    Islamic Moderation as A Resolution of Different Conflicts of Religion

    Some tragedies and humanitarian conflicts that are both heartbreaking and worrying have been taking place in different parts of Indonesia. The cause of the conflict can be political factors, economic disparity, cultural disparity, ethnic and religious sentiments. Thus, it becomes very urgent for groups that are easily exposed to the conflict to understand Islamic moderation as a conflict resolution of differences in religious beliefs. This research is library research with qualitative research methods and descriptive approaches. Analysis of the data on the subject uses an inductive approach with data sourced from books, journals, newspapers, and scientific papers that are related to the object being studied. The results showed that the current national problems such as economic inequality, cultural disparity, ethnic and religious sentiments as well as the threat of conflict could only be resolved through cooperation with the principle of mutual understanding among religious communities. Thus through moderation of Islamic plurality, diversity, or diversity that has become a necessity can be utilized as universal energy to break down the problems of the Indonesian nation today

    [The Use of the Online "Testmoz" Test Integrated with Google Classroom as an Alternative Online Learning Tool]. This study aimed to explore students’ acceptance level of the online-based assessment tool “Testmoz” integrated with Google classroom on chemistry courses. The subjects were 51 students of the fifth semester at Jurusan Tadris Kimia IAIN Tulungagung selected by purposive sampling. The method used in this study was a one-shot case study design. Data obtained from students’ questionnaires and interviews before the Covid-19 pandemic start to begin. The result shows 93,30% accepting the level of Testmoz integrated with Google classroom. These findings were supported by students’ interview data as a user that overall result was positive and shows support. The additional result shows the high interest of rural students through learning innovation using the help of information technology. These results may support the learning process on pandemic conditions that use digital platforms such as the Learning Management System (LMS) as supporting tools of learning in this era

    [EFFECTIVENESS OF EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING METHOD IN LEARNING ACTIVITIES DATA PROCESSING ANDANALYSIS CLASSROOM ACTION RESEARCH]. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive methodwhich aims to determine the effectiveness of the Experiential Learning Method in the learning process Processing and Data Analysis at the Classroom Action Research (CAR) Training based on the perceptions of the participants. Effectiveness is seen based on the suitability of the results obtained with the learning objectives. The research was conducted at CAR training in Aceh Barat Daya with the subject of research as many as 40 people. Collecting data using a questionnaire with google form and triangulation by interviews and observations of work documents. The results showed that according to participants' perceptions the application of the Experience Learning Method in learning was effectively based on the achievement of learning outcomes. The application of the Experience Learning Method can also increase motivation, provide experience in processing and analyzing data in real situations, and improve skills in processing and analyzing CAR data

    [THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE TRAINING OF SCIENTIFIC PAPERS ON WIDYAISWARA WRITING COMPETENCE] The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the training of scientific article on widyaiswara writing competence regarding the formulation of research problems, the formulation of theoretical studies, the formulation of research methods, the preparation of results and discussion, and the presentation of conclusions and suggestions. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research was carried out in the Education and Religious Technical Training Center. The research subjects were 10 widyaiswara who had participated in the training on scientific writing. Data collection techniques are documentation studies while data analysis techniques are using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that the training of scientific writing for widyaiswara was effective in developing the widyaiswara's competence in writing scientific papers. It revealed that all documents  had included research problems in the introduction, content, and closing, although the terminology is not exactly the same as the writing guidelines but the essence is relevant to the problem. Some are explicitly disclosed and some are implicitly. Based on the results of the study, the researcher proposed a suggestion that the Pusdiklat continue to program scientific papers training for Widyaiswara

    Pengaruh Process-Oriented Guided-Inquiry Learning (POGIL) Terhadap Kemampuan Problem Solving Siswa

    [THE EFFECT OF PROCESS-ORIENTED GUIDED-INQUIRY LEARNING (POGIL) TOWARD STUDENTS’ PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS]. The aim of this research is to investigate the different impacts of Process-Oriented Guided-Inquiry Learning (POGIL) and verification as a learning approach at senior high school students’ problem solving ability grade XI program IPA on acid-base topic. The research design used was quasi experimental. Hypothesis testing uses a t-test with 5% significance utilizing SPSS 21 program for windows. Results show that (1) there is a significant difference in students’ problem solving ability that is taught by POGIL approach and verification, and (2) students that are taught by POGIL approach give better answer’s pattern than students that are taught by verification approach. According to the research result, POGIL could be well promoted learning model to developing problem solving skill on acid-base topics. This result does imply to the next similar research that appropriate exploration of problem solving ability on another contextual chemistry topic such as rate of reaction, chemical equilibrium, and colligative properties. Exploration about metacognition involvement on POGIL also the other implication of this research result that can be deeply analyzed

    [ISLAMIC INSTRUCTORS, RELIGIOSITY, AND SALATIGA AS TOLERANT CITY]. Developing and strengthening a religiously motivated society lies in the responsibility of the Islamic religious instructors including those who work for the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) of Salatiga City, Central Java. Their detailed tasks have been released, that is in accordance with the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Community Guidance No. 298 of 2017 concerning Guidelines for Islamic Extension Workers, namely 8 (eight) specific fields which are the following; Read and Write the Qur'an, halal products, radicalism, and Islamic splinter group, sakinah families, HIV/AIDS & Drugs, Zakat, Waqf, and Religious Harmony. In addition, it is widely known that Salatiga has been granted as the most tolerant city in Indonesia by the Setara Institute for the last several years. Currently, the role of religious instructors to fulfill their assignments to support such a tolerant city remains less unknown. This article that is stemmed from the qualitative research has shown that religious instructors of the Islam section in Salatiga are able to fulfill their role as the contributor for religiosity and harmony in society, although some challenges remain. They could also accelerate with the title of tolerant city that pinned to their city

    [COMPETENCY OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTORS IN MAINTAINING HARMONY IN RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES IN SOUTH JAKARTA] This study aims to determine the Competency of Islamic Religious Instructors in maintaining harmony in Religious Communities in South Jakarta. This study is field research using descriptive analytical methods and qualitative approaches take locus in the South Jakarta area. The Data was collected through interviews and surveys in the form of questionnaires to religious instructors in South Jakarta. The data is processed by inductive analysis, which uses the logic of thinking in which syllogism is built based on specific things and leads to general conclusions. The results showed: (1) The competence of Islamic religious instructors in the South Jakarta region already had the right perception and understanding in building insight (world view) on plurality and multi-ethnicity (multicultural) as well as proactive attitudes and cooperation when managing conflicts by utilizing local wisdom and minimizing differences. (2) Intolerance in Jakarta in many surveys becomes a challenge for religious instructors in building social relations with fostered groups so that the interpretation of religious texts that lead to truth claims considers themselves to be the most correct can be minimized. (3) Continuous guidance and counseling, and periodic interfaith dialogue become social capital to find common ground and solutions for potential conflicts or violence between religious communities or internal religious communitie

    [THE EVALUATION OF TRAINING RESULTS IN THE EDUCATION AND RELIGIOUS TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTER]. The purpose of this study is to analyze the training results which are focused on the satisfaction of training alumni with education services in the Education and Religious Technical Training Center of the Ministry of Religion. This research is survey research to stakeholders in the Province of North Sumatra, Central Java, D.I. Yogyakarta and South Sulawesi with sampling were done with a purposive random sampling technique with a total of 50 people. The instruments used are questionnaires, interview guidelines, and document checklist. While the data analysis is done by editing, tabulating, and IKM analyzing as well as interpretations. The results of this study indicate that in the alumni satisfaction index of education and training services at that the quality category of service elements, namely: 1) Requirement Elements get 84 (B/Good category); 2) System, mechanism, and procedure elements get 87,5 (B/Good category); 3) The completion time element gets 86 (B/Good category); 4) The cost/tariff element gets 94,625 (category A/Very Good); 5) The product element specification type of service gets 85 (category B/Good); 6) The element of implementing competency gets 88,063 (category B/Good); 7) The element of implementing behavior gets 88.5 (category A/Very Good); 8) The element of complaint handling, suggestions, and input get 77.5 (category B/Good); and 9) The elements of facilities and infrastructure get 83,929 (category B/Good). The results of the average conversion value obtained results of 85.26 which based on the index is in the "B" or "GOOD" category

    [THE PERCEPTION OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION TEACHER'S TO THE MADRASAH SUPERVISOR'S LEADERSHIP]. The purpose of writing this paper is to describe the Islamic Education (PAI) teacher's perception of the madrasah supervisor's leadership. The research methodology of this paper is mixed method by combining quantitative methods supported by questionnaires to capture data and qualitative methods with the support of interviews of 20% of the respondent's population.  The respondents of this study were PAI at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Private in the North Jakarta Region totaling 32 people. The results of the analysis of the perception of PAI teachers towards the attitude of the madrasah supervisor's leadership in the North Jakarta obtained an average value = 79,916, with a good predicate. Thus, the conclusions of PAI teachers' perceptions of supervisors' leadership attitudes are in a good category

    Direct Written Corrective Feedback on Junior High School Students’ Recount Text Composition

    This present study is aimed to investigate the extent to which direct written corrective feedback (CF) assists students in minimizing students’ errors on recount text composition. This qualitative study was carried out in class VIII C at a junior high school in Malang. The Subjects of this study were the English teacher from class VIII C at the school and six students from three different levels of proficiency in this class. This present study found that: (1) Students made six types of errors on their recount text compositions after receiving direct written CF, 2) Direct written CF assists low proficiency students to a little extent in minimizing their errors on recount text compositions, (3) Direct written CF assists average proficiency students to a little extent in minimizing their errors on recount text compositions, (4) Direct written CF assists high proficiency students to a medium extent in minimizing their errors on recount text compositions
