EXISTENCE AND EFFORTS FOR PRESERVING INDONESIAN ISLAMIC TRADITIONS IN GRESIK
This article examines efforts to preserve Indonesian Islamic traditions in Gresik, a city rich in Islamic cultural and historical heritage. Through qualitative descriptive research methods, this research highlights various local religious practices and rituals that have been passed down from generation to generation. In the context of globalization and modernization, these traditions continue to face challenges in maintaining their authenticity. However, the people of Gresik remain persistent in maintaining their Islamic heritage, whether through community activities, socio-cultural activities, or local religious education. This article also highlights the importance of collaboration between the government, community, and academics in supporting efforts to preserve Indonesian Islamic traditions in Gresik
The Role Of Adab Evaluation Sheets In Improving Students' Spiritual Attitudes In Islamic Religious Education Subjects
This research aims to determine the role of the adab evaluation sheet media in PAI learning subjects on students' spiritual attitudes, which is based on a state elementary school located on the outskirts of the city. The results of the researcher's observations concluded that in the initial observation, the researcher found that students did not understand and practice good character in everyday life, such as respect for older people, which was identified through when they spoke to older people, behavior when they meet on the street, and interrupt the conversation of older people when they are explaining learning or giving advice. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method which will explain the steps from distributing the etiquette evaluation sheets to the results. The final results of the assessment of the adab evaluation sheet are very influential in improving students' spiritual attitudes of adab where the percentage scale reaches 7.63%. In this way, the etiquette evaluation sheet becomes a form of daily monitoring that can be used to control students' etiquette so that they continue to carry out the noble etiquette that has been taught
Teachers' Efforts In Shaping Students' Critical Thinking Skills In Learning At The Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Level
This study examines teachers' efforts in improving students' critical thinking skills at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. Through qualitative methods and case studies, research involves teachers and students as subjects. Data were collected through qualitative research methods. The findings show that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Country 5 Jember teachers use various ways to encourage students' critical thinking skills, such as critical questions, discussions, selection of relevant material, feedback, and critical thinking tasks. Teacher-student interaction and student empowerment through projects also have a positive impact. The conclusion of this study confirms that the role of teachers is very important in shaping the critical thinking skills of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. The implication is that curriculum development and teacher training need to pay attention to effective strategies in stimulating critical thinking skills. These findings provide insight for the development of education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Country 5 Jember, emphasizing the importance of critical thinking skills as an integral part of learning
Nilai Multikulturalisme Fikih Kebangsaan Ma'had Aly Lirboyo Kediri
Realita Indonesia sebagai negara dan bangsa yang multikultural mengharuskan setidaknya ada pendidikan yang mengajarkan kemajemukan untuk menghadapi heterogenitas masyarakat dalam rangka membangun integrasi sosial dan mereduksi sentimen etnosentris dan primordial kelompok. Internalisasi nilai-nilai multikultural fikih kebangsaan dalam memproyeksikan sikap inklusif-pluralis agama Islam yang rahmatan lil ‘alamin terhadap masyarakat multkultural menjadi hal menarik untuk ditela’ah lebih jauh dalam diri mahasantri sebagai representasi peserta didik lainnya. Fokus penelitian yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini meliputi pertanyaan; (1) Apa nilai-nilai multikulturalisme dalam fikih kebangsaan di Ma’had Aly Lirboyo? (2) Bagaimana internalisasi nilai-nilai multikulturalisme dalam fikih kebangsaan terhadap mahasantri Ma’had Aly Lirboyo?. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data diperoleh dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini berupa teknis analisis deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan teori yang terulas pada kajian pustaka.
Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa (1) nilai multikulturalisme pada fikih kebangsaan adalah nilai inklusif, nilai pluralis, nilai humanis, nilai toleransi, nilai demokratis, nilai kesetaraan dan keadilan (2) Internalisasi nilai-nilai multikulturalisme dalam fikih kebangsaan di Ma’had Aly Lirboyo diupayakan dengan dua cara; pertama, upaya teoritik yang diimplementasikan melalui pengembangan kurikulum kebangsaan, penyusuan tiga buku konsesnsus bahstul masa’il, yaitu Fikih Kebangsaan I-III. kedua, upaya praktik yang direalisasikan dalam bahstul masa’il, penyusunan karya ilmiah berupa risalah, dan safari ramadhan serta daerah. Dengan perspektif Peter L. Berger dan Thomas Luckmann, internalisasi multikultural Mahasantri di Ma’had Aly Lirboyo melalui tiga tahap dialektika: Eksternalisasi, mereka menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungan mereka. Objektivasi, mereka memperoleh pengetahuan dari pengalaman langsung. Internalisasi, mereka menginternalisasi pengetahuan tersebut melalui pengulangan dan penghayatan, yang kemudian menghasilkan pola kesadaran, dan akhirnya mendorong tindakan atau sikap mahasantri
Hubungan Hubungan antara Air dan Makhluk Hidup dalam Al-Qur'an
Abstrak :
Air merupakan senyawa yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan di muka bumi. Allah menciptakan air sebagai sumber dari kehidupan dan sebagai sebab adanya kehidupan di bumi ini. Air sendiri merupakan unsur sangat yang dibutuhkan oleh semua makhluk hidup. Mulai dari mikroba yang berukuran mikroskopis sampai dengan manusia. Bahkan, tidak akan ada kehidupan apabila dalam bumi ini tidak ada air, karena seluruh makhluk hidup membutuhkan air untuk bertahan hidup. Terdapat 32 ayat yang menjelaskan terkait hubungan antara air dan makhluk hidup. Sehingga, untuk memahami bagaimana hubungan antara air dan makhluk hidup dalam al-Qur’an, penulis mengkaji beberapa ayat yang sesuai dengan klasifikasi manfaat air dalam kehidupan makhluk hidup. Penelitian ini tidak menggunakan pendapat tafsir yang dikhususkan, melainkan mengambil pendapat dari beberapa tafsir yang dianggap relevan dengan tema yang dibahas, agar penjelasan yang disampaikan dapat dijelaskan secara luas serta mendalam. Penelitian ini tergolong ke dalam jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dan menggunakan pendekatan Ulum Al-Qur’an dan Sains. Posisi pendekatan Ulum Al-Qur’an dan Sains ialah sebagai alat untuk menganalisa ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang menjelaskan terkait hubungan air dan makhluk hidup. Penelitian ini mengajuan satu rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana hubungan antara air dan makhluk hidup dalam Al-Qur’an. Hasil penelitian ini ialah bahwa air merupakan komponen yang sangat vital bagi kehidupan makhluk hidup, diantarnya: 1. Air sebagai bahan dari terciptanya makhluk hidup, 2. Air sebagai sarana bersuci, 3. Air sebagai sarana pengobatan, 4. Air hujan bermanfaat bagi kehidupan makhluk hidup, 5. Air sebagai sumber minum bagi makhluk hidup, 6. Air dapat menumbuhkan tumbuhan. Keenam manfaat air yang dijelaskan oleh Al-Qur’an tersebut terkonfirmasi oleh ilmu-ilmu sains.

A Ndalem Caritagama, Art Management that Shows the Character of the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW Through a Gallery
This research aims to describe an art management that conveys heroic values in Islam which is packaged in the form of a gallery. A gallery is a place to present works of art to be communicated to the public. The nDalem Caritagama gallery is designed to visually present the heroic characters of the Companions of the Prophet. This gallery displays images of Islamic heroes packaged in Javanese culture, namely the Wayang Kekayon Khalifah. This description needs to be presented considering that there are not many artistic structures that emphasize the heroic character of Islam through galleries packaged in Islamic-Javanese culture. The appearance of the characters of the Prophet's Companions packaged through Javanese culture on display will open insight into heroic values in Islam through the gallery. Anyone who visits will be able to enjoy the beauty and increase knowledge about the heroism of the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW through the gallery approach
WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP AS CAREGIVERS AT THE IAINU PRINCESS STUDENTS' ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL - KEBUMEN (AN NAHDLAH ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL KEBUMEN)
Progress in educational institutions is based on the ability of leaders to mobilize their members or those they lead. Especially in leading student Islamic boarding schools. Each student has their own character and age which can be said to have strong principles and is difficult to regulate due to the influence of activist associations. This research aims to determine the leadership roles of Female Islamic Boarding School Teachers at An-Nahdlah Islamic Boarding School. This research uses qualitative research, where data is collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research illustrate that the leadership of Islamic boarding school caregivers is able to mobilize and make students effective in a good way. This is influenced by the background of the caregiver, who when he was young was a student and activist. So that the character of activists who become students at the An - Nahdlah Islamic Boarding School can also be made effective
INTERNATIONALIZING PESANTREN HIGHER EDUCATION BY BILINGUAL TEACHING
After the government decreed Minister of Religious Affairs Regulation No. 18/2019 regarding the legality of pesantren, these days pesantren have grown significantly. The law also makes a clear distinction between pesantren and Islamic boarding schools. Currently, pesantren is growing rapidly and have established higher educations in order to preparing their graduates to survive and competing in the challenges of globalization era. This research was conduct with the qualitative descriptive methode. The first finding of this research was there are three types of pesantren higher education, they are: university at pesantren, pesantren based university and university-level pesantren. Secondly, students of pesantren universities need to master at least two languages, namely Arabic and English in order to compete internationally and this can be obtained from the learning system at pesantren higher education which already provided bilingual learning programs. The two main languages that are commonly applied in the teaching system in pesantren are expected to be a provision for its graduates in facing the increasingly open free international trade competition
School-Based Management: Improving the Quality of Guidance and Counseling Services in Islamic SMK.
This study examines the implementation of school-based management (SBM) in improving the quality of guidance and counseling services at SMK Islam Sudirman 1 Ambarawa. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with interview, observation, and document analysis techniques. The results showed that SBM provides greater autonomy to educational institutions, enabling more effective resource management and increased participation of school and community members in achieving national education goals. The implementation of SBM requires close cooperation between all stakeholders, including principals, teachers, students, counsellors, as well as government representatives and educational organizations. Therefore, the preparation of the guidance and counseling program must involve the active participation of all stakeholders and uphold the principle of openness. This research emphasizes the importance of collaboration in improving the effectiveness of guidance and counseling services at SMK Islam Sudirman 1 Ambarawa. The impact of this research on the science of Islamic education is an increased understanding of effective management practices and the relevance of guidance and counseling in supporting holistic student development
Implementation Of The Independent Curriculum In Akidah Akhlak Learning To Train Students Critical Thinking
This study aims to describe the application of learning akidah akhlak based on the merdeka curriculum to train students critical thinking, and describe the teachers way to train students critical thinking. This research was conducted at Muhammadiyah 11 Randegan Elementary School, with the research subjects being class teacher, akidah akhlak teachers, and fifth grade students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses a triangulation technique, which has a flow, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of the merdeka curriculum in learning akidah akhlak, the teacher must integrate students critical thinking skills. The implementation of akidah akhlak learning begins with preliminary activities. Then the core activities in the form of exploration phases for students, core activities as a process of akidah akhlak teachers to hone, train, and develop students critical thinking skills, through several sparking questions, and closing activities. The strategy of the akidah akhlak teacher in training students critical thinking through strategies with discussion methods, problem-based learning, and through the project of strengthening the profile of pancasila students
