    The Estimated Value of Losses and Insurance Due to Citarum River Flooding

    Flooding in Citarum always happens in Bandung District which causes loss of property, household damage, diseases moreover decease. The government provides aid for flood victims, but the help is not cover losses. In this circumstance, people need insurance. This study aims to set up flood insurance based on economic conditions, areas, and losses due to flooding. To find out the conditions, interviewed the village chief of Baleendah. The analytical methods used are linear regression analysis and analysis method mix. Linear regression analysis was used to estimate flood losses that will serve as the sum insured in the form of insurance products. Analysis mixture consisting of identification areas, conditions, and alternative insurance models used to establish the right flood insurance for Baleendah. Results show the estimation of flood losses and flood insurance appropriate to the condition of Baleendah

    Fuzzy Decision Tree to Predict Student Success in Their Studies

    The number of students graduating on time is one of the important aspects in the assessment of accreditation of a university. But the problem is still a lot of students who exceed the target time of graduation. Therefore, the prediction of graduation on time can serve as an early warning for the university management to prepare strategies related to the prevention of cases of drop out. The purpose of this research is to build a model using fuzzy decision tree to form the classification rules are used to predict the success of a student\u27s study using fuzzy inference system. Results of this study was generated model of the number of classification rules are 28 rules when the value θr is 98% and θn is 3%, with the level of accuracy is 95.85%. Accuracy of Fuzzy ID3 algorithm is higher than ID3 algorithms in predicting the timely graduation of students

    Integrating Technologies in the New Normal: A Study of Blended Learning

    The objective of this research is to describe how the teacher integrates technologies in blended learning and to analyze students’ perception and challenges in blended learning. The research was conducted in a private senior high school in Bandung and used a qualitative descriptive method. The data were collected through interview and questionnaire. The findings show that the teacher had already integrated technologies to run the process of teaching and learning in the new normal era as a replacement of a face to face learning due to Covid-19 pandemic. In the blended learning, the teacher integrated the variety of technologies in teaching-learning activities, namely zoom meeting and WhatsApp group chatting for the synchronous learning and she utilized google classroom, screencast o matic screen recorder, viva video editor, YouTube, and Quizizz the synchronous learning. The students perceived  blended learning positively and determined that it is it is one of the effective ways of teaching. The biggest challenge overcome by the teacher is more time needed to learn and adapt to this new situation where they must employ technology in our educational culture. For the students, the stability of internet connection also becomes major obstacle in blended learning. Apart from that, blended learning can be an option applied in the learning process in the current pandemic era

    Application of Exogenous Liquidity Risk Models to Analyze Single Assets

    Exogenous liquidity risk measurement is a measurement of liquidity risk that affects all market participants and is not affected by the actions of any other actors. Exogenous liquidity risk measurement is usually called the Cost of Liquidity (COL). The main problem is how the level of liquidity of one currency against other currencies and the effect of liquidity risk on VaR (Value at Risk) on a single asset. This thesis examines the importance of liquidity risk on a single asset. Combining basic VaR and liquidity risk will result in more effective calculations. The model used is to add the basic VaR value with the Cost of Liquidity (COL) or also called Liquidity VaR (L-VaR). The calculation results show the different effects of liquidity for each country\u27s currency. Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) is the currency that has the highest liquidity component compared to the Japanese Yen (JPY) and the Thai Baht (THB). The lower the liquidity component of a currency, the currency is very liquid, and the Japanese Yen (JPY) is the most liquid currency compared to the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and the Thai Baht (THB)

    Engaging Halal Lifestyle toward Purchase Intention of Event Marketing : A Study on Car Free Day Activities in Aceh

    This study aims to be able to test and analyze the effect of halal lifestyle, price and location on purchase intention in the activities of the Banda Aceh City Car Free Day. The method used is quantitative with Non Probability Sampling in the form of purposive sampling. The data used is primary data, which is obtained directly from the object to be studied in the form of respondents\u27 perceptions by circulating a list of questions in the form of a questionnaire to 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression statistical tools. The partial test results show that the location variable does not have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, while the price and halal lifestyle have a positive effect on purchase intention. The simultaneous test results also show that location, price and halal lifestyle variables have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention in the Banda Aceh City Car Free Day activities

    On Generalization of Fibonacci, Lucas and Mulatu Numbers

    Fibonacci numbers, Lucas numbers and Mulatu numbers are built in the same method. The three numbers differ in the first term, while the second term is entirely the same. The next terms are the sum of two successive terms. In this article, generalizations of Fibonacci, Lucas and Mulatu (GFLM) numbers are built which are generalizations of the three types of numbers. The Binet formula is then built for the GFLM numbers, and determines the golden ratio, silver ratio and Bronze ratio of the GFLM numbers. This article also presents generalizations of these three types of ratios, called Metallic ratios. In the last part we state the Metallic ratio in the form of continued fraction and nested radicals

    Data Mining Implementation Using Naïve Bayes Algorithm and Decision Tree J48 In Determining Concentration Selection

    Computerization of society has substantially improved the ability to generate and collect data from a variety of sources. A large amount of data has flooded almost every aspect of people\u27s lives. AMIK HASS Bandung has an Informatic Management Study Program consisting of three areas of concentration that can be selected by students in the fourth semester including Computerized Accounting, Computer Administration, and Multimedia. The determination of concentration selection should be precise based on past data, so the academic section must have a pattern or rule to predict concentration selection. In this work, the data mining techniques were using Naive Bayes and Decision Tree J48 using WEKA tools. The data set used in this study was 111 with a split test percentage mode of 75% used as training data as the model formation and 25% as test data to be tested against both models that had been established. The highest accuracy result obtained on Naive Bayes which is obtaining a 71.4% score consisting of 20 instances that were properly clarified from 28 training data. While Decision Tree J48 has a lower accuracy of 64.3% consisting of 18 instances that are properly clarified from 28 training data. In Decision Tree J48 there are 4 patterns or rules formed to determine concentration selection so that the academic section can assist students in determining concentration selection

    Efforts to encourage rural communities to have the ability and meet their own needs independently and have competitiveness can be done by empowering innovation-based communities in rural areas. With the village innovation program, it can support village development to be more effective and efficient through various innovation-based community empowerment programs to be more innovative and responsive to the needs of rural communities. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of innovation-based community empowerment programs in rural areas and the obstacles faced. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The data used is sourced from journals searched through Google Scholar. The results of the review show that there are several innovation-based community empowerment programs in rural areas. Innovation-based empowerment programs have an important role for the welfare of rural communities. Recommendations that can be given are to give full attention to innovation-based empowerment programs for rural communities

    Comparative Analysis of Elementary School Student Knowledge Regarding Flood Mitigation in the Citarum Watershed

    Flooding is a natural event, one of which is caused by the overflow of rivers. This disaster often occurs in the Dayeuhkolot area, Bandung Regency. Geographical conditions that are close to the flow of the Citarum River and the plains that are lower than the surrounding area cause this area to be flooded especially during the rainy season. This paper aims to analyze the effectiveness of disaster training given at a young age and analyze the effectiveness of training methods provided in the form of games and PowerPoint media. This activity is aimed at grade 6th students at BojongAsih Elementary School starting with the questionnaire I which functions as a pre-test and ends with questionnaire II which functions as a post-test. Questionnaires were given at the beginning and at the end to see the extent to which the material provided new influence and knowledge to BojongAsih Elementary School students. The results of the questionnaire showed that before counseling about flood mitigation, samples were categorized as having a good knowledge of 91% and having poor knowledge of 9%. After counseling about flood disaster mitigation using games and PowerPoint media there was an increase in knowledge, samples that had good knowledge were 98% and those with less good knowledge were 2%. Based on the pre-test and post-test results, this activity was proven successful in increasing the knowledge of BojongAsihElementary School related to flood mitigation
