Laplace Decomposition Method for Solving Fractional Black-Scholes European Option Pricing Equation

Fractional calculus is related to derivatives and integrals with the order is not an integer. Fractional Black-Scholes partial differential equation to determine the price of European-type call options is an application of fractional calculus in the economic and financial fields. Laplace decomposition method is one of the reliable and effective numerical methods for solving fractional differential equations. Thus, this paper aims to apply the Laplace decomposition method for solving the fractional Black-Scholes equation, where the fractional derivative used is the Caputo sense. Two numerical illustrations are presented in this paper. The results show that the Laplace decomposition method is an efficient, easy and very useful method for finding solutions of fractional Black-Scholes partial differential equations and boundary conditions for European option pricing problems

Markowitz Model Investment Portfolio Optimization: a Review Theory

In the face of investment risk, investors generally diversify and form an investment portfolio consisting of several assets. The problem is the fiery proportion of funds that must be allocated to each asset in the formation of investment portfolios. This paper aims to study the optimization of the Markowitz investment portfolio. In this study, the Markowitz model discussed is that which considers risk tolerance. Optimization is done by using the Lagrangean Multiplier method. From the study, an equation is obtained to determine the proportion (weight) of fund allocation for each asset in the formation of investment portfolios. So by using these equations, the determination of investment portfolio weights can be determined by capital

Morinda Citrifolia: Bioactivity and Utilization as Traditional Medicine and Food for the Community

Morindacitrifolia is a medicinal plant has been long used as traditional medicine and food ingredients. The plant bioactivity as a drug is related to its secondary metabolites. The writing of the article is based on a review to scientific published online or offline of the journals and books. In the Indonesian homegarden, the MC most found and cultivated as traditional medicinal. The fruit of MC has been commercialized as a health drink, but the anthraquinone content used as an indicator its security. The bioactivity of MC is antioxidant, anti-cancer, anti-microbial, anti-cancer, immunomodulatory, increasing central nervous system activity, anti-psychotic, antihepatitic and hepatoprotective. The 6-O- (b-D-glucopyranosyl) -1-O-octanoyl-b-D-glucopyranose and asperulosidic acid have anti-cancer activity, while pheophorbide a and pyropheophorbide a have anti-hepatitis activity

Marine Tourism Benefit from Economic Perspective (Case in Pari Island, Indonesia)

Marine tourism as new emerging economic icon had potential economic growth to promote Indonesia’s economic development.  One of the islands that attract many visitors who want to enjoy marine tourism is Pari Island, which lies in Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta.  The study was conducted in June 2017 until October 2017 on Pari Island, Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive. Sample was tourist from domestic as well as foreign countries who travelled to Pari Island.  Data collection was gathered by survey techniques, which are complemented by observation, and interviews. For data collection using survey techniques, only respondents who were willing were given a questionnaire to fill out the questionnaire. Data was analyzed using descriptive and PCA

Empowerment of Gunung Sari Village Community Groups, to optimize the potential of the village towards the Tourism Independent Village

The tourism sector in Gunung Sari Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency, is not the main sector in its community activities. The existence of natural tourism in the form of waterfalls, camping ground and hot springs is a potential for the village to realize the Bogor Regency Mission. Existing tour operators are not residents or village communities. The active participation of village communities has not been seen in the management, operational and maintenance of tourist attractions. The tour paramilitary group 20 can be an agent for villages to empower communities in the tourism sector. Srikandi Gunung Sari group is a community group that involves mothers and produces local food products in the form of banana chips and cassava. In an effort to increase the active participation of village communities in tourism activities in Gunung Sari Village, the empowerment of the Laskar Tourism Group 20 and Srikandi Gunung Sari was carried out through education, workshops, mentoring and facilitation activities. The main target of this activity is the village community who can independently manage, maintain and improve the tourism sector in Gunung Sari village towards a sustainable tourism independent village

Application of LDR on Automatic Street Lights Using Electronic Workbench Simulation

LDR or Light Dependent Resistor is a resistor whose resistance value is influenced by the type of light received. In addition to having to be designed ON and OFF automatically and save electrical energy and human labor, the lighting of the street system is also monitored regularly, to ensure that there is no need for lights to be turned on, light sensors are needed. An example of its use is in garden lights and street lights that can turn on at night and turn off during the day automatically. Or we can also use it in our own room. This article will discuss the effect of the LDR light sensor on lamp control. Sensors are designed in conjunction with transistors. This transistor is used as a comparison of light entering the LDR sensor

Statement of Profit Loss of Pojok Cilira 46

Warung Pojok Cilira 46 is a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (UMKM) which is engaged in the food sector. The sale of food and beverages is the main source of income for this restaurant. So far, roadside stall Pojok Cilira 46 still has difficulty analyzing the profit and loss from selling food and beverages. This study aims to assist in a more in-depth observation of the profits generated by lapak and losses obtained by lapak within a period of one month. In this report an analysis is carried out for the period January 3, 2020 – January 14, 2020. The method used in making this report is to use primary data by collecting observational data and interviews with shop owners related to the things needed in making a profit and loss report such as income, operational costs, assets and others. The results of this report show that sales in the first week of January, namely the period from January 3, 2020 to January 7, 2020, increased by 60% compared to the second week. It is hoped that this income statement can help in managing profits more optimally and the financial performance of Warung Pojok Cilira 46
