This research aims detected the motions poses of trance dancers as a computer vision model in the trance dancers performing arts. The annual ceremonies of the Ngalaksa ritual and the Tarawangsa art as cultural traditions in Rancakalong Tourism Village, located in Sumedang, West Java. This ritual serves as a reverent to the Rice Goddess, with the farmers engaging in ceremonial processions and traditional Ngalaksa rites. Accompanied by the melodic strains of Tarawangsa music, participants dancing in rhythmic dance, some even entering trance states. On the other hand, the advancement of artificial intelligence technology is rapid. This research used machine learning for detecting the motion poses of dancers experiencing trance. The research endeavors to discern motion poses within trance dancers during Ngalaksa rituals for understanding the dynamics motion of traditional Ngalaksa rituals. Machine learning methods applied particularly computer vision utilizing GluonCV model. The study analyzes a dataset comprising motion poses of dancers in Rancakalong Village. Data gathering involves firsthand observation, field participation, and in-depth interviews with informans, including Saehu, dancers and Arak-Arakan participants. The research findings show the accuracy of pose estimation within the Ngalaksa ritual, though refinement of detection models for both trance and non-trance dancers warrants further research
Factors Affecting the Resilience Index Food in Papua Province and West Papua Province Using a Spatial Model Approach
The Food Security Index is a measure of indicators to produce a composite value that reflects the status of food security in a region. Food security plays an important role in sustainable development, including food availability, environmental preservation and economic balance, as well as being the basis for economic growth, preventing poverty and inequality. In Indonesia, with an estimated population growth of 430 million people in 2050, the challenge of meeting food needs is increasing. Indonesia\u27s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) includes efforts to end hunger and promote sustainable agriculture. This research aims to apply spatial regression analysis to the Provinces of Papua and West Papua to determine the best model and significant factors that influence the Food Security Index in the region in order to identify the challenges faced by the region in calculating the food availability of its people as well as assist in developing efforts to overcome them. Five predictor variables were used with the assumption that they have a significant influence on the Food Security Index. This research examines the spatial regression equation using the SAR, SEM and SARMA regional approaches. The results obtained showed that the selected SEM model with a p-value of 0.0082581 was appropriate for identifying the dependence of spatial effects on Food Security Index in Papua Province and West Papua Province. Life Expectancy at Birth, Prevalence of Stunting Toddlers, Percentage of Poor Population, Open Unemployment Rate, and Average Length of Life are significant factors that influence the Food Security Index in Papua Province and West Papua spatially
Implementation of Home Visit Program in an Effort to Improve the Nutritional Status of Toddlers in Developing Countries: Scoping Review
Malnutrition in toddlers is still a severe problem in developing countries. This study aims to determine how the home visit program is implemented in an effort to improve the nutritional status of toddlers in developing countries. This study used the scoping review framework from Arksey and O\u27Malley (2005). The articles chosen are published from 2010 to 2019 in developing countries. The article was obtained from the PubMed, Wiley, EBSCO, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar databases. Article selection process using the Mendeley and Covidence applications. Five of the 159 articles selected showed that a combined home visiting program could rehabilitate underweight 5x faster (OR equal 4.74, 95percent CI equal 2.47-9.09), significantly reduce moderate malnutrition (-3.3 vs. -1.5; p less than 0, 0001) and severe malnutrition (-3.8 vs. -1.8; p less than 0.001) and 55percent of children achieved recovery z-score more than equal -1 which took an average of 14 weeks. Additionally, wasting was reduced by 27 percent (aOR: 0.73, 95 percent CI: 0.55–0.97), underweight by 40 percent (aOR: 0.60, 95 percent CI: 0.47–0.75), and stunting by 27 percent (aOR: 0.73, 95 percent CI: 0.57–0.93). This study concludes that the home visit program is an effective and significant strategy to reduce the incidence of underweight, moderate and severe malnutrition, stunting, and wasting in toddlers only when combined with other programs. Several research gaps were also identified, which could be confirmed through further research
The Effect of Spirulina Platensis Extract (Arthrospira platensis) on Enhancing Hemoglobin Levels in Pregnant Women
The prevalence of anemia is still relatively high in the world. The impacts of this case are abortion, premature birth, premature rupture of membranes, histitis, postpartum hemorrhage, low birth weight (LBW), risk of congenital defects, infection in babies, and even death. The objective of this research was to assess how the use of spirulina platensis extract influences the elevation of hemoglobin levels in expectant mothers. In this case, the method used is Quasi-Experiment through a pretest and posttest control group design with a sample of 60 participants, consisting of 30 participants and a control group of 30 participants. Furthermore, the group subjected to the intervention was provided with a remedy, which involved administering Spirulina platensis extract in the form of one 300 mg capsule once a day for 30 days and standard care, while the control group received standard care only. In addition, the sampling technique used is simple side random. The results of the Paired Sample T-test analysis in the intervention group during the pretest obtained a mean hemoglobin level of 9.63 with a standard deviation of 0.490, while during the post-test, obtained mean score of 10.93 with a standard deviation of 0.907 with a p-value of 0.000. Meanwhile, the analysis of the control group during the pretest obtained mean hemoglobin levels of 9.60 with a standard deviation of 0.498, while during the posttest, the mean score obtained was 9.70 with a standard deviation of 0.535 and p-value of 0.083. The difference between the mean hemoglobin levels during the posttest in the experimental and control groups showed m equal 10.93; SD equal 0.907 vs. m equal 9.70; SD equal 0.535, with a p-value of 0.000. Therefore, it is summed up that there was an increase in hemoglobin levels in pregnant women after the administration of Spirulina platensis extract. As input for the health workers, especially midwives, it is suggested to offer alternative therapeutic approaches for pregnant women suffering from anemia by applying Spirulina platensis
Acute Toxicity Test of Mulberry Leaf Extract (Morus rubra L) as a Basic Ingredient of Candida Albicans Antifungal on Rattus Norvecigus
Previous research on the effectiveness of mulberry leaves in the growth of candida albicans showed that C. albicans is inhibited in vitro. Mulberry leaf extract is used as a basic ingredient for treatment. In addition to being tested for effectiveness, testing is needed to ensure the level of acute toxicity in experimental animals in determining toxicity levels. The study aimed to test the acute toxicity of mulberry leaf extract on Rattus Norvecigus media in determining the level of toxicity before becoming the basic ingredient of VVC antifungal. The research method uses an experimental laboratory post-test-only control group design with a 9 Rattus Norvegicus media. The average dose is not lethal using LD50 values. Research analysis using ANOVA is One Way to determine the difference in the average weight change of experimental animals. The study\u27s results did not show any deaths of experimental animals or toxic symptoms in administering mulberry leaf extract doses of 0 mg, 100mg, 1000 mg, 1600mg, 2900mg, 5000mg. LD50 value more than 8g/kg BW, included in the non-toxic category (5-15 g/kg BW). The ANOVA statistical test showed a P-value of 0.781 more than a P-value of 0.05, that is, there was no difference in the average change in body weight in the experimental animal group given different treatment doses in each group. The research concludes that mulberry leaf extract does not show a lethal dose of acute toxicity, so it is safe to use as a basic ingredient in treatment sourced from natural ingredients
