Patronage of Kyai Leadership in Building Parental Choice in Islamic Boarding Schools
This research focuses on the influence of Kyai leadership patronage in building parental choice in Islamic boarding schools. The aim is to understand how Kyai leadership influences parents’ decisions in choosing an Islamic boarding school and how this impacts the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type involving in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies at the Bumi Al-Qur’an Islamic Boarding School, Kotaanyar, Probolinggo. The research results show that Kyai’s personality and spiritual authority, advice and guidance, and good communication with parents are the main factors in building trust and loyalty. Kyai’s strategies in strengthening social capital and active presence in community activities also contributed significantly to parents’ decisions. This research makes an essential contribution by updating the perspective on charismatic leadership in the context of religious education and highlighting the role of social capital in shaping parental choice. The implications of this research show that improving the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools can be achieved through inclusive and participatory Kyai leadership. Further, more comprehensive research is needed to overcome limitations in various respondents and research methods
The Role of The Head of The Islamic Boarding School In Preventing Problems With Teachers of Fiqh Subjects
This research examines the role of the head of Islamic religious schools in preventing problems among teachers of fiqh subjects. Islamic Religious Education subjects are one of the important components in learning fiqh, and teachers' problems in madrasas vary depending on various factors, including the problem category. The research used qualitative descriptive methods and madrasa heads. The research aims to find out and understand teachers' problems in learning fiqh. This research also explored the perceptions of madrasa heads, fiqh subject teachers, curriculum wakakulum, and guidance and counseling teachers. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subject involved the head of the madrasah. Data collection was carried out through interviews with madrasa heads, fiqh subject teachers, curriculum wakakulum teachers, guidance and counseling teachers. The data analysis process usually involves several stages, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are that the teacher's problems in learning fiqh at the madrasah have been resolved before the teacher's problems and are in accordance with the rules of educational regulations. Teacher problems in fiqh learning carried out by fiqh subject teachers are in the form of delivering material and learning methods. The conclusion of this research is that the way to solve teachers' problems in learning fiqh is to provide special guidance so that they can be resolved by the head of the madrasah
Innovative Leadership In Madrasah: Strategies For Improving The Quality Of Religious Education
This study explores how madrasah leaders endeavour to improve the quality of religious education through innovative leadership. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through interviews, documentation and observation. Data analysis began with reviewing all data obtained from various sources, followed by a data reduction process. The condensed data was organised in a structured manner by selecting important points. The research findings show that: The madrasah head adopts a forward-thinking leadership approach, collaborating with other leaders to develop madrasah programmes that focus on learning religious subjects. This aims for students to excel in religious education competitions at district, provincial and national levels; The madrasah principal aims to assist students in managing their time effectively. The impact of this study shows that the innovative leadership implemented by the madrasah principal not only improves the quality of religious education but also equips students with better time management skills, ultimately improving their overall academic performance
Enhancing Religious Education through the Integration of School-Based Worship Activities: A Strategic Approach
This research explores the integration of religious activities in State Elementary School (SDN) No 116260 Simonis North Sumatra to strengthen religious education among students, with a special focus on Friday worship activities. This research aims to identify the forms of Friday worship activities, their implementation, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors that influence these activities in strengthening students' religious education. The research method used is qualitative using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that Friday worship activities have a significant impact on students, increasing their understanding of worship and enabling them to carry out compulsory worship such as prayer and reading the Qur'an. Friday worship activities generally include dhuha prayers in congregation, reading the Qur'an, sholawat and dhikr, and kultum. Supporting factors include adequate facilities at the school, support from the principal, cooperation between teachers and parents, and students' enthusiasm in participating in these activities. However, the main inhibiting factor identified was the limited implementation time. In conclusion, the integration of religious activities such as Friday worship contributes positively to strengthening students' religious education, improving understanding and practice of religious obligations in educational institutions
The Strategy of Typical Islamic Boarding Schools in Preparing Moderate and National-Minded Kyai-Ulama Cadres
This study aims to describe the concept of Moderate and National-minded Kyai-ulama, the Learning Process, and the strategies applied in preparing Cadres of Moderate and National-minded Kyai-ulama. This research was conducted in Ma'had Aly Nurul Qadim Paiton Probolinggo. The approach and type of research used are qualitative case studies. Data collection using interview, observation, and documentation methods. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman's theory. Researchers use triangulation techniques and sources to test the data's validity. The results of this study are: First, moderate and national-minded scholars, according to Ma'had Aly Nurul Qadim, are scholars who adhere to the concept of أدعوا الى سبيل ربك بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة implications of the verse First, not too right and left, Second, not imposing, Third, Marrying culture with religion. Second, the Learning Process applied by Ma'had Aly Nurul Qadim Probolinggo in preparing Moderate and National-Minded Kyai-ulama Cadres is to practice a student-based learning process instead of lecturer-based. Third, there are five strategies for Ma'had Aly Nurul Qadim Probolinggo in preparing Moderate and National-Minded Kyai-ulama Cadres. First, boarding students. Second, apply the democratic system in the learning process. Third, encourage bahtsul masail activities. Fourth, hold a national seminar. Fifth, community service is based on local culture

Social interaction plays a crucial role in education as it fosters communication skills and emotional intelligence, essential for personal and professional growth. Additionally, interacting with peers and educators in a learning environment enhances understanding and knowledge retention, supporting collaborative learning and problem-solving skills. This study aims to explore social guidance based on Islamic principles implemented by students of Islamic Counseling at Nibong Tebal Vocational College, located at Jalan Bukit Panchor, 14300 Nibong Tebal, Penang, Malaysia. The research was designed to help individuals identify, handle, and overcome social issues, enabling them to adapt well within their social environments. Data collection involved direct observations and interviews with lecturers and students at the college. During the implementation, students guided classroom discussions and activities in open areas like reading gardens. The results showed a significant improvement in social interactions, including greetings, smiles, salutations, and handshakes. Pembelajaran Bermutu di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana inovasi kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran bermutu pada SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta, dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gamabaran pembelajaran bermutu pada SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakrta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, wakil wepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, dan guru. Hasil penelitian Kepala sekolah SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta telah melakukan inovasi dalam membimbing guru untuk menciptakan suatu pembelajaran, yang dimulai dengan menghadirkan narasumber untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada para dewan guru dalam penyusunan RPP dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital seperti leptop dan komputer, dan juga mengadakan supervisi akademik kepada guru-guru dengan membuat instrumen penilaian terlebih dahulu. CULTURAL INFLUENCE IN CLASSIC AND MODERN SOCIETY'S BELIEF SYSTEMS ON THE MIRACLE PHENOMENON OF PRAYER WATER FROM KYAI
The phenomenon of the blessing of prayer water from Kyai has been widely trusted by some people in Indonesia. This is because it is believed to have a positive element that they call blessings, which can help cure various diseases. This is due to the beliefs of those who consider the Kyai figure as a human who is clean heart and soul, so that it is believed to be closer to God and his prayers are more makbul and dijabah. Based on previous research from Masaru Emoto, a scientist from Japan about the actual water power, the phenomenon of the blessing of prayer water from the cleric is very interesting to be analyzed more deeply. This study aims to see the relationship between the phenomenon of public trust with a book entitled “The Miracle of Water: Mukjizat Air”. The research method used is qualitative research using descriptive methods. There are 3 data collection methods used, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using triangulation. The results of this study show that there is a change in water into beautiful crystals after being prayed for good words. The presence of the results of the Japanese research makes the community, especially Muslim readers, increasingly receive the above findings with full nuances and religious content. In addition, we should also be able to appreciate the findings of the Japanese scientist as a moral message in the form of an invitation to the community about good intentions and noble missions to appreciate water, maintain the environment, and be grateful for God's grace.

PORTRAIT OF INDEPENDENT LEARNING STUDENTS OF MUHAMMADIYAH 2 KEBUMEN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
A person will always need an independent attitude from an early age to adulthood. This need is closely related to the need to be independent in everyday life, including for elementary school students. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the learning independence of class VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kebumen. This research is quantitative and descriptive. Research data comes from primary sources, namely 35 class VIII students. The data collection technique uses a learning independence questionnaire technique, while the data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research showed that 20 students had high learning independence or 57%, while 15 students had low learning independence, or 43%. The responsible indicator obtained the lowest results at 50%, while the Initiative indicator was the highest indicator at 56%. In general, on average each indicator obtained a result of 52.8%. Thus, it can be concluded that students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kebumen have a variety of types of learning independence in the form of high and low learning independence with the average value of each indicator being quite adequate
