Contribution of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in the Process of Implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum
teachers in implementing the independent learning curriculum. The aim of the research is to explore the contribution of Islamic Religious Education teachers in implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Tanjungkarang, Bandar Lampung. The field study method was used with observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The research subjects consisted of the principal and two Islamic Religious Education teachers. The results show that teachers have an important role in shaping student character, promoting tolerance, and integrating Islamic values. Despite facing challenges such as limited resources and resistance to change, with the right support, they can play a significant role in realizing the vision of the Independent Learning Curriculum. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of their role in education oriented to Islamic values. Recommendations include a good understanding of curriculum principles and innovative learning approaches, as well as appropriate training for teachers and adequate support from school principals
The Influence of Understanding Learning Design, Learning Environment, and Student Acceptance on the Teaching Creativity of Driver Teachers at Tanjung Jabung Barat regency
This study aims to investigate the influence of understanding learning design, optimizing the learning environment, and fostering student acceptance on the creative teaching practices of driver instructors in Tanjung Jabung Barat regency. Specifically, it seeks to explore how driver instructors' comprehension of learning design principles affects their creativity in instructional delivery. Examine the impact of the learning environment, including classroom dynamics, resource availability, and technological integration, on teacher creativity in driver education. Analyze the role of student acceptance and engagement in shaping teacher creativity and innovation within the driver education context. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, this research will employ qualitative interviews, quantitative surveys, and observational studies. Qualitative interviews will be conducted with driver instructors to gain insights into their perspectives on learning design, the learning environment, and student acceptance. Quantitative surveys will be distributed to gather data on teaching creativity and its determinants. Additionally, observational studies will be conducted in actual classroom settings to observe the dynamics between learning design, the learning environment, student acceptance, and teaching creativity. The analysis revealed significant relationships between understanding learning design, optimizing the learning environment, fostering student acceptance, and teaching creativity among driver instructors. Driver instructors' comprehension of learning design principles positively correlated with their creativity in instructional delivery. Furthermore, the learning environment significantly influenced teacher creativity, with conducive classroom dynamics and resource availability enhancing creativity. Student acceptance also played a crucial role, with higher levels of engagement positively associated with teacher creativity and innovation. This research underscores the importance of understanding learning design, optimizing the learning environment, and fostering student acceptance in promoting teaching creativity among driver instructors. The findings provide valuable insights for the development of evidence-based teacher training programs and curriculum frameworks aimed at enhancing creativity and innovation in driver education instruction. Ultimately, addressing these factors can contribute to the improvement of driver education programs, thereby promoting road safety and responsible driving behaviors in Tanjung Jabung Barat regency and beyond
Transformation of Learning in the Digital Era: Towards Innovative and Effective Learning at MTs TPI (Taman Pendidikan Islam) Purbasinomba Paluta
The digital era has brought significant changes to the world of education, including at MTs TPI (Islamic Education Park) Purbasinomba Paluta. This research aims to explore the transformation of learning in the digital era and its impact on innovation and learning effectiveness in the school. This research uses qualitative methods with case studies. Data was collected through interviews, observation and document analysis. The research results show that MTs TPI (Islamic Education Park) Purbasinomba Paluta has implemented several forms of technology in learning, such as computers, projectors, digital learning platforms and digital teaching materials. Despite efforts to implement technology, several challenges are still faced, such as limited infrastructure, teacher competency, and student participation. To overcome this challenge, this research recommends several strategies, such as teacher training, infrastructure development, and implementation of project-based learning. This research found that the technology-based learning transformation at MTs TPI (Islamic Education Park) Purbasinomba Paluta had a positive impact on student interest and motivation, digital literacy skills, and learning outcomes. In conclusion, learning transformation in the digital era can increase innovation and learning effectiveness with the right strategy. This research provides valuable insights for other schools looking to adopt technology in their learning processe
Philosophical Thinking in Building Civilized Millennial Humans
Humans are influenced by digitalization in all aspects of their lives; changes in thinking and way of life are inevitable. The emergence of various social media platforms with potentially destructive values is one of the most concerning issues. Thus, philosophy can offer an opportunity for the millennial generation to be an example for civilized people in the struggle against unpleasant irrationality. In this study, the researcher used the Library Research method in his research. By having philosophical thinking, millennials will have better filters in sorting and utilizing digital technology today
Integrating Traditional Games into Teacher Training Programs in Pinrang Regency to Enhance School Readiness and Child Development
This study aimed to analyze the integration of traditional games into teacher training programs as a strategy to enhance school readiness and holistic child development in Pinrang Regency, focusing on early-grade primary school teachers and kindergarten teachers. The research employed a mixed-methods design with a quasi-experimental approach, involving teachers, children, and parents from rural and urban areas. Teacher training sessions introduced culturally responsive, play-based strategies by integrating relevant traditional games. Children's developmental domains, including cognitive, motor, social-emotional, and linguistic, were assessed before and after the intervention. The results revealed significant improvements across all measured domains. Children exhibited better problem-solving abilities, enhanced cooperation, improved language skills, and better motor coordination. Teachers gained confidence in implementing intentional play-based teaching methods, while parents became more engaged in their children's educational experiences. Contextual differences between rural and urban areas underscored the adaptability of this approach to diverse environments. Cultural responsiveness emerged as a critical factor in fostering inclusivity and meaningful learning engagement. This study demonstrates that integrating traditional games into teacher training can positively impact school readiness. Culturally responsive, play-based methodologies enrich educational experiences and serve as a guide for future research, policy development, and educational practice
Mangerial Competence of the Head of Madrasah in Managing and Developing Islamic Education (PAI) at Madrasah Aliyah Pesantren Hidayatul Maarifiyah, Riau Province
Education plays a pivotal role in shaping the character, intelligence, and skills of the nation’s youth, aligning with the goals of Indonesia's National Education System. This study explores the managerial competence of the head of Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Ma’arifiyah in Pelalawan Regency, focusing on the planning, organizing, implementation, and control of Islamic Education (PAI). Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Results reveal the headmaster’s critical role in enhancing PAI through effective resource management, discipline enforcement, and stakeholder engagement. Challenges include adapting to pesantren-specific needs and societal demands while integrating modern pedagogical methods. The study highlights strategies for improving teacher professionalism through training, infrastructure upgrades, and a curriculum aligned with workforce demands. The headmaster’s leadership fosters a balance of formal and non-formal education, creating a conducive learning environment. This research emphasizes the importance of managerial competence in achieving the madrasah’s vision of producing ethical, competent, and innovative graduates
The Concept of Education in the UK
This study aims to analyse the education system in England using the library research method. The data used in this study come from various literature sources such as books, scientific journals, and official reports that discuss education policies, curriculum structures, and challenges faced by the English education system. The results of the study indicate that the education system in England has a well-structured curriculum that is oriented towards academic achievement and student skill development. However, there are significant challenges related to socio-economic disparities, which affect access to quality education and uneven adoption of technology. Based on these findings, this study suggests more inclusive policies and strengthening digital infrastructure to support the success of the education system in the future. This research is expected to contribute to the development of fairer and more equitable education in England
The Leadership Behavior of Madrasah Principals in Enhancing the Commitees in Jambi Province
Madrasah Aliyah plays a vital role in shaping the future generations of Indonesia, especially in fostering academic excellence and religious values. However, in Jambi Province, the commitment of madrasah committees to support the programs of Madrasah Aliyah has been hindered by various challenges, such as limited participation, a lack of synergy with school principals, and minimal innovation in communication patterns. This study explores how the leadership behavior of madrasah principals can influence the commitment of committees in Jambi Province. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling, involving principals, committee members, and teachers. Data was collected through interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings show that principals who engage committees in decision-making, encourage open communication, and integrate religious values into their leadership behavior are more successful in enhancing committee commitment. This study contributes to the development of leadership models that incorporate local culture and Islamic values, offering practical guidance for madrasah principals to foster better collaboration and management
Quality Management Analysis of Education in Response to Global Issues at Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School, Jakarta
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan visi misi pondok pesantren darunnajah dalam meningkatkan manajemen mutu dan untuk manajemen mutu di pondok pesantren darunnajah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui sudut pandang ilmu pendidikan dengan observasi partisipatif untuk menguraikan, menggambarkan, menggali dan mendeskripsikan fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian misalnya perilaku, persepsi, motivasi, tindakan, dan lain-lain secara holistik dan dengan cara deskripsi dalam bentuk kata- kata dan bahasa pada suatu konteks khusus yang alamiah serta dengan memanfaatkan berbagai metod alamiah. Pesantren dikatakan bermutu jika output yang dihasilkannya mampu menyatukan antara pendidikan agama dengan pendidikan umum sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Artinya, keseimbang-an dalam diri output pendidikan pesantren merupakan kebutuhan primer. Keseimbangan antara aspek yang transendental dengan yang profane dalam formulasi ini dan tujuan dari Pendidikan Islam ter-tuang di kerangka terminology pendidikan Islam sendiri. Dalam mencapai tujuan, sangat di butuhkan dan di perlukan proses perencanaan dan strategi yang sangat matang supaya dari apa yang nantinya di putuskan menjadi terarah dan sesuai dengan apa yang di inginkan serta memiliki visi misi yang jelas arah geraknya
Implementation of the Probelm Based Learning (PBL) to Improve Problem-Solving Skills on Static Fluid Material in Grade XI SMA Negeri 4 Jambi City
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi fluida statis di kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Kota Jambi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tiga pertemuan yaitu dua pertemuan kegiatan belajar dan satu pertemuan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa setiap siklus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa serta kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan klasikal siswa sebesar 55,56%, meningkat menjadi 83,33% pada siklus II. Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.
