No full textThis study aims to describe terrorism through figurative language styles, both comparisons and linkages. This studyuses a stylistic approach that focuses its study on forms of linguistic formation, especially those contained in literarytexts. Stylistics is intended to explain the function of beauty in the use of certain linguistic forms, from aspects of sound, structure, lexical, figurative language, rhetorical means, to graphology. Based on the results of the above research on the poem ? ??????? by Nizar Taufik Qabbani, it was found that the types of figurative language styles in the lines of the poem, among others, are simile ( ?? ? ? ? ?? ), metaphor (???? ? ? ??? ), allegory ( ?? ? ?? ?? ), metonymy ( ? ??? ? ?? ). ), and synecdoche ( ?? ?? ?? ) in the type of pars pro toto and in the type of totum properte, but dominates in the description of the term terrorism in this poem

No full textThis article is entitled “The Role of Librarians in Learning Information Literacy for UIN Imam Bonjol Padang Students” The background in article writing is based on the current situation where university libraries rarely teach information literacy to students. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of librarians in learning information literacy for UIN Imam Bonjol Padang students. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The data used are primary data and secondary data, with interview and observation data collection methods. The informants selected in this study were four people consisting of three students and one librarian. The selection of informants in this study was taken using a purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data used using Miles & Huberman's data analysis model. Applying the aspects of Wheeler and Pamela McKinney about the role of librarians, the results of this study indicate that librarians have a role as learning support, librarian who teaches, or information literacy trainer

No full textState Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is a university with the status of a Public Service Agency and is required to improve the quality of its public services, including the quality of services and archive management. This study aims to determine the effect of archivist competence on archive management at State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, so it is hoped that the results can be used as a basis for consideration of policy making in managing archives to be better. This study uses a descriptive verification approach that describes the facts and data as they are. The object of this research is the competence of archivists and archive managers and their influence on archive management, with the population being archivists and archive managers at State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The results of this study indicate that the influence of archivist competence is not very significant in archive management at State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang because the influence of knowledge on the performance of the p-value (0.171) > (0.05) has no significant effect, the influence of skills on the performance of the p-value (0.305) > (0.05) had no significant effect, and the effect of attitude on the performance of the p-value (0.069) > (0.05) had no significant effect

No full textLiteracy is one aspect as a basic ability that must be possessed by someone, not only in educational institutions but in broad community forums. A person's literacy ability will make it easier for someone to understand and receive information. The aims of this study are: 1) To analyze the role of teachers in utilizing the reading corner program at MI Mansyaul Huda Gunungsari Bojonegoro. 2) To analyse the supporting and inhibiting factors of the reading corner program at MI Mansyaul Huda Gunungsari Bojonegoro. This research approach uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis used the Miles and Hubberman method. The results of this study indicate that through the Reading Corner Program implemented by MI Mansyaul Huda Gunungsari Bojonegoro, there are several identified teacher roles in improving students' literacy skills, namely the teacher being a facilitator and evaluator, the teacher being the person in charge of providing understanding, and the teacher encouraging students' literacy skills, through learning activities or the available Reading Corner Program. Supporting and inhibiting factors in this study, namely the first supporting factors, namely facilities, school culture, and community encouragement. Factors inhibiting student interest in learning and an environment that is not conducive. Supporting or inhibiting factors are important for teachers or educational institutions to identify, especially as a form of evaluation so that the learning carried out can run even better

The problem raised in this study is to look at the diction tendencies used by Ibn Araby in his work. The purpose of this study is to describe Mahyudin ibn Araby's diction contained in his essay "awrad al-yaum wa laylah". This study used a descriptive qualitative method with note-taking techniques. Thus, it can be obtained the research results of the diction form chosen by ibn 'Araby in the work "Aurad al-yaum wa laylah", after analyzing the data it is found; The language style is used by Ibn 'Araby, 5 Erotica, 15 Metaphor, 8 Repetition, 2 inversion, 1 rhetoric and 2 apophasis

No full textKnowledge management (KM) is an important issue in creating innovation and improving the performance of an organization. The emergence of KM brings new challenges and problems for librarians in defining information and knowledge management as the object they manage. This paper seeks to explore various ways for libraries to act as organizational learning tools while at the same time identifying ways to apply the concept of KM in library management as an organization. Literature study approach and bibliometrics are used in this study based on literature sources related to the implementation of KM in the libraries. This study found that MI is part of the KM concept that focuses on managing explicit knowledge, while overall KM manages tacit and explicit knowledge assets. In supporting the effective management of organizational knowledge assets, libraries need to expand the management role of the two forms of knowledge, so that the library can become a center for KM as well as organizational learning. Furthermore, the library as an organization can adopt the concept of KM in creating innovation and improving service quality. Digital libraries encourage KM in the management of organizational knowledge assets. The implementation of KM in the library can be applied to routine activities such as administration, strategic planning, reference services, and the use of knowledge management systems (KMS) to support collaboration in completing a particular project in libraries
TINJAUAN LITERATUR SISTEMATIS KEPEMIMPINAN DALAM MANAJEMEN PERPUSTAKAAN
No full textLeadership is an important component of library management. This study aims to collect and systematically analyze literature on library leadership, so that libraries as information center can provide the best services to users. The research method is a systematic literature review (SLR), collected literature using Publish or Perish (PoP), then extracted using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Literature Review and Meta-Analyses 2020 (PRISMA2020), then analyzed using VOSviewer. The results is the literature on library leadership was divided into 12 clusters with 244 keywords. The dominating keywords are style, diversity, assessment, staff, and framework. The conclusion of this systematic literature review research on leadership in library management states that the theme of library leadership is very interesting for researchers because library leadership does not have to follow the right leadership theory, every library leader has a unique way and has its own characteristics ranging from leadership style, assessment, diversity, and their own framework in approaching staff to achieve excellent service for users

No full textThe presence of art as an expression can be assumed as a characteristic of the soul's life which is overflowing and arid from values. That is why, the artists try to find the values of life that are full of values, by pouring their ideas and ideas in the form of works of art. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with literature and field studies. Two Islamic calligraphers were involved as resource persons. As a result, the current strong influence of modern art has caused Islamic calligraphy to be affected. This can be seen from the emergence of various tendencies of Muslim artists in processing Islamic calligraphy into various media. Previously, calligraphy had not been realized as a form of personal expression, but now this awareness has emerged in the form of the phenomenon of calligraphy painting. Calligraphy painting as a reflection of the modern spirit of Muslim artists has provided fresh air for the development of Islamic art and culture in Indonesia. Uniquely, in Indonesia, calligraphy painting was born in the hands of conventional painters who had not previously been in the world of Islamic calligraphy directly.

No full textThis study aims to see how the UGM library responded at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. This paper describes the state of the library at Gadjah Mada University since it was closed in early March 2020 until November 2020. In addition, this paper provides details on how libraries have adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected from web pages, blogs, social media and interviews. The results show that the Gadjah Mada University library has undergone a service transformation that implements the COVID-19 health protocol. Almost all library services are virtualized. Therefore, there are several challenges faced by librarians and users in carrying out virtual activities in the library
