    Get PDF
Optimization problems in real life often have problems with data that cannot be known precisely; constraints on the data are commonly referred as errors. This kind of data is called uncertainty. This uncertainty problem can be solved using Robust Optimization (RO). RO is growing rapidly with the participation of various kinds of research, especially the supply chain (distribution of food or goods between regions). It can be seen that RO is very active in providing support and contribution in various aspects of life by providing optimal results for an objective function and dealing with existing limitations and data uncertainty. This article discusses the background of the problem and the purpose of creating an article, provides an overview of bibliometric map analysis methods and discusses literature and studies. Critical review from OR database articles for supply chain problems are used as a reference, so at the end, it can be determined what novelty is an opportunity for further research

    Get PDF
Sustainable Food Agricultural Land Protection is a system and process in planning, developing, utilizing, controlling, and monitoring agricultural land that is determined to be consistently protected in order to produce staple food for national food security. Currently, food agriculture land in Karawang Regency is increasingly under threat along with the rapid development of the industrial sector in the area and threats from the surrounding area. Not only because of the conversion into industrial land, but the existence of factories around it also threatens soil fertility and water quality due to the factory waste itself. The focus in this paper is how the Karawang Regency Government carries out Collaborative Governance in protecting sustainable food agricultural land. In this study, the authors used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The purpose of this research is to explain how to study and analyze the implementation of policies on the protection of sustainable agricultural land with one of the stages of collaborative governance from Ansell and Gash, namely share understanding. The results showed that the Government of Karawang Regency has succeeded in conducting share understanding in collaborative governance well because it has the same goal, namely to create national food security. Openness and interdependence with each other fosters a sense of understanding. However, the community\u27s understanding regarding PLP2B is felt to be lacking because they have not received good socialization from the Karawang Regency Government

In spite of the country’s export activities constantly increase every year, based on the latest report Indonesia still sits at number 28th in the world\u27s top export countries, consider Indonesia as one of the most populated nations and its rich natural resources. There is so much research in the literature about this issue, but to the author’s knowledge, there is still a lack of studies that analyze the performance of non-oil export comparative advantage between provinces in Indonesia instead of between its commodities. The purpose of this research is (1st) to compare non-oil exports comparative advantage between 34 provinces in Indonesia and (2nd) to prove the effect of chosen factors which are a foreign direct investment, local direct investment, inflation, interest rate, exchange rate, population, labor, minimum wage, education, income disparity, regional GDP, government expenditure, and GDP of importing country toward provinces comparative advantage of non-oil export. This research using provinces panel data years 2010-2019. The method of this study is Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) index and Trade Balance Index (TBI) to unveil non-oil export comparative advantage between 34 provinces in Indonesia and panel data regression to estimate the impact of determinant factors. The result of comparative advantage index estimation shows that 24 provinces have a comparative advantage based on the RCA index approach and 32 provinces have a comparative advantage based on the TBI approach on non-oil export activities year 2010-2019. The result of panel data regression found that 9 out of 13 determinant variables had a significant effect on the RCA index namely foreign direct investment, local direct investment, exchange rate, population, labor, minimum wage, income disparity, regional GDP, and government expenditure. Then 6 out of 13 determinant variables had a significant effect on TBI which are a local direct investment, interest rate, exchange rate, education, income disparity, and regional GDP

Sediment Transport Pattern Modelling in Bojong Salawe Coast Pangandaran using Mike 21

    Get PDF
Bojong Salawe is a coastal area with unique characteristics due to a confluence of three rivers that flow through Cijulang, Cijalu, Cialit and into the Indian Ocean. With complex oceanographic conditions, the sediment transport patterns at Bojong Salawe needs to be contemplated, especially the coastal’s utilization which is quite productive. This study aims to determine the sediment types, the sediment transport patterns and the effect of sediment transport on abrasion or accretion which are supported by hydrodynamic parameters modelling such as wind, currents and tides in the west and east monsoons using hydrodynamic modules and sediment transport in MIKE 21. The results showed that the sediments in this study is 80% sandy silt and 20% sand. The sediment transport pattern models in both the west and east monsoons tend to be influenced by tidal currents, sediment types and the season itself. West monsoon has a higher sediment concentration which ranges from 0 to 8.4 kg/m3 compared to the East Monsoon with a range of 0-4 kg/m3. The effect of sediment transport on the average bed level was 0.71861 m in the west monsoon and 0.37586 m in the east monsoon whereas in the estuary (research station), the average change in West Monsoon is 0.00861 m (ST 1) and 0.07107 m (ST 2) and in the East Monsoon, it is 0.01003 m (ST 1) and 0.01147 m (ST 2). This bed level change tends to increase, indicating that the Bojong Salawe coast has experienced sedimentation (accretion)
