    PAI Teacher's Personality Competencies In Strengthening Character

    This study aims to examine the discipline of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at SMP Negeri 28 Medan and find out the extent to which the discipline of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers improves student character. The method used is a qualitative descriptive technique, and the type of research is field research. As the main data source, interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers were used to collect information, followed by observations on PAI teachers' disciplinary practices and student character that could be improved. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or validation. The results showed that PAI teachers are quite disciplined, but not all student character development can be improved. By obeying school rules by arriving on time, student discipline can be improved. PAI instructors who carry out their main duties can increase student accountability. Consequently, when a teacher is strict with students, the value of discipline and responsibility of students will increase. This research contributes by providing input to schools on how to establish cooperation between teachers and parents so that character education in children is maximally strengthened

    Media pembelajaran adalah segala sesuatu yang dapat digunakan untuk menyalurkan pesan (bahan pembelajaran), sehingga dapat merangsang perhatian, minat, pikiran dan perasaan siswa dalam kegiatan belajar untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran tertentu. Yang di sini pendidik sangat berpengaruh dalam kesuksesan belajar peserta didiknya. Untuk menarik perhatian murid tentu guru harus pintar dalam mengo disikan keadaan kelas dengan cara yang unik atau sesuatu yang tidak biasa agar terciptanya kelas yang PAKEM. Teknologi bertujuan agar dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan memungkinkan berbagai kegiatan dapat dilaksanakan dengan cepat, tepat dan akurat, sehingga akhirnya akan meningkatkan produktivitas, begitupun pada proses pembelajaran Bahasa Arab.     Hegemoni Khulafa’ Al-Rasyidin Dalam Penerapan Kebijakan Taqlil Al-Riwayah

    This article examines Khulafa’ al-Rasyidin's policy of imposing restrictions on the transmission of hadith which began to develop at that time. The implementation of the taqlil al-riwayah policy is quite different and seems to conflict with the time of the prophet. During the time of the Prophet, the companions were asked to spread the words of the Prophet to people who did not know them, but during the time of the Khulafa’ al-Rasyidin they adopted a policy of limiting (al-tathabut fi riwayah) and reducing transmission (taqlil al -riwayah). So ultimately the policies taken are contrary to what the prophet ordered. In this research, the method used is qualitative-descriptive through library research. The results of this study show that the implementation of the taqlil al-riwayah khulafa' al-rasyidin policy had a major influence on the development of hadith after the Prophet's death. As a religious leader, the caliph of course takes care of matters relating to religious affairs as well as the hadiths of the prophet. The taqlil al-riwayah policy is a form of caution in transmitting hadith from irresponsible people. The caliphs' caution in narrating hadith from the prophet was simply fear and worry of making mistakes in the hadith either being tainted by lies or alterations

    Aplikasi Teknologi “Manfaat Jasad Renik” (MJR) pada Budidaya Ikan Lele sebagai Upaya Penguatan Ekonomi Masyarakat Desa Pandansari, Kecamatan Ajibarang, Kabupaten Banyumas

    Desa Pandansari kecamatan Ajibarang merupakan daerah dengan wilayah cukup gersang dan sumber air terbatas. Kegiatan ekonomi masyarakat desa Pandansari ditopang dari sumberdaya manusia yang bekerja pada sektor pertanian, namun banyak yang masih belum bekerja sehingga dapat menjadi potensi permasalahan di masyarakat. Berangkat dari hal tersebut, diperlukan suatu terobosan berupa penerapan teknologi yang dapat membantu masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pendapatannya. Budidaya ikan lele dapat menjawab permasalahan tersebut dengan mengaplikasikan teknik ―Manfaat Jasad Renik‖ (MJR) yang hanya membutuhkan lahan dan air relatif sedikit. Namun sejauh ini masih terkendala beberapa permasalahan, salah satunya masyarakat belum mengetahui teknik budidaya ikan sistem MJR. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan kegiatan transfer teknologi dan pendampingan melalui kegiatan Ipteks bagi masyarakat (IbM). Dalam kegiatan ini, dipilih dua kelompok masyarakat, yaitu kelompok Muslimat NU dan kelompok santri Pondok Pesantren Darul Mujahidin yang memiliki potensi untuk diberdayakan dan didorong agar dapat menjadi stimulator bagi kelompok masyarakat lainnya. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatif. Ipteks yang akan ditransfer sebelumnya dikomunikasikan dan dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan sosialisasi untuk memberikan gambaran secara umum tentang teknologi tersebut melalui penayangan video dan diskusi grup. Sebagai tindak lanjut dari kegiatan penyuluhan kemudian diadakan demplot percontohan. Langkah selanjutnya adalah melakukan kegiatan budidaya bersama anggota kelompokdengan teknologi dan peralatan sesuai pada kegiatan demplot. Fasilitasi diskusi dan konsultasi diberikan sebagai bagian integral dari proses alih teknologi dan informasi. Kegiatan ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan pemahaman anggota kelompok terhadap teknologi MJR sehingga memudahkan dalam adopsi teknologi dan pengembangannya

    PAI Study Program Strategy to Improve Students' Academic Achievement

    This article examines academic achievement, human resources and higher education benchmarks. This is very important for a student to know where his abilities are. This research uses qualitative methods to collect data by direct observation in the field and conducting interviews with students at the North Sumatra State Islamic University (UINSU) in the PAI Study Program as well as running a Documentation Study which is used to test, interpret and predict as a data source. The results of this research are about the strategies of the PAI study program in improving student academic achievement. Some of the strategies implemented are providing academic ethics at the beginning of lectures, encouraging students to read from various sources, establishing a scheduled learning system, establishing an effective lecture system, urging students to maintain a balance between studies, work and organizations; assess students' academic abilities; and conducting personal counselling and collaboration with families in helping students

    Peran Kepala Madrasah Dalam Mengembangkan Budaya Religius di MTs. Negeri 2 Jepara

    The purpose of the study was to describe the role of the madrasah principal in developing a religious culture in madrasah, explain the factors that support and hinder in developing a religious culture, knowing the results of its development through the role of the madrasah principal. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The location is at MTs. Negeri 2 Jepara. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis is reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results showed that; 1) The role of the madrasah head in developing a religious culture through 4 strategies: habituation, exemplary, value internalization, and partnership.  2). Supporting factors, including: a). strong leadership b). Highly committed teachers and staff, c). Curriculum integrated with religious values and religious activities d). An environment that supports religious practices e). Parental participation. Inhibiting factors, including: low commitment and understanding of teachers, students, and parents about the importance of religious culture; lack of resources/supporting facilities; demands of a dense curriculum; the influence of secular environment outside Madrasah; Non-involvement or lack of support from parents. 3) The development is in the form of: a). Dhuha prayers every day at break time, at 09.40 WIB in the mosque and accompanied by the teacher on duty; b.) Praying and tadarus al-Qurán; c). Jama'ah dhuhur prayer; d). Istighotsah / prayer together; e). PHBI

    Managing Excellent Class Programs In Increasing Learning Achievement

    The world of education is entering this global era with all its advantages and challenges. With a positive response, it will implement tight competition between schools and trigger creative efforts by education administrators to improve the quality of their schools. In general, madrasas as Islamic educational institutions lose out in this global competition. In conditions of intense competition like this, the role of a strong image will be increasingly important for service providers in winning the competition. It is in this context that Islamic education institutions carry out strategies to improve the image of madrasas, one of which is with a superior class program. This researcher aims to analyze the superior class program management in improving student achievement. This researcher uses a qualitative approach with data collection procedures using interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the process of data collection and data analysis, the researchers produced superior class program management in improving student achievement at MAN 1 Wonosobo , namely planning including concepts, input processes, infrastructure and data sources; organizing includes the organizational structure: implementation includes the recruitment of teaching staff, the learning process and the curriculum used; evaluation includes evaluation of learning, achievements obtained by students and their output

    This research examines the pattern of Islamic Education Management in Mandailing Natal; this research was carried out at the Musthofawiyah Islamic Boarding School in Purbabaru. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive system. A descriptive approach is a method that describes or provides an overview of the object under study through data or samples. Data sources used are primary and secondary data; data collection techniques include interviews, documentation, and observation. As for the research results, The curriculum pattern at the Musthofawiyah Purbabbaru Islamic boarding school is very thick with maintaining the educational design; Syekh Musthofa Husen Nasution formed the initial tradition because starting from the change of the pesantren leadership until now, the curriculum has been held the same as the initial establishment of the Musthofawiyah Islamic Boarding School Purbabaru, the teaching pattern of the Musthofawiyah Islamic Boarding School Purbabbaru using four teaching patterns, especially Islamic religious studies, namely in the form of speaking methods, question and answer, dictation (Imla') and discussion, the facilities and infrastructure of the Mustofawiyah Islamic Boarding School experienced many changes in leadership from time to time both physically and non-physically, only a few secondary needs alone are still not enough

    Teacher-Student Relationship In Dealing With The Violence In An Educational Environment: Perspective Of Imam Al-Ghazali In The Minhajul Muta’allim Book

    Teaching and learning activities involve a series of activities carried out by teachers and students who act as actors in education. Both of them interact with each other to achieve predetermined goals. The relationship between teacher and student is inseparable from the components that support ongoing learning activities. The teacher-student relationship is also a protective factor against the emergence of violence in schools. However, sometimes this violence often occurs in educational settings. So, in this study, a researcher will analyze the teacher-student relationship through the thoughts of Imam Al-Ghazali from the Book of Minhajul Muta’allim in dealing with violence in the educational environment. This research is qualitative, using the descriptive-analytical method. and this research is also library research, using content analysis as a data analysis technique because this research relies on text and aims to describe the results of the research. This study explains that Al-Ghazali as a Sufi with a philosophical background has a philosophy of education concept. Al-Ghazali colored his thoughts referring to the basic concept of ethics which is better known as “moral education” which is in line with the goals of education proclaimed by Al-Ghazali, namely to form full-time human beings who aim to get closer to Allah SWT and get happiness in life in the world and the hereafter because of education. According to Al-Ghazali is to eliminate the bad morals of students and in still have good morals in them. In his thinking about the teacher-student relationship, both of them must have a sincere intention in studying and teaching knowledge as well as purifying the soul from despicable morals and bad traits that can eat away at the heart. So as long as the heart is not cleansed of vile things, it will not be easy for it to receive beneficial knowledge. So that it can avoid the occurrence of acts of violence in the educational environment and create an ideal education with a divine foundation and prioritize morality and then the intellectuality of students

    Interreligious Tolerance In Higher Education: A Study Of Islamic Campus In Central Kalimantan

    The diversity of the Indonesian nation also extends to the realm of religious differences. This causes Indonesia to be very vulnerable to friction, so there is a need for guidance regarding tolerance to prevent this condition. Central Kalimantan, which is synonymous with being a tolerant religious area, through universities provides guidance to students regarding tolerance. This research is (field research) in the form of qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques namely, observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research conducted, it was found that, 1) the aim of fostering tolerance I PAI STAI Kapuas and PAI FTIK IAIN Palangka Raya is to equip students with a more moderate outlook and behavior in understanding religion and prioritizing tolerance, 2) the coaching method used is the advice method , and lecture or discussion methods, 3) the pattern of use uses a democratic approach because students act as partners
