The findings show that there are conflicts among the teachers and students in implementing online communicative language teaching autonomously, since the method and the used online learning platforms are irrelevant and internet literacy and infrastructure are still poor. There must be comprehensive understanding and skills of the teachers and students in handling autonomous learning digitally along the pandemic including learning outcome, materials, learning methods and process, and testing the outcome. These conflicts bring about lessons of adaptability, collaboration, communication, and resilience, they have learned valuable skills that will serve them well in their future education and careers.

The following were the findings of the study: The overwhelmingly majority of the respondents agreed that early marriage is being practiced in accordance with the Shari‘ah Law, complying with the essential requisites of marriage in Presidential Decree 1083 or PD 1083. Meanwhile, 15% from the male respondents and 3% from the female respondents have admitted that there are disagreements that happened before the wedding commonly because of disapproval of their mother but easily resolve and facilitated. Majority of the respondents confirmed that the transaction between offer (ijab) and acceptance (qabul) duly witnessed by two competent persons after the guardian in marriage (wali) has given his/her consent. Large majority of the respondents also agreed that the “mahr” (dower) was given before the wedding and the female respondents were satisfied with the amount of the “mahr”. The researchers stated their recommendations addressed towards the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARRM), local government units (LGUs), Barangay officials, and the academic community, to formulate or create program interventions like adult literacy, financial literary, and livelihood for those illiterate couple and other less fortunate individuals
Challenges Experienced by Youth Organizations during the Ratification of Bangsamoro Organic Law
Acknowledging the role of the youth in nation building as stated in the Republic Act also known as Youth in Nation-Building Act in the Philippines, youth organizations take part in the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law for the Bangsamoro people in the said country. However, various challenges have been faced. This study aimed to determine the challenges these youth organizations have experienced during their participation in the law’s ratification. It also sought to identify the coping mechanisms they have employed to cope with those challenges during the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law. To determine the challenges faced and coping mechanisms of the youth organizations, a qualitative type of research was used, and data was presented in narrative form. The participants which were selected purposely were officers of Al-Jalis As-Salih, Inc. (AAI); United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD); Ittihadun – Nisa Foundation (INFO); Bangsamoro Youth Project Organization (BYPO); Young Centrist Union (YCU); and United Youth of the Philippines – Women (UNYPHIL). Purposive sampling was used in selecting the participants. The study found out that the youth organizations faced series of challenges during the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law such as receiving threat and having a hard time convincing people to vote for “YES” which means agreeing for the law’s ratification. The youth also faced challenges during the posting of materials in Cotabato City, Philippines since the City Mayor is not in favor of the Bangsamoro Organic Law which led to various heated situations. Other challenges experienced are related to local traditional politics, different dynamics within the ground, differences of religion, capacity and resources of organization, financial concerns, the misinterpretation and misconception and myths on Bangsamoro Organic Law. It is then concluded that despite the challenges faced by the youth, they maximized their utmost participation and did not give up. Their steadfastness in achieving their goal is what made them tough to counter the waves of challenges

It is also improving skills related to using technology and social communication
The Effect of Behavior and Characteristics of Shallot Farmers on Production Risk in Deli Serdang District
Horticulture is part of the agricultural sector which has received quite a lot of attention by the government to continue to be developed. Shallots are horticultural crops that are currently widely grown in Indonesia and have high economic value and demand. The development of shallot farming is basically aimed at increasing the productivity and welfare of farmers. However, shallot cultivation does not fully provide maximum benefits for farmers. This happens because of the risk in the implementation of onion farming. The risk factors that occur are production risk and shallot price risk. Production and price risks will reduce the income of shallot farming so that the household income of farmers decreases. Therefore, agricultural development through increasing productivity must be in line with the handling of the risks faced. The research area was determined purposively, namely in Liang Pematang Village, Sinembah Tanjung Muda Hulu District, Deli Serdang Regency, with the consideration that the area is one of the shallot production centers in Deli Serdang Regency. The sample in this study were farmers who were working on shallots in the research area. The samples taken were 30 shallot farmers. Farming risk level analysis using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). From the results of the study, it is known that the characteristics of shallot farmers are farmers of productive age and the dominant education is quite high at the high school level. Most farmers own more than 2,000 m2 of land, and have been farming for more than 10 years and the land used is their own land. The risks faced in shallot farming based on severity from the highest to the lowest are the selling price of shallots, fertilizer prices, weather conditions, Pest attacks, availability of seeds, diseases and labor
The Role of Teachers in Developing Students’ Science Creative Thinking Skills in Jordan and Sultanate of Oman
The study aimed to identify the degree to which science teachers developed school students’ creative thinking skills in Jordan and Sultanate of Oman. It also aimed to find out if the teachers’ role in developing school students’ creative thinking skills differed as per their work place (Jordan and Oman) and whether or not there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05=α) in the teachers’ role in developing school students’ creative thinking skills from the perspective of teachers attributed to the variable of teaching experience. To achieve the study objectives, the descriptive survey approach was used through developing a questionnaire with 31 statements which was distributed to a sample of 140 teachers teaching science to grades 4 to 8 in public schools in Jordan and Sultanate of Oman in the academic year 2021 – 2022. 5- point Likert scale was used to analyze the data collected. The findings showed that primary education science teachers practiced creative thinking skills with their students to a high degree as the mean of their responses to the questionnaire statements was 3.43 with a standard deviation 1.12. There were no statistically significant differences in the science teachers’ response means in Jordan and Oman. However, there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05=α) in the teachers’ response means in favor of the female teachers whose response mean was 4.25 which was higher than the male teachers’ response mean which was 3.35. This result might be attributed to a number of factors such as women in Arab societies try to prove themselves and try to prove that they are more distinguished than men. In light of the findings, the study recommended adopting teaching strategies that develop students’ creative thinking skills, supporting teachers who develop these skills and generalizing these findings to other educational stages
What is True Art or Good Art?
In this brief account I argue that art ought to be an enterprise wherein the artist tries to understand his/her process and develop a discursive understanding annexed to or in tandem with practice. I argue that innovation in art – the claims of the great artists – resulted in a certain paradigm shift. Yet the postmodern move towards a largely anti-intellectual polarity does a great disservice to art. I conclude with the necessity to at least define our terms, otherwise the possibility of art even carrying some sense evaporates, let alone any meaningful discrimination
The Impact of Students Assessing the Level of Difficulty Test Item on Interest and Motivation in Learning Mathematics
According to Item Response Theory, the difficulty level is a characteristic of the test item. The difficulty level of the test items is a characteristic of the test items that are on a scale with the ability level parameter. However, this relationship has not been studied optimally, especially in students' interest and motivation in learning mathematics. This study examines the impact of student involvement in assessing the level of the difficulty test item on interest and motivation in learning mathematics with the approach of assessment as learning. The study involved 176 students from grade VII in SMP and MTs. High-level reasoning test items were adapted from TIMSS test items, while the interest and motivation instruments used a questionnaire. Data analysis used percentages and paired t test. The results showed the difference between before and after estimating the difficulty level test items to students' interest and motivation in learning mathematics. The interest and motivation of students in learning mathematics increased after estimating the level of difficulty of the test items. Therefore, to increase students' interest and motivation in learning mathematics, teachers can involve students in assessing the level of difficulty of the test items using the approach of assessment as learning
Secured Cotabato City State Polytechnic College Web-Based Student Clearance System
The study describes the Secured CCSPC Web-Based Student Clearance System's use and predicted effects. Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), Sublime editor, Bootstrap, and MySQL as the database tool were used to create the clearance system. This system includes two-factor authentication for students and designated offices. In the clearance system, a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for data transit, as well as a software firewall and anti-SQL Injection attack, were offered and implemented. The CCSPC Portal was linked to the web-based student clearance system and Web API, with Web API acting as a bridge between SIMone and the clearance system. SIMone's role is to offer just a limited amount of information on the web-based clearing, such as designated office operations, account status from the Cashier, and student profiles from the Registrar. Students and the approved offices in charge of signing the student clearance include the Graduating Class Association (GCA) Treasurer, Laboratory Custodian, Cashier, Librarian, Academic Related Services (ARS), SPEED Director, Department Chairperson, College Dean, and the Registrar. The ISO 9126-1 International Standard Tool for Software Evaluation, on the other hand, was utilized in the CCSPC beneficiaries' surveys to test the system's effectiveness and reliability
