The development of the art performance module is expected to serve as an innovative learning alternative that supports the Merdeka Curriculum
Comparative Study of Students’ Cognitive Learning Outcomes Between Boarding School and Home Living in Al-Qur’an Hadith Learning for Grade 5 at MI Ya Bakii 01 Kesugihan
MI Ya BAKII 01 Kesugihan is a madrasah where some of the students live in Islamic boarding schools and some live at home. With the existence of Islamic boarding schools, it is likely that students who live in Islamic boarding schools will be better and excel in learning the Qur'an and Hadith. However, it does not rule out the possibility that students who live at home are actually superior to students who live at home, due to several factors. The objectives of this study are 1) to determine the cognitive learning outcomes of grade 5, 2) to determine whether there are differences in the cognitive outcomes of students who live in Islamic boarding schools and students who live at home, 3) to determine what factors influence students' cognitive learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a comparative type. The population in this study were 124 students of grade 5 MI Ya BAKII 01 Kesugihan. Furthermore, the data obtained were tested using the analysis prerequisite test with the normality test and the homogeneity test. The research data were tested using the independent sample T-test. Testing in the research showed that there was no significant difference in the scores of students who lived at home and students who lived in Islamic boarding schools
Development of Descriptive Text Learning Materials Based on Local Wisdom for Seventh Grade Students of MTs Negeri 1 Manado
The objective of this study is to develop descriptive text learning materials based on local wisdom for seventh grade students of MTs Negeri 1 Manado. To make the research more focused, the problem formulation is limited to three main issues: (1) what are the learning needs of descriptive texts in seventh grade at MTs Negeri 1 Manado; (2) what is the form and design of local wisdom–based learning materials in descriptive text learning; and (3) how effective is the implementation of local wisdom–based learning materials in descriptive text learning. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using Sugiyono’s model, which consists of ten steps, ranging from identifying potentials and problems to mass production. The research subjects included material experts, media experts, and seventh grade students. Data collection instruments consisted of questionnaires, tests, observations, and interviews. The data were analyzed descriptively to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the product.
The results of the study show that: (1) the developed learning materials meet the eligibility criteria in terms of content, language, presentation, and graphics, categorized as very feasible; (2) the local wisdom–based learning materials of North Sulawesi attracted students’ learning interest and facilitated their understanding of the structure and linguistic features of descriptive texts; and (3) the effectiveness test results revealed an improvement in students’ ability to write descriptive texts, with N-gain values falling into the medium to high categories. This study concludes that local wisdom–based learning materials are effective in improving students’ descriptive writing skills while simultaneously instilling the values of local wisdom in learners
The Utilizing of Microsite through S.id Platform as a Digital School Administration Portal for SMPN 01 Duhiadaa
This study aims to identify the use of the S.id microsite platform as a digital portal for teachers and education personnel in school administration at SMPN 01 Duhiadaa. The method used is a mixed method with a sequential exploratory design, combining qualitative (observation, interview) and quantitative (satisfaction survey) approaches. The development of the training program refers to the ADDIE model which includes the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The results of the study show that before the training, most teachers were not familiar with S.id platform. After participating in the workshop, participants were able to create an account, shorten the URL, adjust the appearance of the microsite, and produce digital products such as curriculum vitae, learning tools, and administrative tools. The survey data showed that 100% of respondents rated the interface access and interface to be easy to use, more than 70% rated the speed and administrative features as needed, 73% were satisfied, and 27% were very satisfied, while 91% rated the technical support adequate. These findings confirm that the use of microsites S.id effectively support the transformation of school administration towards an efficient and user-friendly digital system. ADDIE-based training programs have proven to be relevant to improve educators' technology skills while encouraging the creation of modern and sustainable school information management
The Concept of Islamic Religious Education in the Story of Hayy ibn Yaqzan by Ibnu Thufail and Its Relevance to Informal Education
This study aims to examine the concept of Islamic religious education in the story of Hayy ibn Yaqzan Ibn Yaqzan by Ibn Tufail and its relevance to the practice of informal education. The method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach. Data were obtained from the primary text and supporting literature, analyzed descriptively. The results show that Hayy ibn Yaqzan acquired knowledge through observation, experimentation, reasoning, intuition, and habituation—all of which reflect the principles of informal education based on fitrah (natural disposition), experience, and spirituality. This story is relevant as an inspiration for developing a contextual, independent, and life-integrated approach to Islamic religious education
The influence of adolescent red cross extracurriculars on students' discipline attitudes at SMA Negeri 1 Sekayu
This study aims to determine the influence of adolescent red cross extracurricular attitudes on the discipline attitude of students at SMA Negeri 1 Sekayu. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive statistical method. This study has a population of 50 people using the probability sampling technique with the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling method with an error rate of 5%, the number of samples in this study is 45 people. The results of the study show that the achievement of student activity can be seen from the results: 37.5% in cycle I, and an increase to 72.7% in cycle II. This increase can be seen from the students' learning outcomes in each cycle, which suggests that there was an improvement in the average score from cycle I to cycle II, and cycle III is no longer necessary, resulting in an improvement in reading ability
Validation of Educational Robotic-Based Vector Learning Module Using a Structured Inquiry Model to Improve Students' Computational Thinking Skills
The problem that occurs in research schools is that students have difficulty in visualizing vector material with real context. After conducting the analysis, the solution provided to the above problem is in the form of robotic educational media. The use of educational robotics is expected to help students understand the vector material produced from the visualization of robot movements. This development aims to produce a product in the form of an educational robotic-based learning module using a structured inquiry model to improve students' computational thinking skills. The products that have been produced will be tested for validity by material experts and media experts. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model which has only reached the development stage. The subjects of the study are physics teachers, material experts, and media experts. The data analysis technique used during the interview is spiral. Meanwhile, data from material experts and media experts used quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the data of the validation results that have been obtained from the first subject matter expert is 78.27% with fairly valid criteria. The second material expert gave a score of 96.53 with very valid criteria and media experts got a validation score of 92.83% with very valid criteria. Based on the results of the validation above, the educational robotics-based vector learning module uses a structured inquiry model to improve computational thinking skills that are suitable for use
