    Artificial Intelligence in English Learning and Evaluation of Elementary School Teacher Education of Muhammadiyah University of Enrekang

    Revolusi industri 4.0 telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Teknologi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) menawarkan solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran bahasa, khususnya bagi mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi integrasi AI dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di Universitas Muhammadiyah Enrekang, dengan fokus pada mahasiswa semester 1 tahun ajaran 2024–2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, melibatkan 28 mahasiswa sebagai partisipan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi kelas, dan analisis dokumen, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan AI, khususnya melalui platform ChatGPT, memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa Inggris mahasiswa. AI memungkinkan pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel, memberikan umpan balik instan, serta meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam proses belajar. Namun, beberapa tantangan juga ditemukan, seperti ketergantungan pada koneksi internet yang stabil serta pemahaman mahasiswa dalam memberikan perintah yang efektif kepada AI. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan dukungan institusi pendidikan dalam meningkatkan infrastruktur teknologi, memberikan pelatihan bagi dosen, serta mengembangkan kurikulum berbasis AI. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang adaptif, guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan bahasa Inggris di era digital.  Kata kunci: kecerdasan buatan, pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, pendidikan dasar, ChatGPT, teknologi pendidika

    Development of game-based learning in integrated science and social studies to enhance environmental awareness and learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at MI Muhammadiyah Kalosi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui gambaran kebutuhan game based learning pada mata pelajaran IPAS (2) mengetahui kevalidan game based learning pada mata pelajaran IPAS (3) mengetahui kepraktisan game based learning pada mata pelajaran IPAS (4) mengetahui keefektifan pengembangan game based learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pengembangan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari analisis (analysis), desain (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Tahap analisis dilakukan analisis peserta didik, analisis guru, dan analisis kurikulum. Tahap desain dilakukan desain pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis game based learning yang meliputi perancangan storyboard, perancangan plot, dan uji coba kelompok kecil. Tahap pengembangan dilakukan dengan pengembangan media menggunakan aplikasi Smart Apps Creator yang terdiri dari tahap pembuatan media game pembelajaran dan tahap validasi. Tahap implementasi dilakukan dengan uji coba kelayakan media di lapangan yang terdiri dari uji coba lapangan/kelompok besar. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui keberhasilan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis game based learning yang terdiri dari gambaran kebutuhan pengembangan, kevalidan media game pembelajaran, kepraktisan media game pembelajaran dan keefektifan media game pembelajaran. Gambaran hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran lebih menekankan pada keterampilan peserta didik, guru, dan kurikulum pada pengembangan media game pembelajaran. Hasil uji validitas oleh para ahli terhadap media game pembelajaran berupa angket penelitian dengan hasil 4,46 kriteria “sangat layak” sehingga media game pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli lingkungan dan hasil belajar peserta didik layak digunakan. Hasil uji kepraktisan melalui uji coba lapangan/kelompok besar menggunakan angket , respon peserta didik menunjukkan hasil 8,7 kriteria “sangat layak” sehingga media game pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli lingkungan dan hasil belajar peserta didik dinyatakan sangat praktis. Hasil uji keefektifan melalui penilaian tes yang diberikan kepada peserta didik menunjukkan bahwa hasil nilai t hitung 37,763 > t table 2,086 sehingga media game pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli lingkungan dan hasil belajar peserta didik dinyatakan efektif

    The Improvement of Student Learning Outcomes in Civics Education (PKn) through the Active Learning Approach in Class V at UPT SDN 262 Pinrang

    This classroom action research aims to improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila and Civic Education through the implementation of the Active Student Learning Approach in grade V at UPT SDN 262 Pinrang. The research method uses a classroom action research design implemented in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects involved 32 fifth-grade students with data collection techniques through learning outcome tests, student activity observation sheets, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted descriptively both quantitatively and qualitatively to measure the improvement in learning outcomes and student activities during the learning process. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes from the pre-cycle with an average score of 65.78 increasing to 73.44 in cycle I and reaching 82.19 in cycle II. The percentage of classical completeness also increased from 46.88% in the pre-cycle to 71.88% in cycle I and reached 87.50% in cycle II. Student learning activities showed improvement from the moderately active category to very active. The research conclusion indicates that the implementation of the Active Student Learning Approach is effective in improving learning outcomes and student activities in Civic Education subject in grade V at UPT SDN 262 Pinrang

    The Use of Hello English Application in Improving Students’ Vocabulary Mastery

    Hello English is an English learning application used to help users improve their English language skills. The application presents a variety of learning materials, interactive exercises, and games designed to improve students' vocabulary. Therefore, this study aims to see whether students' vocabulary mastery can improve by using the Hello English application. The researchers applied the pre-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design in this study. The population of this study were eighth grade students of SMPN 10 Parepare. The sample of this study was eighth grade students consisting of 27 students, students were selected using simple random sampling. The form of pre-test given was 10 forms of matching test and 10 forms of fill the blank. The results showed that the pre-test scores of eighth grade students improved after being taught using Hello English application. The average score obtained by students through the pre-test was 68.51 and the post-test was 77.96. This is supported by the hypothesis test obtained t table value of 1.705. Thus, because the calculated t-test of 8.256 > 1.705, the basic selection of decision making is H0 rejected and Ha accepted. which means the Hello English application can improve the vocabulary mastery of eighth grade students of SMPN 10 Parepare. In addition, students also look active and enthusiastic in the learning process by using the Hello English application as a learning media

    Prevalensi pengguna ponsel secara signifikan memengaruhi berbagai faktor yang dapat berdampak buruk pada pengguna individu. Misalnya, mengenai prestasi akademik, kemampuan siswa untuk berkonsentrasi dapat menghasilkan hasil yang menguntungkan dan merugikan. Selain itu, hal ini dapat berdampak pada nilai prestasi akademik yang dicapai oleh siswa, yang menimbulkan kekhawatiran tentang ketidakjujuran akademik dalam penyelesaian tugas atau selama ujian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memastikan apakah ponsel berpengaruh terhadap konsentrasi studi dan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi konsentrasi studi mahasiswa yang terdaftar di Program Studi PAI semester enam di STIT Kota Pagar Alam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kuantitatif yang ditandai dengan pemanfaatan data kuantitatif, sehingga memfasilitasi analisis kuantitatif (inferensi) melalui penerapan rumus matematika-statistik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian ini berasal dari nilai r tabel korelasi. Rxy yang dihitung secara substansial lebih besar dari nilai r kritis pada tingkat signifikansi 5% (0,2182 > 0,316) dan pada tingkat signifikansi 1% (0,2182 > 0,408). Akibatnya, hipotesis alternatif (Ha) ditegakkan, dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara dampak penggunaan ponsel dengan konsentrasi belajar siswa

    Trends and Problems in Inclusive Education Research from 2018 to 2023: Bibliometric Analysis

    Using a bibliometric approach, this study analyses trends and problems in inclusive education research from 2018 to 2023. The data was taken from the Scopus database, with 200 publications found, sorted into 159 relevant articles, and then analyzed using the Biblioshiny software. The results showed a significant increase in the number of publications related to inclusive education, with the most significant spikes occurring in 2019 and 2020, with 46 articles each. The most frequently emerged keywords were inclusive education, special needs, disability, and inclusive pedagogy, which reflected the main focus on special needs and inclusive pedagogy. Geographical distribution shows that the research is dominated by developed countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, while developing countries still contribute relatively little. The network of collaboration between researchers is strong among developed countries, but cross-country collaboration with developing countries is still limited. The main problems identified in the literature are lack of teacher training, limited resources, and cultural resistance. In addition, there is a research gap in inclusive education at the university level and a lack of concrete solutions to address existing problems. This research provides important insights into the development of inclusive education research. It identifies areas that still need further exploration, especially in developing countries and in the context of higher education

R&D adalah metode yang mencakup berbagai kegiatan yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk, layanan, atau informasi baru. Penelitian ini menawarkan ringkasan menyeluruh tentang perdebatan dan landasan teoritis R&D sebagai metodologi penelitian, dengan fokus pada pendidikan. Pendekatan studi yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur, dengan fokus pada konsep dan potensinya untuk mendorong inovasi dalam pendidikan sebagai alat penelitian dan keterkaitan. Literatur tersebut bersumber dari Scopus, Web of Science Master Journal List, Google Scholar, dan Sciencedirect antara tahun 2020 hingga 2025.     Efforts to Increase Motivation and Completeness in Learning Mathematics Through the Wordwall-Assisted Problem Based Learning Model

    There are several factors that influence student learning completeness, one of which is learning motivation, an internal factor that students must possess. This research aims to improve the motivation and learning completeness in mathematics through the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Wordwall in Exponential and Logarithmic materials for the 10th-grade students at SMA Santa Maria Yogyakarta in the 2023/2024 academic year. This study is a Collaborative Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research are all 10th-grade students at SMA Santa Maria Yogyakarta. The research procedures were carried out in two cycles, each consisting of four stages: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, and 4) reflection. The variables in this study are the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Wordwall, learning motivation, and student mathematics learning completeness. Data collection techniques in this study included observation, questionnaires, and tests. The research instruments used were observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and test sheets. The percentage of student motivation in cycle I showed that 0% had very high motivation, 25.71% high, 40% moderate, 34.29% low, and 0% very low. However, student motivation in cycle II increased, with 2.86% in the very high category, 65.71% in the high category, 17.14% in the moderate category, 14.29% in the low category, and 0% in the very low category. Based on these results, it can be seen that there was an increase in student motivation from low to moderate, from moderate to high, and from high to very high. The mathematics learning process using the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Wordwall showed an increase in student test results. In cycle I, the average score reached 94.29, with 19 out of 23 students meeting the minimum completeness criteria (KKM), while in cycle II, the average score reached 95.68, with 21 out of 23 students achieving the KKM. It can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Wordwall can improve the motivation and learning completeness in mathematics of 10th-grade students at SMA Santa Maria Yogyakart

    The Implementation of Simple Project-Based Learning Syntaxes to Improve Pronunciation Element in Teaching Speaking

    This research aims to enhance students' speaking skills through project-based learning, increasing their engagement and active participation. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and classroom observations involving ten eleventh-grade students at SMAN 1 Sembalun academic year 2024. Thematic analysis was employed to identify critical patterns and themes within the collected data. The findings indicate that students found the project-based method a more enjoyable and meaningful way to practice speaking. They reported increased confidence and engagement in speaking activities due to the opportunities to work in groups and undertake relevant projects. However, some students also faced challenges like group collaboration and time management. This study provides in-depth insights into how project-based learning methods can impact students' speaking skills and offers recommendations for improving the implementation of this approach in the classroom
