    Tinjauan literatur ini mengeksplorasi peran sastra dalam Pengajaran Bahasa Inggris (ELT), dengan mengkaji teks-teks klasik dan kontemporer. Kajian ini menyoroti manfaat pedagogis dari pengintegrasian sastra ke dalam pengajaran bahasa, termasuk pengembangan kemampuan bahasa, kesadaran budaya, pemikiran kritis, dan kecerdasan emosional. Pendekatan metodologis yang dibahas berkisar dari penggunaan Shakespeare dan literatur klasik lainnya hingga novel kontemporer dan teknik berbasis drama. Kajian ini juga membahas tantangan seperti pemilihan teks, kesiapan guru, dan penggabungan teknologi digital. Praktik-praktik inovatif seperti pembelajaran campuran, unit tematik, dan pedagogi yang responsif terhadap budaya diidentifikasi sebagai strategi yang efektif untuk mengatasi tantangan-tantangan ini. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pemilihan teks yang bijaksana dan pengembangan profesional bagi para pendidik, serta perlunya penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai dampak jangka panjang dari ELT berbasis literatur dan peran sumber daya digital.     Assisting the Enhancement of Students’ Reading Interest through Teaching Assistance Activities at SMKN 08 Pinrang

    The community service program at SMKN 8 Pinrang was conducted through the Teaching Assistance Program (PKKM), aiming to enhance students' reading interest and foster a strong literacy culture. This activity aligns with the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi) and provides students with a valuable opportunity to gain both learning and working experiences through teaching assistance at SMKN 8 Pinrang.Based on an assessment of student literacy at SMKN 8 Pinrang, the program leveraged the potential to refine and develop students' reading interests. The teaching assistance program was fully supported by the university and supervised by field advisors. Reading interest activities were carried out through wall magazines, short story and numeracy competitions, and engaging activities tailored to subject-based ice-breaking sessions.The results of this program demonstrated an increase in students' literacy and reading interest, highlighting the significant role of university students in teaching assistance.     Baby boomer generation in America is considered to have a brighter future compared to the previous generations. This generation was born after World War II and started a new life amidst the contestations of their time. Consequently, they are perceived as a selfish generation prioritizing individual interests, leading to a blurred sense of humanism among them. Through J.D. Salinger's work, The Catcher in the Rye, these issues are expressed by implementing Salinger's worldview on humanism. Therefore, this research aims to unveil Salinger's worldview as reflected in The Catcher in the Rye. To elaborate, the researcher utilizes the genetic structuralism theoretical framework by Lucien Goldmann. The results of this study yield several points. Firstly, the structure and structuration in the novel can be observed through the relationships between Holden Caulfield and other characters, as well as the relationship between Holden Caulfield and the nearby objects. Secondly, there exists homology between events in the real world of the baby boomer generation and those depicted in the novel. Thirdly, Salinger presents a worldview of humanism in The Catcher in the Rye

    Manusia dipandang sebagai makhluk mulia dengan potensi luar biasa sejak lahir. Karena itu, Al-Qur'an menyebut tiga istilah, yakni: Al-Insan, An-Nas, dan Basyar untuk menggambarkan kemanusiaan. Mengingat manusia dianugerahi fitrah, akal, dan hati landasan kehidupan yang bermakna bagi setiap Muslim mereka tidak punya pilihan selain mengemban peran sebagai utusan atau khalifah di planet ini dengan segala tanggung jawab yang menyertainya. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pemahaman tentang hakikat dan tujuan hidup manusia menurut ajaran Al-Qur'an. Kemudian metode pengumpulan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan data dari dokumen-dokumen yang relevan sesuai dengan judul ini. Kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa Dalam Al-Quran, terdapat tiga aspek esensi manusia: Al-Insan yang menegaskan peran manusia sebagai khalifah atau pembawa amanah; Al-Nas yang mengindikasikan sifat sosial manusia; dan Basyar yang menggambarkan manusia sebagai entitas biologis. Di dalam Al-Qur'an bahwa manusia diciptakan dengan tujuan sebagai "abd" (hamba untuk menyembah), dan bahwa tugasnya adalah sebagai khalifah (pemimpin, pengatur, atau pemelihara).     Differences in Emotional Intelligence in Terms of Gender

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan kecerdasan emosional berdasarkan jenis kelamin pada mahasiswa Universitas Majalengka. Kecerdasan emosional adalah kemampuan untuk mengenali, memahami, dan mengelola emosi diri sendiri dan orang lain, yang berperan penting dalam keberhasilan akademik, hubungan interpersonal, dan kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif komparatif. Sampel terdiri dari 50 mahasiswa yang dipilih secara stratified random sampling, dengan proporsi jenis kelamin yang seimbang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner kecerdasan emosional berbasis teori Goleman yang mencakup lima dimensi: kesadaran diri, manajemen diri, motivasi, empati, dan keterampilan sosial. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan uji post-hoc Bonferroni. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kecerdasan emosional antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Siswa perempuan memiliki rata-rata skor kecerdasan emosional yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa laki-laki. Uji post-hoc memperkuat temuan ini dengan perbedaan rata-rata p < 0,05. Dimensi empati dan keterampilan sosial menjadi keunggulan utama siswa perempuan, sementara siswa laki-laki cenderung lebih kuat dalam mengelola emosi yang berkaitan dengan kompetisi dan pengambilan keputusan. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya program pengembangan kecerdasan emosional yang responsif gender untuk mendukung kesehatan mental, adaptasi sosial, dan keberhasilan akademik siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan intervensi berbasis kecerdasan emosional, terutama untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa laki-laki dalam pengelolaan emosi dan keterampilan interpersonal.

    Implementation of Numbered Head Together Assisted by Number Card Media to Improve the Ability to Recognize Number Symbols at Al-Barokah Kindergarten Jambi City

    This research aims to improve the ability of early childhood students to recognize number symbols through the implementation of the numbered head together method assisted by number card media at Al-Barokah Kindergarten, Jambi City. The background of this study is the low ability of children to recognize number symbols, including counting concrete objects, identifying numbers according to their symbols, and calculating quantities. Based on initial observations, the majority of children were at the "Not Yet Developing" (BB) and "Starting to Develop" (MB) stages, indicating a lack of mastery in basic numerical concepts. This research used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles. During the pre-action phase, all children were categorized as BB (50%) and MB (50%), with none achieving the "Developing as Expected" (BSH) or "Very Well Developed" (BSB) stages. After interventions using the numbered head together method and number card media, the results showed significant improvements. At the end of Cycle I, 44% of the children reached the BSH stage, and 6% reached the BSB stage. A more significant improvement occurred in Cycle II, where 87% of the children were categorized as BSB, and 17% as BSH. By the end of Cycle III, no children remained in the BB or MB categories. The conclusion of this study indicates that the implementation of the numbered head together method assisted by number card media is effective in enhancing the ability of 5-6-year-old children to recognize number symbols at Al-Barokah Kindergarten. This method successfully helped children grasp numerical concepts in an interactive and enjoyable manner, improving their cognitive ability to recognize number symbols and their counting skills

    The Effect of Aqidah Akhlak Learning on Student Learning Outcomes on the Material of Husnudzan, Tawadhu', Tasamuh, and Ta'awun

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh proses pembelajaran yang mencakup tujuan, metode, media pembelajaran, dan komponen lainnya, tetapi masih belum meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Ada sebagian siswa yang sudah mahir dalam pembelajaran. Tetapi sebagian lainnya masih pasif dan juga masih rendah nilai hasil belajarnya. Hal tersebut tentunya belum memenuhi ketentuan KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal) yang telah ditetapkan sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak, hasil belajar siswa dan seberapa besar pengaruh pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi husnudzan, tawadhu’, tasamuh, dan ta’awun. Jenis penelitian skripsi ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan desain one shot case study. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket, tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dimulai dari prosentase, uji korelasi product moment, koefisien determinasi dan uji signifikansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak termasuk kategori cukup dengan nilai 85%. (2) hasil hasil belajar siswa termasuk dalam kategori cukup dengan nilai mean 81. (3) hasil analisis uji t hasil t hitung = 2,367 ≥ t tabel = 1,684 artinya data signifikan

    The Application of Project Based Learning Model in the Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum to Enhance Students' Concept Mastery in IPAS Learning

    The purpose of this research is to investigate the improvement of students' conceptual mastery in IPAS subjects through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. This study is classified as a classroom action research with students from the fourth grade of SDN 5 Makale, totaling 29 students, as the subjects. Data analysis employs qualitative descriptive analysis. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model within the framework of the independent curriculum can enhance students' conceptual mastery. This is evident from the results of the students' conceptual mastery tests at the end of each cycle. The students' learning completeness in Cycle I was 51.72%, which increased to 86.20% in Cycle II

    Integrating Multimedia Presentations to Enhance Linguistic and Digital Literacy in Higher Education

    The digital era has transformed education, making linguistic and digital literacy essential skills for success. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of multimedia presentations on these literacies within the English Education Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Enrekang. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research measured improvements in students' skills through pre-test and post-test assessments, multimedia artifact evaluations, reflective journal entries, and lecturer observations. The results revealed significant enhancements in both linguistic and digital literacy, with students demonstrating improved language use and technical proficiency. Thematic analysis of journal entries highlighted skill development and challenges, emphasizing the importance of a supportive learning environment. Lecturer observations confirmed high levels of engagement and collaboration. The study underscores the need for innovative pedagogical frameworks and professional development for educators to effectively integrate multimedia tools. These findings contribute to the existing knowledge by demonstrating the potential of multimedia presentations to enhance educational outcomes and prepare students for the demands of the modern world. Future research should explore the long-term effects of multimedia tools on literacy development and consider cultural factors in educational strategies
