    Illegal Levies as a Negative Element Contributing to The Decrease of The Tourism Potential on Madura

    As revealed by the World Economic Forum, there is a correlation between corruption and tourism: the higher the level of corruption of a state, as reflected in the Corruption Perceptions Index of Transparency International, the lower the number of foreign tourists visiting the state. As such, a very strong correlation exists between the community development index, tourism, and the community’s legal awareness on the journey to the eradication of illegal fees. Illegal fees have to date been regarded as something normal in society. Illegal fees have become a regular in every sector, which must be ceased, and this holds true to the tourism sector as well. It is thus become essential to study the correlation between illegal fees in the tourism sector and the undermined tourism potential on Madura.Illegal fees have become part of the systems applied in Indonesia, including in the tourism sector. One of the reasons behind visitors’ disinterest in visiting a tourist attraction is the illegal fees someone imposes there, whether they be in the form of entrance fees or in the form of parking fees. The absence of a price standard allows some irresponsible persons to collect such fees as entrance and parking fees at tourist attractions variably according to the situation that arises in a given time.This paper uses a socio-legal research method to investigate directly into the relationship between illegal fees in the tourism sector and the undermined tourism potential on Madura. Investor strategies to minimize investment risk are diversification by forming investment portfolios, one of which is the Mean-Variance without risk-free assets. The calculation results will show the composition of the optimum portfolio return for each stock that forms the portfolio. Optimum portfolio obtained with wT = (0.39853, 0.25519, 0.13644, 0.09788, 0.11196) sequential weight composition for TLKM, KLBF, INCO, HRUM, and FILM stocks. The composition of this optimal portfolio return is ???? 0.04 with a return of 0.00209 and a portfolio variance of 0.00015.     The utilization of information technology in learning has functioned as a tool in the teaching and learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. The need for the availability of a learning platform using LMS (Learning Management System) or free e-learning that is easily obtained from the public network (internet) makes the utilization of the learning platform indispensable for the teaching and learning process. Learning platforms available on the internet can also be used independently by students. However, not all existing learning platforms can be used as the appropriate means to improve the quality of education. The educator policies are needed to utilize the existing learning platforms so that learning objectives can be achieved. This study will analyze how to choose the right learning platform for an educational institution using SAW (Simple Additive Weighting)-based Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) method. FMADM is a method used to find the optimal alternative from a number of alternatives with certain criteria.     The low interest and talent of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 065011, Medan Selayang Subdistrict, Medan City, for the 2021-2022 academic year in writing activities is caused by the absence of creativity made by educators in teaching students. For this reason, it is necessary to develop an innovative learning model that can make students more active in the process of learning to write. The learning model to be developed in this research is a collaborative learning model. The collaborative learning model is one of the "Student-Centered Learning" (SCL) models. The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of the use of collaborative learning models in improving the writing skills of fifth graders at SD Negeri 065011, Medan Selayang Subdistrict, Medan City in the 2021-2022 academic year. The research method used in this research is the research & development method. The research subject of this development product is the validator. The object of research in this study is a writing learning model, namely a collaborative learning model that is implemented in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 065011, Medan Selayang District, Medan City in the 2021-2022 academic year. The instrument used to obtain research data using non-test instruments and test instruments. The results of this study indicate that the collaborative learning model is effective in improving the skills of writing descriptive text by fifth grade students of SD Negeri 065011, Medan Selayang District, Medan City in the 2021-2022 academic year, where before the process of developing the collaborative learning model was in the sufficient category and then increased to good after the process of developing cooperative learning models in class V of SD Negeri 065011, Medan Selayang District, Medan City, for the academic year 2021-2022

    Studying the Formulation of Shallot (Allium Ascalonicum L.) Ethanol Extract Gel as Treatment of Excision Wounds in Rats

    Onion bulbs (Allium ascalonicum L.) contain alkaloid compounds and saponins which can accelerate the wound healing process. Therefore, a study was conducted on the wound healing effect of excision of ethanol extract of onion bulbs (Allium ascalonicum L.) in the form of a gel against mice (Rattus novergicus). The purpose of this research was to study the stability of the preparation as well as the effectiveness and optimum concentration in excision wound healing from the ethanolic extract of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) in gel dosage form. The concentration variants used were 5%, 10%, and 20%. The method used was sample extraction by maceration and wound gel was made in 3 concentrations, namely 5%, 10%, and 20% then a stability test was carried out on the preparation by cycling test method at 4⁰C and 40⁰C for 6 cycles. Besides that, gel base was also used as a negative control and octadine® gel as a positive control, then the back skin of a rat (Rattus novergicus) was injured using a surgical knife. The results of the observation of the stability of the wound gel preparation were stable both at 4⁰C and at 40⁰C. Reduction of the length of the wound at the beginning of the treatment until the wound was completely closed showed that the ethanol extract gel preparation of shallot bulbs (Allium ascalonicum L.) could reduce and heal cuts in rats with a concentration of 20% which showed the most effective wound healing effect.Onion bulbs (Allium ascalonicum L.) contain alkaloid compounds and saponins which can accelerate the wound healing process.     Development of Learning Media Simulation of Automatic Garden Lights Using the Proteus Application

    With so many garden lights, gardeners often struggle to turn on or turn on garden lights manually, this study aims to make it easier for park officers or gardeners to turn on or turn off garden lights practically. Automatic garden light is a lighting system that runs automatically, this system can use light sensors such as LDR (Light Dependent Resistor), photodiode and others. However, this circuit system can also use a timer that has been set in time when the circuit or garden lights will turn on and off, this can happen because there is an automatic switch circuit that utilizes the characteristics of one of the light sensors, namely the LDR sensor whose resistance value can change according to Light intensity. During the day, the resistance value of the LDR will be very high and even reach its maximum value of 10k , this makes the current flowing to the base of the transistor very small, to activate the transistor 2N3055 a minimum voltage of 0.9V is needed to the base of the transistor. Because the resistance of the LDR is very large, the voltage that enters the base of the transistor will be very small or even non-existent so that the transistor is like an open switch and does not flow current. One type of automatic switch that is widely used today is a light switch with a light sensor, where the switch will turn off and on automatically because it is affected by the intensity of the light around it. For example, at night, we don\u27t need to press the switch to turn on the lights, because the lights will turn on automatically. The results of this study indicate that the simulation experiment of garden lights using the Proteus application went well, the use of simulation using Proteus also aims to make it easier for us to understand an electronic component and how it works

    Stocks are investment instruments that provide returns but tend to be risky. The most important component of investing is volatility, where volatility is identical to the standard conditional deviation of stock price return. The important thing in investing in addition to return is a risk. Value-at-Risk (VaR) is a statistical method of estimating maximum losses. To evaluate the quality of VaR estimates, models should always be back-tested with appropriate methods. Back-testing is a statistical procedure in which actual gains and losses are systematically compared to appropriate VaR estimates. The goal of the study was to estimate the Autoregressive Moving Average-Generalized Conditional Heteroscedastic (ARMA-GARCH) model to determine Value-at-Risk and back-testing. ARMA is a combination of AR and MA models, while GARCH is a time series model with symmetrical properties. The method in this study is systematic browsing of libraries. Systematic library tracing is an attempt to identify, evaluate, and interpret all research relevant to a particular phenomenon.

    Many educators still use conventional teaching materials, namely teaching materials that are ready to use, just buy, instant, without the effort of planning, preparing, and compiling their own and less attracting children\u27s attention in learning. So the image media is used as a development effort in learning Indonesian. This study aims to determine the quality of teaching materials based on the validation of material experts and media experts, to determine the attractiveness of teaching materials based on student responses, and to determine the average increase in student achievement based on pretest and posttest scores. This research was carried out at SDN 101938 Adolina, Perbaungan District, for the 2021-2022 academic year. This research is development research. The subjects of the study were the fifth grade students of SDN 101938 Adolina, Perbaungan District, for the academic year 2021-2022 with a total of 36 students. Data collection techniques used are tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the percentage and the average. The results of the overall quality of teaching materials are good with a percentage of 78%. The results of the attractiveness of teaching materials based on student responses in the limited trial obtained a percentage of 87% with a very interesting category, while in the large group trial a percentage of 85% was obtained with a very attractive category. The average value of the pretest is 6.09, while the average value of the posttest is 8.44, so it can be concluded that there is an increase in the average student achievement
