The Effect of Principal Transformational Leadership on Teacher Performance to Improve Student Achievement: A Literature Review

The importance of school principal transformational leadership and its influence on teacher performance to improve student achievement attracted researchers to investigate it and this article discusses the results of a literature review conducted by the author. There are several articles reviewing the influence of school principals' transformational leadership on teacher performance to improve student achievement, especially in world contexts that can be found. The purpose of this review is to determine the influence of the transformational leadership of school principals on teacher performance to improve student achievement in the world context. Based on the results of a review of literature from various countries in the world, the authors found that the majority of school principal transformational leadership had a positive and significant influence on teacher performance for student achievement.

Thoughts on Islamic Education According to Abbas Pulungan

Humans really need education to develop their potential, so that it is useful for civilization. This research aims to examine literature reviews related to Abbas Pulungan's thoughts on Islamic education. The research method uses the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. Data collection was obtained by documenting articles related to similar research. The articles that can be used in this research are 5 national journal articles that can be obtained from the Google Scholar database using the publish or perish application. Based on research, it can be seen that good character education can be instilled from an early age and good educational institutions related to cultivating children's character are located in Islamic boarding school
The Influence of the TPACK based Inquiry Teaching Model on Student's Critical Thinking Skills
Get PDFThe purpose of the study was to determine the effect of tpack-based inquiry teaching model on students' critical thinking skills. This research is a type of meta-analysis research. The data sources in this study came from the analysis of 15 national and international journals published in 2021-2024. The inclusion criteria in the study are that the research must be indexed by Sinta and Scopus, the research comes from open access journals, the research has a relationship with the research variables, the research data is accessed through the Google Scholar Journal Database, Wiley, Taylor of Francis, Mendeley and Researhgate and the research must attach sticky data to calculate the effect size value. Data collection techniques are direct observation and documentation. Data analysis is quantitative analysis by calculating the effect size value with JSAP software. the results concluded that the tpack-based inquiry teaching model had a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills with a value of res = 0.914; P < 0.001. this finding provides positive information for teachers to implement this model in learnin

Discipline is defined as the attitude and feeling of obedience and compliance towards values that are considered a responsibility. This study aims to examine the importance of discipline in education and its benefits and implications. The methodology used is qualitative research with a literature review approach, collecting data through journal and book literature to observe social phenomena related to discipline in education. Discipline in education includes appreciation, respect, and compliance with rules, both written and unwritten. Education is a process to improve individuals' abilities, knowledge, and skills through teaching, training, and development. Therefore, education and discipline are two interrelated aspects that play a role in forming quality human resources. In conclusion, discipline in education has an important role in shaping students' character and performance. This scientific study uses qualitative research methods with the type of library research. The data used in this study is secondary data, including various government policies (UU, PP, Presidential Decree, or Ministerial Regulation), journals, and books that are appropriate to the topic to be studied. The results of the analysis state that institutionally, IAIN has been recognized and even has similarities and equality with other state higher education institutions. Starting from the organizational structure, to the government policies that cover it (PP No. 30, 1990). However, IAIN is within the Ministry of Religion, not the Ministry of Education and Culture. Apart from that, in the education system, IAIN refers to the applicable National Education System (UU No. 20/2003). However, the specific IAIN policy will be disclosed in the Regulation of the Minister of Religion in each relevant IAIN Statute
Using Cognitive Academic Language Learning Approach (Calla) to Improve Students’ Speaking Ability
Get PDFThis study aims to test the effectiveness of the Cognitive Academic Language Learning Approach (CALLA) in teaching speaking. This research is a pre-experimental research with a pre-test and post-test design. This was carried out in the seventh grade at MTs TIA NW WANASABA in the 2023-2024 academic years. The sample consisted of 26 students. The research sampling used purposive sampling. The instrument speaks tests to collect data. Data were analyzed using Statistics 16.0 for win Statisticsdows. The results show that focus group discussions are effective for students with an average post-test score of 60.77 which is higher than the pre-test average score of 48.80. the hypothesis testing value of data analysis is 0.00, which is lower than 0.05. means that the alternative hypothesis of this research is accepted. Therefore, the Cognitive Academic Language Learning Approach (CALLA) is effective in teaching speaking ability. Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Picture And Picture terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar Ilmu pengetahuan Sosial murid kelas V SD Negeri Kaluku Bodoa kecamatan Tallo kota Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nonquivalent control grup desing. Teknik sampling menggunakan sampel jenuh. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 50 orang, terdiri dari 25 orang kelas eksperimen dan 25 orang kelas kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket untuk mengukur motivasi belajar dan lembar tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar murid. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial, dan pada tahap uji prasyarat data dilakukan uji normalitas data dan uji homogenitas data. Sedangkan untuk uji hipotesis dilakukan Uji Manova. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah 1) terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar melalui model pembelajaran Picture And Picture berorientasi pendidikan karakter pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial murid kelas V SD Negeri Kaluku Bodoa 2) Terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar melalui Model pembelajaran Picture And Picture berorientasi pendidikan karakter pada mata pelajarn Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial murid kelas V SD Negeri Kaluku Bodoa; 3). Model pembelajaran Picture And Picture berorientasi pendidikan karakter terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar murid dengan nilai signifikasi <0,001 < 0,05 terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Picture And Picture berorientasi pendidikan karakter terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial kelas V SD Negeri Kaluku Bodoa Kecamatan Tallo Kota Makassar. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Picture And Picture dapat mempengaruhi motivasi dan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Murid kelas V SD Negeri Kaluku Kecamatan Tallo Kota Makassar
The Form of Cakatinding Music Presentation at the Wela Rana Art Studio, Manggarai Regency
Get PDFCakatinding merupakan sebuah kesenian musik tradisional daerah Manggarai Nusa Tenggara Timur yang terbuat dari bahan bambu. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis Bentuk Penyajian Musik Cakatinding di Sanggar Seni Wela Rana, dengan harapan dapat mendokumentasikan dan menganalisis bagaimana kesenian ini dipertahankan dan dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif yaitu untuk memberikan gambaran tentang Bentuk Penyajian musik Cakatinding di Sanggar Seni Wela Rana Kabupaten Manggarai. Hasil penelitian ini di analisis hingga menjadi sebuah laporan penelitian terkait seni musik Cakatinding. Alat musik ini memiliki bentuk yang mirip dengan kentongan, namun ada beberapa perbedaan mendasar yang membuatnya unik. Yang membedakan alat musik ini adalah keberadaan senar yang terbuat dari irisan tubuh alat musik itu sendiri. Senar tersebut kemudian diganjal menggunakan potongan bambu kecil untuk menciptakan tegangan yang diperlukan agar dapat menghasilkan nada. Kesenian Cakatinding merupakan kesenian tradisionak kabupaten Maanggarai, sehingga lagu-lagu yang dibawakan juga menggunakan lagu-lagu daerah Manggarai. Diantaranya, benggong, so inag so, dere ngkiong lain sebagainya.
 
Learning Rhythm Using Rhythm Feature by Chrome Music Lab's Platform at Galenia Elementary School Bandung
Get PDFPenelitian ini menginvestigasi penggunaan fitur Rhythm dari Chrome Music Lab dalam meningkatkan pemahaman ritme musik siswa di SD Galenia Bandung. Latar belakangnya mencakup kesulitan siswa dalam memahami dan mengaplikasikan ritme dalam musik. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas fitur Rhythm sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif dalam konteks ini. Metode penelitian deskriptif digunakan dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep ritme, serta partisipasi dan motivasi mereka yang lebih tinggi selama menggunakan fitur Rhythm. Implikasinya adalah pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam kurikulum musik sekolah dasar untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran, meskipun tantangan akses teknologi masih perlu diatasi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menekankan perlunya pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam penggunaan teknologi sebagai alat pendidikan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan musik siswa
Developing Artistic Creativity In Early Childhood Through Ecoprint Activities With Punch/Tap Techniques
Get PDFThis research aims to explore the ecoprint technique using the hitting/knocking method to facilitate the development of children's artistic creativity. This qualitative in-depth investigation was carried out at Al Muna Kindergarten, Bireun, involving 15 children aged 4-6 years over a period of 8 weeks. Information gathering strategies included the involvement of researchers in activities, intensive dialogue with teachers and parents, and thorough examination of documentation of children's creations. The results showed a significant increase in all aspects of creativity, with the highest increase in elaboration (80%) and originality (78.95%). Ecoprint techniques have proven effective in stimulating multi-sensory experiences, encouraging exploration of natural materials, and increasing environmental awareness. These findings indicate that ecoprint not only develops artistic creativity, but also strengthens children's connections with nature, in line with the concept of eco-art education. This study highlights the potential for integrating ecoprint techniques in the PAUD curriculum as an innovative approach to developing creativity while increasing environmental awareness. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed, including the need for a redefinition of creativity in a more inclusive and diverse early childhood education contex
