    The Effectiveness of Science Learning Based on Coding Curriculum for Elementary School Students at SDN INPRESS Kampung Tiba-Tiba"

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas kurikulum pembelajaran IPA berbasis coding pada siswa sekolah dasar di SDN INPRESS Kampung Tiba-Tiba. Pembelajaran berbasis coding dianggap dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep IPA serta mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti pemecahan masalah, berpikir kritis, dan kolaborasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain campuran (mixed-methods) dengan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur perubahan hasil belajar siswa. Data kualitatif diperoleh melalui observasi kelas dan wawancara dengan guru serta siswa untuk menggali pengalaman mereka selama mengikuti pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa, dengan rata-rata peningkatan skor post-test sebesar 18,7%. Selain itu, observasi kelas menunjukkan keterlibatan siswa yang tinggi serta kemampuan mereka untuk menerapkan konsep-konsep IPA melalui proyek coding. Temuan ini mendukung gagasan bahwa integrasi coding dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan mengembangkan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan di masa depan

    The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on the Assertive Behavior of Students in Grade VII of SMP Negeri 5 Kupang in the 2024/2025 Academic Year

    The aim of this research is to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on the assertive behavior of class VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Kupang for the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is a type of quantitative research. The variables in the research are the independent variable (X) emotional intelligence and the dependent variable (Y) assertive behavior. The population and sample in this study were 32 students in class VII C of SMP Negeri 5 Kupang for the 2024/2025 academic year. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire. Data analysis used simple linear regression analysis techniques and was processed using the SPSS for Windows version 26 application. The results of research data analysis showed that the t_count value .> ttable (41.107 > 0.361) at a significant level of 5% with df=n-2 (32-2 = 30). Apart from that, the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05, so the null hypothesis (H_0) is rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (H_a) is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of emotional intelligence on the assertive behavior of Class VII C students at SMP 5 Kupang for the 2024/2025 academic year

    Improving Students’ Reading Comprehension on Descriptive Text Through Structured Note–Taking Strategy

    This research aimed to improve the reading comprehension of tenth-grade students in understanding descriptive text by implementing the Structured Note-Taking Strategy at SMA Swasta Budi Agung Medan. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), carried out in two cycles, each comprising the phases of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The participants included 35 students from class X Muhammad Hatta, who faced challenges in recognizing main idea, supporting details, and structuring essential information from the text. Data collection involved both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative data were gathered through multiple-choice comprehension tests, while qualitative data were obtained from observation sheets, interviews, documentation, and field notes. The results demonstrated consistent improvement over the two cycles, with the students’ average score rising from 50.86 in the pre-test to 74.71 after the first cycle, and further increasing to 86.85 following the second cycle. These findings indicate that the Structured Note-Taking Strategy effectively aided students in identifying and organizing key information within descriptive text. These results suggest that the Structured Note-Taking Strategy effectively supported students in identify and organize important information in descriptive text, This strategy is suggested for broader application in reading activities to further strengthen students’ comprehension

    Pokok masalah dalam penelitian ini ialah mengenai aktivitas-aktivitas Muhammad Cheng Hoo Gowa.  Masjid Muhammad Cheng Hoo Gowa bukan hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat ibadah semata, tetapi juga menjadi pusat peradaban Islam yang menyentuh seluruh aspek kehidupan umat. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif jenis deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan historis, agama dan sosiologis. Dalam konteks kekinian, peran masjid semakin berkembang, sehingga masjid Muhammad Cheng Hoo Gowa menjadi episentrum kegiatan sosial, pendidikan, ekonomi, dan dakwah yang berkelanjutan serta olahraga. Masjid tidak lagi hanya menjadi simbol spiritualitas, melainkan juga menjadi sarana pemberdayaan umat secara holistik

    Kolaborasi UPT Perpustakaan dan Fakultas dalam Menangani Kasus Plagiarisme di Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram

    Plagiarisme merupakan salah satu bentuk pelanggaran etika akademik yang berdampak serius terhadap integritas ilmiah di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi. Keberadaan plagiarisme tidak hanya mencederai nilai kejujuran dan tanggung jawab akademik, tetapi juga melemahkan kualitas karya ilmiah serta merusak reputasi institusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kolaborasi antara Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Perpustakaan dan fakultas dalam menangani kasus plagiarisme di Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram, dengan menekankan pada strategi preventif dan kuratif yang diterapkan serta tantangan yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumentasi. Informan terdiri atas pimpinan universitas, kepala UPT Perpustakaan, serta dekan fakultas, yang berperan dalam kegiatan literasi informasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi antara UPT Perpustakaan dan fakultas berkontribusi signifikan dalam membentuk ekosistem akademik yang berintegritas. Perpustakaan berperan aktif melalui pelatihan literasi informasi, edukasi etika akademik, serta pemanfaatan perangkat lunak deteksi plagiarisme. Sementara itu, fakultas turut serta dalam proses pembimbingan karya ilmiah, evaluasi naskah akademik, dan pemberlakuan kebijakan etik. Namun demikian, kolaborasi ini masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti minimnya sinergi kelembagaan, keterbatasan infrastruktur, dan rendahnya kesadaran sivitas akademika terhadap pentingnya kejujuran ilmiah. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan kerja sama antara perpustakaan dan fakultas dalam upaya sistematis untuk mencegah dan menanggulangi plagiarisme. Rekomendasi yang diajukan meliputi integrasi literasi informasi dalam kurikulum, peningkatan kapasitas digital dosen dan mahasiswa, serta penyusunan regulasi bersama sebagai upaya membangun budaya akademik yang sehat, etis, dan berkelanjutan

    Bridging Gaps In English For Specific Purposes (ESP) Education:

    English's position as the global lingua franca facilitates communication across myriad industries, none more so than publishing. By a comprehensive literature review synthesising insight from previous research, this current study identifies challenges in ESP in publishing amid its significance and innovative pedagogical approaches. Limited exploration of emerging trends, underrepresentation of diverse publishing contexts, limited focus on interdisciplinary perspectives, etc., were found as gaps. Some innovative pedagogical approaches for publishing professionals and scholars and recommendations were revealed to address existing gaps and contribute to advancing knowledge in the field of English for Specific Purposes in publishing. By addressing these gaps, scholars can contribute to a more nuanced understanding of ESP in publishing and inform the design of targeted language learning interventions to meet the evolving needs of publishing professionals in diverse contexts.     The Influence of Using Genially Website Learning Media in Indonesian Language Subject of the Learning Outcomes of 8th Grade Students at SMP Negeri 3 Panca Rijang

    This study aims to determine the effect of using the Genially website interactive media on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of 8th-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Panca Rijang. This research uses a quantitative method. The research sample consists of 44 students from the 8th grade at SMP Negeri 3 Panca Rijang. The data collection techniques used are documentation to obtain the school profile, learning situation conditions, school facilities, the number of 8th-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Panca Rijang, and a multiple-choice test. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of using the Genially website interactive media on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of 8th-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Panca Rijang. This is evidenced by the students' learning outcomes. Based on the analysis of the research results, the average score is found to be Mx = 85.90 > My = 57.72, which leads to the conclusion that this study shows a significant impact of using the Genially interactive website media on students' learning outcomes

     The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) initiative is one of the important innovations of an independent curriculum designed to develop student competencies holistically, covering aspects of thinking, emotional attitudes, and physical skills. The urgency of this study lies in the need to ensure that the implementation of P5 is able to improve abilities that are relevant to the demands of the modern era. Such as involving the ability to analyze in depth, evaluate information objectively, and make decisions based on logical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication, which are very relevant to the demands of the modern world. This study aims to evaluate the extent to which the applied learning can provide effective results. based on P5 on the skills of class VII students at MTs DDI Kulo. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more efficient and useful learning methods, especially in the context of education in madrasas, as well as support the achievement of the goals of the Merdeka Curriculum in forming students with Pancasila characters. The output of this study covers several important aspects. First, this study will produce empirical data on the impact of P5 learning on student skills. Second, the results of this study are expected to provide practical advice for teachers in integrating P5 into the learning process. Third, this study can serve as a basis for educational policies at the madrasah level to strengthen the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. With this research, it is expected that students can improve their ability to think critically, work together in teams, and develop creative skills that are applicable. Expressing this text in everyday life means that we not only pay attention to what we know (cognitive aspect), but also how we feel or respond to something (affective aspect), and how we apply that knowledge and feelings in real action (psychomotor aspect) provides insight into how P5 can be implemented effectively in the madrasah environment, especially at MTs DDI Kulo, so as to support the continuous improvement of the quality of education

    Democratic Leadership in Educational Contexts: A Literature Review

    Salah satu gaya kepemimpinan yang relevan dalam konteks pendidikan adalah kepemimpinan demokratis, yang menekankan partisipasi aktif seluruh anggota sekolah dalam proses pengambilan keputusan dan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam implementasi dan dampak kepemimpinan demokratis dalam dunia pendidikan melalui metode tinjauan literatur terhadap artikel nasional dan internasional yang terbit pada tahun 2021–2025. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan demokratis berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan motivasi kerja, kompetensi pedagogik, disiplin, dan kinerja guru, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan kolaboratif bagi siswa. Selain itu, gaya kepemimpinan ini juga mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar dan peningkatan mutu lulusan. Namun, tantangan seperti waktu pengambilan keputusan yang lebih panjang dan keterbatasan sumber daya masih menjadi hambatan dalam praktiknya. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan strategi implementasi yang tepat agar kepemimpinan demokratis dapat memberikan dampak yang optimal dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara holistik

    The Effect of Differentiated Learning Assisted by Learning Videos on the Outcomes of Science Learning in Grade IV of State Elementary School 131 Palembang

    The research problem in this study is as follows: Does Differentiated Instruction Assisted by Learning Videos Influence the Learning Outcomes of Science and Social Studies (IPAS) among 4th Grade Students at SD Negeri 131 Palembang?. This research aims to determine whether the application of Differentiated Instruction Assisted by Learning Videos has an effect on the learning outcomes of 4th grade students at SD Negeri 45 Palembang. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. This study employed three data collection techniques: observation, tests, and documentation. Based on the research conducted by the researcher, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) To determine whether there is a significant effect on learning outcomes after the implementation of Differentiated Instruction assisted by learning videos, a test consisting of 10 multiple-choice questions was administered to 4th grade students. The use of one class showed that after the application of differentiated instruction assisted by videos, students’ learning outcomes improved. The average pretest score was 64.23 (categorized as good), while the average posttest score was 83.57. These results indicate that the use of differentiated instruction assisted by learning videos positively influences student learning outcomes. 2) The hypothesis test results in this study show that the Paired Sample T-Test yielded a significance value of 0.00. Since this value is less than 0.05, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Therefore, the hypothesis of this study is "There is a significant effect of Differentiated Instruction Assisted by Learning Videos on the IPAS learning outcomes of 4th grade students at SD Negeri 131 Palembang.
