Effect of Problem-Based Learning Model on Learning Motivation in Quality Control Course
Get PDFThis study is to evaluate the effectiveness of problem-based learning in increasing student learning motivation in quality control course at college in Lubuk Pakam, North Sumatra Province. The method approach used is quantitative research involving 40 college students as respondents. This research was conducted by providing teaching using problem-based learning, learning model for one semester, and then evaluating student learning motivation. Hypothesis testing uses simple regression analysis. The result showed that the implementation of problem-based learning model significantly increased students' learning motivation in quality control course. Students showed improvement in active engagement in learning, deeper conceptual understanding, and development of problem-solving skills. The findings highlight the importance of interactive and student-centered learning approaches in improving learning effectiveness in higher education

Get PDFPenelitian ini mengkaji peran tokoh sufi Tuan Guru Nyatok dalam melestarikan identitas budaya lokal di Pujut, Lombok Tengah. Melalui pendekatan sufistik, Tuan Guru Nyatok berhasil menyebarkan ajaran Islam tanpa menghilangkan tradisi dan kearifan lokal masyarakat setempat. Dengan menekankan aspek spiritual dan cinta kepada Tuhan, beliau mampu menyatukan nilai-nilai Islam dengan budaya lokal yang telah mengakar di masyarakat Pujut. Warisan Tuan Guru Nyatok tercermin dalam berbagai tradisi budaya yang masih dilestarikan, seperti upacara adat merariq, seni pertunjukan tradisional, arsitektur rumah adat, dan pengelolaan sumber daya alam berbasis kearifan lokal. Masyarakat Pujut berhasil menyerap nilai-nilai Islam tanpa menghilangkan identitas budaya mereka, seperti kepercayaan terhadap roh leluhur dan ritual-ritual adat yang dipadukan dengan ajaran-ajaran Islam. Ajaran tasawuf Tuan Guru Nyatok memberikan pengaruh mendalam terhadap kehidupan masyarakat Pujut, seperti pola hidup sederhana, penghayatan spiritual, dan hidup selaras dengan alam. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan modernisasi, masyarakat Pujut tetap berupaya melestarikan warisan Tuan Guru Nyatok sebagai identitas budaya yang bernilai tinggi. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya mempertahankan kearifan lokal sebagai benteng identitas masyarakat dan menjadi contoh harmoni antara Islam dan budaya lokal di Indonesia
The Influence of Using Interactive Media on Middle School Students' Ability to Understand Folklore Texts

This type of research is quantitative with an experimental research design. The aim of this research is to determine the results of media use interactive in increase motivation Study And ability understand Folklore text structure in Indonesian language learning. Population in This research consisted of class VII students at SMP Negeri 6 Barru with a selected sample class VII.1 JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Country 6 Barru. Technique collection data that is with using observation, tests ( pretest and posttest ) and questionnaires. Data What was collected was data regarding descriptive analysis and inferential analysis with testing hypothesis use t- test . Results analysis descriptive shows that there is a significant increase after using the media interactive with a percentage of 62.54% or 16 students who obtained excellent marks tall. Whereas results analysis inferential by using formula t- test obtain mark t count =16.46 And t table = 2.05, become t count >t table or 16.46 >2.05. To achieve the long-term goals of this research, the initial stage of research this year will focus on the use of Wehousebelda:Students have the perception of being able to learn and use the Wehousebelada LMS easily. Students have the perception that the Wehousebelda LMS is easier to use when compared to other online applications used by lecturers. The features provided on the Wehousebelda LMS are easy for students to understand and use. The Wehousebelda LMS really supports students as a tool in collecting assignments and accessing assignments again anywhere and at any time. Students' perceptions state they have sufficient time to access the Wehousebelda LMS to study and submit assignments.
Student perceptions stated that they preferred to continue using the Wehousebelda LMS for studying and submitting assignments in the following semesters. Student perceptions of the Wehousebelda LMS are very positive, in this case, the LMS supports online learning, especially in ICT-based learning media courses

This study aims to provide an overview of the design, implementation, and assessment of learning aimed at improving the basic reading skills of young readers in Group B in PAUD Az-Zahra Empat Lawang using flashcard media. This research uses qualitative techniques in the form of qualitative descriptive study. The data collection method used is a form of qualitative descriptive research. Improving Student’s Reading Comprehension on Narrative Text Through Annotating Strategy at the Eighth Grade of SMP Al-Washliyah Hamparan Perak
Get PDFThis study aims to improve the reading comprehension of the eighth-grade students at SMP Al-Washliyah Hamparan Perak by using Annotating Strategy. The research adopts a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, which conducted in two cycles. Each cycle is consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study subjects included 33 students who exhibited challenges in comprehending narrative texts, particularly in identifying main ideas and supporting details. The data of this study were collected through observation sheets, interviews, documentation, and reading comprehension tests. The analysis involved both qualitative and quantitative methods, which focused on the observation of classroom activities and the evaluation of students' performance through pre-test and post-test assessments. The results indicated a significant improvement in students' reading comprehension, with a noticeable increase in their ability to grasp narrative text content followed by the implementation of Annotating Strategy. The study recommends the wider adoption of this strategy in teaching reading comprehension, as it actively engages students in the reading process, thereby enhancing their understanding and retention of information.

Kepala sekolah harus memahami karakteristik individu dan dinamika kelompok di lingkungan sekolah untuk menentukan pendekatan yang efektif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 4 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, dimana peneliti mencoba menggambarkan kondisi atau fakta berdasarkan kasus yang terjadi di lapangan. Studi kasus dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk memperoleh solusi atas permasalahan yang terjadi di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat beberapa aspek yang menjadi fokus utama dalam menciptakan iklim kerja yang kondusif. Pendekatan kepemimpinan yang efektif dan inklusif dari kepala sekolah, komunikasi yang terbuka dan saling pengertian antar seluruh warga sekolah, serta pemberian masukan yang konstruktif terhadap kinerja guru menjadi poin penting dalam menciptakan iklim kerja yang kondusif. Dalam upaya menciptakan iklim kerja yang kondusif, diperlukan peran aktif dan kolaboratif antara kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. The purpose of this research is to explore various leadership styles and strategies implemented by the principal to improve the quality of education at SMP Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Plupuh, Sragen Regency, Central Java. Field research methods were used to collect data through interviews, observations, and documentation, with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results found that inclusive, democratic leadership with a family-oriented approach successfully created a conducive school environment for growth and innovation. An effective principal can integrate the educational vision with daily practices at the school, foster strong collaboration between staff and students, and build an environment that supports innovation and continuous learning
